1 year, 3 months ago @greatdane3335 The amount of Canadians who act like they’re better than the US but then act just like them is very annoying. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @GarageShaman Honestly the batshit crazy comment reflects the #1 concern most Canadians have with the United States. We have conservatives and religious types but they're all more or less respectful and they don't try to control Canadian society. In comparison, at least a fifth of Americans are borderline fascists, and none of us want anything to do with those types of people. Since Trump took office they've become a hundred times worse, as now they're even threatening annexation. Sorry if it's hard to accept, but America has a serious problem right now, even if you're a good person. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @cloverazar5315 10:39 unfortunately, she may also mean in circumstances like Uvalde, where some of the children were so mangled by the blasts that their parents had to identify them by their clothes \n\nI recently declined an offer to move to Tribeca and help a company open their Canadian market. It was mad money, but I’ve done years in the states and I’m tired of jumping at bangs, and as a lesbian I like my civil rights 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @TedTrinity When i was younger i traveled the USA from the middle to east coast at least 20 states and had some great times. I could never live in the USA do to difference way of life. I have seen homes in Southern states that still have outhouses. My 1st time witnessing racism was in the Southern states and was shocked. Have not been back to the USA since Trump became President 1st time and now probably never will because of the politics. Glad I did then many good memories 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @TedTrinity My elderly aunt and uncle used to winter in Florida until he fell and broke his hip. Another aunt had to drive down there pick them up and drive back to get medical attention. The next year a hurricane took out there home and had to sell at a loss 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @mapleton123 I would not want to live down there with the pervasive American attitude. I thought my American friends were lovely people, but then we went to a restaurant together. I was flabberghasted by how they ALL spoke down to the waitress, as if she was beneath them. You can pick out the American tourists here, by how they talk to service people. I wish I could say this was a stereotype, but i live in a tourist town and see it every day. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @RainWillow-x4y As a Canadian, I am more afraid of the people than their healthcare system. And I am chronically ill and would be homeless in America. You seem pretty cool, but living in a place where children have to train for school shootings. I heard they cant even wear light up shoes for their own saftey. Just their hate of immigrants and people in general. Its not the first time that I have heard an American say they want to shoot down all the aliens. Also, wtf! We know you live in America. You dont need to have a flag every 2 meters. ????? even on your clothes. We get it! You're American! I feel like you guys get super offended by everything. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @kellycook5314 Crappy healthcare ?? … says a lot about your values … so I’m good ?? ❤️ 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @SilvanaEftimov I did my grad school parky in France the other half in the USA. Of the three places. USA would be my third choice. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @venuslady100 Canadians are educated in school about the states. We learn American history. America is taught nothing about Canada. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @sylphsylph2118 the booze is cheap in the US...but watered down compared to canada... 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @joycarpenter1888 My friend has to take a medicine costs 12000.$ a month, pays 0$ in canada 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @randenes Canadian here. Didn't know about the American copay for doctor visits !!! For a comparison I had something wrong last year and had to go daily to doctor appointments for over a month. I spent money on gas, 1 parking ticket (messed up one day with free on street parking), and a huge box of Tim Hortons doughnuts for the clinic staff as a thank you gift when it was all over ❤ the copay sounds horrific and explained so much. Thank you for sharing your experience in America. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @MurielGuyatt If you are moving to the States and you are trying to find the best place to live, you are playing Russian Roulette with your future. We as Canadians are mostly unfamiliar with which areas are bad. We dont think about things being so different until you live there. I don't think l could send my kids to school there either. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @mapleton123 Choosing where you live in the States doesn't help when people's rights (or lack of them) are enshrined in law. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @maryanne1367 Hey: I think you’ve seen me comment a lot here because I have my opinions and I really appreciate your blog.(is that what it’s called?). Anyway, I’m gonna tell you about my cancer story.\nTwo years ago at the age of about 53-54, I realize that I hadn’t had a mammogram in a long time because I’ve moved cities so I was on the list but in another city. So I decided I need to go get a mammogram. I contacted my GP and he gave me a referral within a couple of weeks. I had my mammogram. They didn’t like it within a week. They did it again. They didn’t like it. They decided to do an ultrasound. And still, they found areas that they were not happy with. So within another week, they did two biopsies. And they came back as cancer cells that had not gotten together yet to create a tumor. So it’s called stage zero cancer. Within two weeks I was in surgery where they took out everything they needed to and I was told that I have good margins. I then had six weeks of radiation. Five days a week for six weeks.\n\nSo about nine months after that and that healing, I had a referral to a plastic surgeon. She reduced my other breast so that I was even. That was about eight months ago. And this week I had a further reduction, call it a fine-tuning, to further ensure that I was even.\n\nThis was all done in Montreal Quebec Canada. \nI paid zero dollars, except a few times I may have paid six bucks for parking. \n\nI am cancer free. I’ve gone from a double D to a B, which you know is better than dying. I am so happy that I live here. 0 zJycj8c73sQ

