2 years, 10 months ago @dianeryan7241 ABSOLUTELY NOT! PROUD CANADIAN! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @tanyaperrin8844 Not just Canadians, no one wants to move to the US! 0 O0gJtVar7_E

2 years, 10 months ago @LisaPrestonOnline I am Canadian. My boyfriend is American. We've been together for 15 years. I would never ever become American. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @cynthiacools-lartigue5297 Problem with many who move elsewhere they forget they have moved in the first place and then whine because they cannot have what they left behind. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @lindaewart5691 No. I would not move to the US couple things-my friends parents used to Winter in Scottsdale. When he needed surgery it would have cost over $100,000 to have it done in the US they went back to and all it cost was plane fare. Wasn't Uvalde a nice quiet small town? I don't think there is an elementary or High School in Canada where active shooter drills are conducted regularly or at al. Even the police forces in Florida and Texas have objected strenuously to the ridiculous relaxation of any kind of gun control. Used to be that Canadians often retired to the US to a warmer climate. But now as a pensioner on a fixed-income there's no way that I could afford Healthcare there. So I'll buy more long underwear and stay exactly where I am. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @earnesta.brooks7123 Tabernak is a swear word, mainly slang. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @OntarioAtOrion Even with insurance in the US, if you have a baby, you will be paying tens of thousands of dollars. In Ontario Canada where i live i paid zero dollars. What if someone with prexisting health issues tries to have insurance as an entrepreneur? God forbid they have a child or they will have a huge bill. Im sorry to say that its not as simple as you explained here. Ive heard of my American friends having theor childs broken arm denied by their employers insurance. They ended up owing 90 grand because their daughter fell on uneven ground doing a cartwheel on the grass. 2 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @haroldbernard3505 Kind and nice. You’d be surprised how many kind nice racists you run into. It’s the unfortunate situation where the kind nice people want to strip the rights of people they disagree with. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @PJ-Sparkles Canada is not a smaller version of the US trying to have the same policies as the US. We are a commonwealth country and align more with New Zealand, and other commonwealth countries who do not bully others. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @PJ-Sparkles Canadian here - I won’t even visit the US, and I live close to the border. So many Americans are frighteningly mentally unstable, carry a gun, and believe in looking out only for themself and don’t care about the well-being of others /society. So, hell no. Not ever. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @neilmakohoniuk3768 386 school shooting since Columbine - that is a real concern 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @neilmakohoniuk3768 not wanting go into such a key issue as abortion - says much, yes a touchstone issue however its a REAL concern for women to consider 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @margoburns9085 Children getting shot being something that actually happens is fuel enough for Canadians to not go to the States. I spent many years there when I was younger. Loved my experience, loved the friendly people. Then Trump came along and all he'll broke loose. You couldn't pay me to live there now. Very sad. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @colleenorrick5415 Not a chance! Gun violence and medical insurance. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @sharonclark-gamus4267 Disappointing you rushed over a respondent's feeling about the abortion issue in the US as it is completely on point. Health care costs are one thing (actually huge) but when you're forced to carry a fetus to term against your will (would any man?) that alone is why no woman would put her hand up to head to your neck of the woods - for her own sake and for that of her daughter's and any other female for that matter (Canadians tend to care about other people not just themselves). If you want to know why someone WOULD leave Canada for the US, it would likely be for family; or warmer weather...but at this point you guys are on fire and family can come visit us here. We are blessed here for so many reasons (fresh water, beautiful country, health care, freedom to choose, freedom to be gay or straight or whatever you are) and while my mom was American and I have cousins and even a nephew in Florida, and I used to love visiting my grandparents in Vermont and New Jersey as a kid, the whole landscape of the US has changed to one of in your face racism, hatred against women, the LGBTQ and everyone who is not caucasian, not to mention the whole gun business. You guys have lost any appeal whatsoever no matter how hard you crow about how great your country is. Everyone knows the truth about your history and the politically driven obsession to cover it up by attacking everything from books and what can be taught in schools. Just enough. 