2 years, 1 month ago @thathrguy In Quebec they swear against the church. English Canada swear against sex, like americans 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @charliekim5313 I won't even visit the USA.. They are off their nut down there. And the nuts have guns. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @stephenr6913 I think Uvalde(sp?) Texas is a small town. The reference to dressing kids carefully for school might not refer to armored back packs. At the school shooting in the above town one little girl's body could only be identified by the design on her sneakers. Ponder all that implies..... 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @gregmarando8962 Have met some of the most friendly, welcoming, generous, psychiatric patients to be found. Thanks for letting visit, and leave safely. 2 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 1 month ago @anastasiadaunan3751 That healthcare from private insurance can be cut out anytime and pre-authorized for every little things. Medicine and treatmant 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @shanepye7078 Yep. When my son was born, he had to stay in the NICU for a few months.\nThe nurses corresponding with some American nurses were telling me that if I were there, my bill would be in the hundreds of thousands.\nThe stay of my ex, the birth, my sons stay, the nurses time, equipment and things like diapers ect. It’s insane that people start their lives like that.\nHere in Canada, I paid nothing. 0. 2 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 1 month ago @glennboyd766 I, as a Canadian, would only start to consider moving to the US if I could earn 3x my current income ! 21:48 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @BorealisNights Do have a listen to Eric Church, stick that in your country song. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @KadeRiley-hq8gc America is a good place to live. I have visited a number of places in the USA and it's a free first world country with alot of fun and cool places to see and do. Just like every country in the world there are positives and negatives. I think that the health care is majorly flawed in America. Health insurance is too expensive for the average person and if you get really sick and don't have health insurance in America you are probably going to die. I also don't like that there is no gun control and way to many murders and violence in the USA. Those are the 2 biggest problems that make me not want to live there. 2 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 1 month ago @jayjonesrgaming In my experience, the only ppl I’ve ever known to say they would to move to America are far-right Canadians and/or the intense conspiracy theorists 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @Adendum82 I paid $0 CDN to birth my sons into this world. And the hospital and aftercare was fantastic. Now moms or dads get 18 months maternity leave from work, in Ontario. I love this country, we just get some things right. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 1 month ago @bienespinagarcia1196 MAGA is so strong and they are all nuts 4 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 1 month ago @johncarter1852 I am American and i would rather be Canadian. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @bienespinagarcia1196 I had colon cancer and I had to have surgery then chemo. If I was in the U.S. I would have died because I was not willing to sell my house to survive 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 1 month ago @Fujoshi13 See that the thing with Canada You Do Not Need to be Strategic to live in Canada. Everywhere in Canada small town, big Cities (pick any) is safer, LGBTQ+ are the same as straight, treated equally, no guns, we are not racist, abortion is legal everywhere.... Name it, everything is better in Canada. The true meaning of freedom is Canada. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @Fujoshi13 Tabarnak in French means Fu*k 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @Fujoshi13 You have Hollywood, Amusement Park and Disney World??? So no I'm confirming that it's not a thing. We also have amazing Amusement Park. We don't need superficial Hollywood and Disney World is a dream land for kids that costs thousands. No we are good without those. \nI did live in the US for 4 years and I was miserable. It was not my choice to go, I followed my husband. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @sherriemitchell3892 What you said about politics It's true in Canada also now.Since covid before we could talk now we can't 2 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 1 month ago @MyHeatedStance That’s the thing…. In Canada, you don’t have to be strategic about where you move. Most places are welcoming. We still have some racism and issues, but I know many people of different colours and cultures that have never experienced racism in Canada. We allow others to practice whatever religion you want, as long as you don’t hurt other people. We don’t unalive each other over religion or politics. To a Canadian, the United States is not a first world country. It’s where you go to lose your rights and freedoms. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @iRallHeart I wont even cross the border for vacation anymore. The violence and politics make it a dangerous place for many people. Even with traveler's medical insurance i would be worried about getting sick or injuried there. Also some places my human rights would be infringed upon 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @damystery123 I'd say that there are a fair number of conservative Canadians who wouldn't mind living in the USA, or people who are rich enough that they could steer clear of a lot of the issues. However, I think most Canadians would list a European country as their first choice if things were going bad in Canada. We also have a lot of asian-canadians who would possibly also list an asian country as their first choice since they would already know the language. But yeah, USA is definitely not a first choice for I'd say 50-75% of Canadians. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @grayross3137 Does he not know that American has some of the most school shooting globally? Like they get more school shootings than days in the year I know at least once 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 1 month ago @michaelmastervick6067 Meat a ton of great americans, but the way to proud racists crapy ones make me sick and being the US have way more people means way more of them horrific types i just couldn't tolerate. Sorry to the majority that are descent people. But those horrific ones i speak of also cary guns so no thanks. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 2 months ago @jasonme493 I'm Canadian, we need a wall too... ?? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 2 months ago @NotSorryCA They paid more out of pocket in Canada because if they are not Canadian residents, they are not covered. