2 years, 4 months ago @ningcai8495 I'm a PR working in Canada, and my parents visit me once every few years. During this recent visit, they really noticed Canadians are suffering from high prices and crazy housing compared to before. The government needs to act and come up with some effective policy. 202 F3SFZdZFHxs

2 years, 4 months ago @pratheepanyogendran7220 If half my paycheque goes to Housing cost, how can one grow? We are stagnant now. Too many red tapes and government ( all level) bureaucracies limiting growth. There are food Inflation but we can’t produce more food because of a quota system. Second largest country in the world but we wait 10 years to buy a tiny house. ??‍♂️ 19 F3SFZdZFHxs

2 years, 4 months ago @bsaunder359 Canada is the best country in the world. Many are keen to move because they see Canada as a place offering a good quality of life, relative safety, beautiful landscapes and a decent health-care system. 1 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @canelo1728 Lol, all this fake news about Canada. Canada is a great country and large 1 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @john_doe_not_found In the 1960s Canada was building homes to accommodate the Boomer wave they saw coming. It was planned.\nToday Canada sets high immigration targets, planned. But does not build homes for those people.. failure to plan. Growing the nation is a great idea, but you have to plan. Fail to plan, plan to fail.\n\nCanada can improve very quickly, all the government has to do is pull it's boot up off the neck of business. Cut red tape, repeal bad laws, tell the cities to fix zoning and shrink their bureaucracy. Build cheaper homes and profit from scale. Build starter homes for the masses, not McMansions for the elite. Young people need a place they can afford, so they can feel secure and start a family. 1 F3SFZdZFHxs

2 years, 4 months ago @masaharumorimoto4761 It's rough over here, groceries alone are double what they were 5 years ago, but the rich people in power just refuse to see the reality, they disperse 1 time payments of 200 bucks and say they helped. 349 F3SFZdZFHxs

2 years, 4 months ago @SlicedSlappy Why didn’t we just keep the status quo. The country is not diverse. It’s segregated. Look at Richmond in BC, Surrey, and Brampton. This isn’t diversity it’s a home away from home. 0 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @stephendow560 I am not surprised! It is truly heartbreaking to see how Justin Trudeau and his elitist cronies with their extreme left-wing ideologies have systematically unravelled our great nation in less than a decade. Shame!! 1 F3SFZdZFHxs

2 years, 4 months ago @AuditorInvestor Inflation is a big issue in Canada, unaffordable crazy prices, just barely survive like a beggar on food. 125 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @uday5412 Nothing about the country inspires loyalty or confidence. The leadership, federal and provincial, is a joke. The nation is comprised of people who want to turn a quick profit, and make their money buying and selling houses: that accounts for 20 FREAKING PERCENT of their GDP. There is nothing for a new citizen to rally around - no seriousness about themselves, no desire to build something big for the future, no sense of identity that does not exist in contradistinction to the US. The only good that has come of this disastrous experiment with immigration is that hardly anyone with any options will ever make the mistake that so many others have. 0 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @grahamorandazzo5090 Canada what a bunch of criminals running the country. 0 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @vijaykaur4534 Canada should definitely see what kind of an image they have made of themselves. They have shown themselves to look like an illiterate government. Its like the Indian government which has always no good to making its country a better country the way it could have decades ago. Canada too has been ridiculous in maintaining better standards, yet sat in a their own bubble keeps boosting about how they think the country provides some of it best services. like i said in its own bubble and not taking a reality check. 2 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @ronsingh1090 As an Indian I'm sad to hear this as most of our shit was going out now will be returning with debt 11 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @dominickskinner407 Why is this on the bbc?\n\nI just had a quick look around other European national broadcasters, no one else finds this newsworthy for people here.\n\nWhat the hell, is this openly pandering to the tories? Bizarre. 0 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @R4GEDESIGN I had to work 45 to 50 hrs to survive hahahaha isn't that normal!?? Wtf 0 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @lifeseen I’m a Canadian and if I were younger I would leave. I’m now embarrassed to be a Canadian internationally and at home I really don’t know what that means except that I am labelled a racist white person who is privileged to pay a lot of taxes. 2 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @timothytusubira9904 Immigrants have a become a scapegoat for any government failed policy ? 0 F3SFZdZFHxs

2 years, 4 months ago @Dorwal-nam Canada and Australia not an option anymore. Their dragonic and woke agendas/ideologies are ensuring them going backwards very fast. 1 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @pbwmanagement I lived in Canada for 13 years, my two kids were born there\nI was there from 1985 thru '98 a truly wonderful country with remarkably friendly an resilient people.\nI lived in numerous places around Toronto and always got on with the local communities.\nRecently went back on vacation and struggled to recognize the place, change is inevitable but one has to \nwonder if its for the good of the country.\nMy heart will always be with Canadiens and I wish y'all well. 62 F3SFZdZFHxs
2 years, 4 months ago @jeansherwood2428 My brother, an American, married a Canadian in the early 1990s. He LOVES Canada. If I didn't have family dependent on me, I would move to Canada. Surprised anyone would want to leave Canada unless forced out. 1 F3SFZdZFHxs