2 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @lsatenstein I am today a senior grandfather. I have spent much time in the USA, from Texas, New York, and out west in Ohio and California. I found the people I met and befriended and business partners to be as nice as Canadians. Most were generous in all ways. At some point, I thought about relocating, but...\n\nCanada had less money to offer as income, but considerably less expense. Nearly free university, a well educated population, a government not controlled by corporate money or interests. We have no right to have guns, though some of the well-to-do have hunting rifles. We do not live in fear if a stranger knocks on the door. We have government medical and prescription protection. Noone, repeat, has guns at home.\nRegarding prescription insurance, I pay a small fee per month ($30) and I have the government cover 80% of the cost. My kids, until age 18 were also covered for medication.\nUniversity at today cost is about $400/course plus $350/semister.\nDoctor visits are free, as well as hospital stays and surgery.\nThe average Canadian lifespan is 3-4 years more than the USA.\nThe cost of living is higher by 1/3 for food. Housing is about the same or slightly more, because we have winters and need to heat in winter and a/c in summer. Even so, electricity or gas is less expensive.\n\nSummary. With less money, we have a higher standard of living. 12 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @The6zero4 Children are not getting shot everyday? No you are correct but there are more school shootings in the US than any other place in the world. School shootings are not a “thing” anywhere else in the world. Your comment was completely inane 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @lml4075 I love your videos… you are a great guy. I share all the sentiments here. I concur….it’s a big fat NO! But I love my American friends. I feel sorry for them. America is going down the toilet! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @jetgirl4974 Move to Giliad? No way! Even living this close is unnerving.\nMove to USA pre-trump? Absolutely.. But no way, ever in southern states. Scary 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @gary-gx9iu Americans get health insurance through their jobs; that’s true. What happens when you get cancer, have years of treatment, lose your job and have to renew your health insurance? You decide whether you continue treatment and bankrupt your family or just quit treatment, fold your hands and go. \nA child born with lifelong care needs, entrepreneurs that develop diabetes and the complications that can result, or any other unexpected long term medical condition that insurance doesn’t cover or is a “preexisting condition “ that cancels your coverage. All that is never a concern in Canada. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @NickZethof Bear in mind too that moving to a small town to avoid violence then often means small town conservative politics and mindset. Which on its own is also a no 3 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @gary-gx9iu NO WAY!! I send my kids to school and don’t worry about them getting shot. My teenage daughter gets pregnant and I wouldn’t be bankrupt. \nIn Canada, there was a time when the federal government’s official opposition party had, as its platform the separation of one of our provinces out of the Canadian nation. That’s freedom of speech! That would never be tolerated in the USA. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @karendarel6281 You couldn't pay me enough to move there! I wish we had a wall along our border. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @lumsdelj No. Reproductive rights alone, would stop me. But my health issues and inability to work means the U.S would bankrupt/kill me. However lots of us Canadians accept that there are some really great people in the States and some truly beautiful places. I would love for things to be different, so that I could feel safe there. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @SSM_Bovadue If I had an opportunity to move from Northern Ontario to anywhere in the U.S. keeping my same job (or something similar to it) I would change citizenships. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @harlcc261 We've got McDs and Starbucks too !!\nWe also have the right to free health care. I barely wish to visit anymore let alone move there, lol. No friggin' way !! 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @tombutler4726 I lived in a small town in Oregon. It was a miserable experience. SOOOO glad we moved back to Canada! 4 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @SarahCampeau No, I’m not interested in visiting the us. Too many mass shootings. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @tsidi Small towns????? have you listened to the song by Jason Aldean TRY THAT IN A SMALL TOWN, God forbid if you are black, Asian, jewish, lgbtq Canada is not perfect but we try. Wait until your next election. 2024 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @tsidi have you watched the American videos on the knowledge that Generation Z knows? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @Keepingitrealtime I’d be homeless without Medicare. Republicans are crazy, and get nothing done! The intolerance to people who make different personal choices, the treatment of immigrants and black people. The behaviour is completely outrages, offensive, rude and unkind. Last but definitely not least is GUNS Guns! 