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @NotSorryCA I have very wealthy cousins who moved to the US for work, and I'm trying to talk them into moving back to Canada, but because of health issues, they prefer to stay in the US because of the availability to them due to their financial status. I understand that, but I still prefer our universal system. 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @NotSorryCA When I gave birth, we paid 10.00 for parking. That was it. 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @jdalain4693 I don't want to be rude but no Canadien would like to go live in the US. Gun, violence, Trump, Biden, culture, mentality...... 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 2 months ago @eartraffic I am American born. Came to Canada in 1981 after marrying a Cdn girl. Also, I became a Canadian in 1989, holding on to two citizenships. Fast forward 20 years, and divorce finally showed up. I moved back Stateside when my brother had his 2nd heart attack, to help him with every day things. I was there 10 years before finally moving back to Canada. I knew I would always move back to Canada anyway. Life is just less stressful here. Less to worry about. No fighting for retirement like so many do in the USA for their Social Security for example. No fighting for disability if you need that here. Concerns like that are well looked after in Canada, helping to make sure everyone can live a reasonable standard and quality of life without a battle to do so. The social structure is safer as well. No big gun issues. In the States, I had a reaction to ALEVE which forced me into hospital. 7 hours in, and 5,000 later, I was released. 700 for the EMT ride as well. 1/2 mile ride. In 2017, I had a mild heart attack in Canada. 7 days in. MRI's and every other test you can imagine was done. My total bill was 49 .00. That was for parking, as I drove myself the few blocks to the hospital. It was the only time I had to be in hospital in the 30 years i've been in Canada and I was thankful that we all pitch in to take care of each other with out healthcare. The USA is fine for some but it's no Canada :) 76 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @ashleyeldorado7750 Religious racist fusion, sounds like some kind of experimental restaurant. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 2 months ago @dudedumont Food? In the US? Overly chemical, fat and processed. Canada has a way wider variety of foods, meals, cheese, etc. Way better. A bit more expensive but way better quality! 2 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @muddywolfking Okay .... until you lose your job. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 2 months ago @BlancGivre French Canadian here, living in Austin, TX. Lived in Jacksonville, FL before, as well as Charlotte, NC and Cleveland, OH. I've known from a very yougn age that I wanted to live in the US. I like life in the US better. Canada is a great place to sleep if you'll pardon the expression. The only thing I miss from Canada is the simplicity of the healthcare compared to the US. Everything else is better in the US (the places where I've lived at least). Healthcare is excellent in the US but the billing of the healthcare is a nightmare compared to the simplicity of it in Canada.\n\nCanadians' opinions about the US are VERY OFTEN exagerated, it's a fact. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @jefffisher2690 Its probably somewhat universal that a lot of the police think they are the law. Can you imagine how many people were fasly charged with a crime before body cams and cell phones. 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @jefffisher2690 As a Canadian I highly recommend to all Canadians do not cheap out on health insurance when going south of the border. 5 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @jefffisher2690 Tabernak means F the church 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 2 months ago @jefffisher2690 I live pretty close to Montana and spent alot of time there and was shocked to see that every road sign had 40 plus bullet holes in it. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 2 months ago @jefffisher2690 There was a mass migration to Canada from the USA in the late 60's early 70's due to the Vietnam war. Were I grew up in British Columbia small town 50% roughly were Americans most here illegally and are still here today. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 2 months ago @alwynemcintyre2184 Don't get cancer in the US hello bankrupty 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @alwynemcintyre2184 Yeah social safety would be all the services supplied by the government 0 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @bryanabbott6169 The US is still sending their citizens up to Canada to buy drugs here. If they really care about their citizens, they should get off their duffs and cut the drug patent time down in half (from 10 years down to 5 for generic medicines could be made).\n\nWith US citizens scooping up pharmaceuticals here, it ends up raising up the price in Canada as availability takes a hit. 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @manfredlurz5521 Too many stupid people with guns 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 2 months ago @jocelynebordage9907 A cousin of mine, a tenured university professor, and her husband, a professional hockey player (NOT the NHL), about 4 years ago now.... After BOTH their insurances had paid what they could, they were left with a $16,000 hospital bill. 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @janetgage867 One of the biggest mistakes made in the USA is not having residential space in their downtown areas. Downtown tends to be business only and the place becomes a ghost town at night so for tourists staying near downtown is scary to go out for the evening but should you stay in the suburbs where there are lots of restaurants then you need a car as public transit is sketchy. 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @janetgage867 I have seen abject poverty in many American states 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @janetgage867 In the USA treatment in the Emergency is reasonably quick because people there don't go to Emergency for minor things as opposed to Canada people go to Emergency for the sniffles, sprained toe etc 2 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @bp2613-w5p Also our healthcare does not cover dental, Rx or vision. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 2 months ago @bp2613-w5p Healthcare is not free!!!! We are taxed heavily for it. I do believe its cheaper if you buy blue cross. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 2 months ago @jaywinner328 Sounds about right. America has milder weather and is just fine if you're loaded. Oh and cheap booze; Canada taxes the shit out of that. 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 2 months ago @CarmelBragg-nx2gu No thanks? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