1 year, 3 months ago @susanhebert3299 In Canada we pay nothing for child birth even if you need a specialist it’s nothing 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @jeffmill6683 The reason is due to longer being a citizen of Canada that's why they had to pay in Toronto. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @jeffmill6683 Having said that my niece in-law had two back operations and right now owes over 150,000.00 on just the second operation. I know I couldn't pay that kind of money. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @jeffmill6683 I just about moved to the states and I'm overjoyed that those plans fell through. Right now I'm in hospital having my kidney removed. When i leave the hospital I will owe not one red cent. Could I say that in the states even with health insurance. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @68twitzel Got bit by a spider and ended up septic. In hospital for two weeks five blood transfusions. Two knee replacements. Hernia surgery. One child and we stayed in hospital three nights because he had a few issues. Went to Detroit for a surgery that wasn’t approved in Canada but Canada paid me back every penny including hotel costs. Out of all of the above I paid zero!!!! I was actually grouchy for only one min cuz I had to pay 20 bucks for the crutches. lol love my country and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Thank you Canada!!!!! 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @peggyrobertson8169 Heck NO!! \nI LOVE SoCal & would move there in a heartbeat IF it was Canada, so NO!!!! ?? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @lori2407 Yes, you have some beautiful places to see, however there are WAY too many reasons not to move there? Gun culture? Blows my mind. Health care? I don’t want to live under a bridge after a major health issue. And don’t get me started on the bat shit crazy politics. I could go on and on…. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @judes1948 Tyler, I’m surprised. Canadians are more outraged about gun violence in the U.S., especially against children, than Americans are?! Killing children ANYWHERE in your country should make you crazy angry, and insist on changing the gun culture! Insane! 1 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @ErinDafoe My brother in law and wife live in Seattle, they love it. Job opportunities. -BC'er 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @peggyannenicholl7318 sorry Tyler, didnt know where to send this talk, hope it gets to you. I recently watched a You Tube video from a couple, who had never been in Canada, it was quite amazing, think it was called something Southern or so. one of the main things, the gentleman was looking for is they had travelled from the west trough Toronto to the East and threw their arms up, saying, where are all the police, they had only seen 1 cop car in the city on their visit. secondly, he was dissappointed he could see where the hoods were, he wanted to see the Crackheads. (we dont have hoods like they do in the US)., another thing was he was sad because he couldnt find any Moose while they were driving from Niagara Falls to Toronto. Love your shows and talks. keep it up, thanks 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @rosecommisso1035 Your the anomaly Tyler , your a nice guy 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @dawnhill5484 69% of all bankruptcies in the US are due to the cost of healthcare, and the inability of the average person to pay for the healthcare they require. This in the country where the US government spends more than twice as much per capita as the Canadian government. Also as one of the richest countries in the world, it has the highest infant and childbirth mortality rates and lowest age expectancies…. But this is the best place-to live??? REALLY?? 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @pamcadham500 Im Canadian with a lot of health issues. Many trips to the ER, the longest I have had to wait, was about 15 mins. And if it was real serious, I was seen by a doctor immediately. I hear people complain about wait time, but the problem we have is that many people take advantage of the ER instead of making an apt with their family Dr. So if it's not an emergency and you go to the E.R. you will wait. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @Helen-l3i Like minded in a life philosophy you say... totally supports the intolerance to diversity. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @Helen-l3i My experience as a Canadian as we keep personal political, religious, racist beliefs to ourselves. Americans I found tend to bond to people based on these personal beliefs all too much. Love the diverse culture I live within in Canada. Should review the data on shootings in educational institutions in the US , you might be surprised how many days in a year these shootings do occur. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @KsamilKalturnyk-i9z I do not care trumps not throw stars into my maple syrup tree cause it will effect his drinking water. Very selfish old man he's not in it for youth seeing the future. Yet he has kids and there won't be a good future of healthy water upon putting that flag with stars into my red maple leaf. I think if dr. Louis slotin was alive he'd agree. 0 zJycj8c73sQ

1 year, 3 months ago @garymanuel4710 The Canadian health care is not that great, like most things you get what you pay for, even if our health care is free or said to be, but when you have to wait 6 months, with a appointment to see a Doc, or have to wait 15 or 20 hrs in some emergency room before you see a doc, is not good, & if you should see some doc you are scared they will tell you to take some over the counter medication & send you home, in fear you might die in next few hours, 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 3 months ago @tedingram516 As a Canadian I'd rather die than live in the US. CANADA ?? #1 0 O0gJtVar7_E

1 year, 3 months ago @Handsoflight7766 As a Canadian I’d move to Sweden or some other Northern Country or even a Southern Country way b4 going to USA. USA is too fake. It’s all about money rather than common sense. You don’t even care about health. Once you’ve known no paying healthcare you cannot go back. I was talking to an American friend who was looking at a $6000 bill for an emergency room quick visit. That doesn’t even make sense. I’m diabetic so He’ll no 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 3 months ago @Handsoflight7766 Been to USA and was terrified of getting sick or hurt the whole time I was there. Our healthcare is free. Everyone possibly carrying guns was a scary thought also. When I was 19 I went to ft lauderdale, scary as youth were falling off balconies from drunkenness and I got accosted (attempted recruitment). by I don’t know how many pimps. Someone tried to spike my drink at a bar; got my purse stolen with all my id. It was just one thing after another. It got scary and I couldn’t wait to leave. Everyone was playing a game. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