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @PublisherGatineauHills Just watched a video about Gary, Indiana and I'm shocked. How do you let so much of your housing and infrastructure fall to pieces? Toxic capitalism. Gun culture. Rampant racism. When I realized that what I loved about America was a myth, I lost interest in living there. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @ThatDamnBozo I would buttttt….. Healthcare. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @electrosyzygy Small towns in the US have much higher crime rates and homicide rates than the larger cities. They aren't safe at all. Mass shootings are more frequent in small towns. Some American cities have roughly as many murders as Canada in it's worst year. It's not just the gun violence or mass shootings, it's the violence which permeates the entire environment, cities, schools, culture. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @scottk9359 Health Care\nDrive up the wrong driveway and getting shot.\nMass shootings\nNeighborhoods good and bad.\nCareful when driving. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @VeryAnnaBerry Why in God’s name would I ever want to do that?! ?? Canada is a civilized country. 24 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @cassieoz1702 My sister lives in USA but I give thanks, daily, that I DO NOT 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @hopefulmonsters4407 Consider this: You can get a whole bachelor's degree for the price of a single year in an American university. It's why there's a surprising number of American profs in Canadian schools. I'll never forget the American professor of political philosophy who argued that taxation and social programs were bad because they disincentivized charity. What a laugh! 3 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @blackcatchat What was that town in Texas where the school just got shot up and the police all stood outside in the halls and did nothing? Was that a big city? 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @jean-pierrecharland7168 I have not set foot on U.S. soil in forty years and have absolutely no intention of ever going again! I appreciate most American tourists, there are those that I'd push in front of a moving train. The propaganda, the gaslighting, the violence, the hatred... I despise what the USA represents now. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @blackcatchat Maybe they are nice to you because you are a white man? 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @lydiabuhler7283 I laugh at you saying it hasn’t affected you. You do realize it just takes one person to walk into the mall you walk into and start shooting right??? To hear you say that is insane. Hearing about the mass shootings and the rest of the shit that goes on there I don’t even want to step foot in the USA. And btw really scary the power American border guards have and what they can get away with. My number one reason why I will not ever step foot into this country again 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @alexcarr8503 We are going to build a great wall and have the US pay for it!!!!. You have Trump, we dont. We are full don't send any people north. I would like to visit the south for just 2 months. January and February. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @taylaca Imagine a country where the people have the right to own bombs and, in many places, the right to carry bombs around in public. The people believe that this is an inalienable human right and will refuse to hear any argument against it. There are more bombs than there are people in this country. Sounds terrible, right? This is how ridiculous and horrifying America's gun culture looks to people from other countries where guns being around just isn't a thing. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @annmariemccann2497 I am from Saskatchewan. I have been to 16 states. I would like to see more. I think I will continue living in Saskatchewan. One reason, not the only reason is we get free medical care. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @jklinders With all your mass shootings, it's madness that you are not bothered by them. When people move, they move to where the work is. That means living in cities with all the good and bad that has. It's nice that you can pick and choose where you live like a buffet but most people do not have that luxury. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @jts-x5k Not a chance! As a 74 yr old with pre-existing conditions, I would not spend winters in Florida or Arizona! I am shocked at stories about living in the US from my former classmates of the 1960s about the many big issues they have to deal with ,I would never ever move to the US. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 10 months ago @runninghorse4074 No am Canadian. I like it here….mMy friend s are snow birds Canada in summer and winter in the US…our health care is good…have to have good people there…yes health coverage is important …we had violence in school shooting also….would like to visit and see the place sometimes..only went once over the border..interesting video 0 O0gJtVar7_E
