2 years, 5 months ago @daveb6470 Canadians live the American dream 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 5 months ago @Elise1952 I am a Canadian who has a friend who lives in Texas. She is strongly political. I tell her most Canadians don’t talk or care that much about politics. \nI am grateful for our Health care system. \nI find Canadians more quiet and laid back than Americans. \nI don’t like the gun laws in the States. \nLove your channel. It’s nice to get an American’s opinion. You are such a good sport too. ?? 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 5 months ago @roadtrip808 American here im moving up to Canada ive lived in the US my whole life its fn sick in the US 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 5 months ago @darlenelim8972 I question American food being of high quality as a lot is banned in other countries because it contains chemicals that aren't meant for human consumption. I couldn't imagine living in the US when something as simple as children going to school is so stressful because of the school shootings. Over 630 mass shootings just so far this year. It would be a hard no, absolutely not for me. I won't even go there to visit. I have family members who have lived there for decades and I'm afraid they are now just as uninformed as millions of Americans. Especially the ones who were 'educated' there. 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 5 months ago @getsome2084 Dis is a saying we have here in newfoundland for you to try and read. Some smarnin dis marnin. if it like dis mar marnin, goin be some smarnin mar marnin 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 5 months ago @marcy3098 Guns freak me out so no thanks 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @alsinakiria There were more mass shootings in 2023 than days of the year. Like, almost double the numbers of days in a year. The US is seen as 'safe' only in comparison to active war zones and military dictatorships. By every metric in the developed world for safety, education, Healthcare the US is lacking. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @alsinakiria I've seen Americans with health insurance be charged hundreds of thousands of dollars because the company decided they wouldn't pay for the hosting they were taken to or one doctor on the team. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @jackhoek2811 Tomorrow, if I could get a green card 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @maureenhanaway1449 Tyler, love your series on Canada. Could you do one for me? Welcome to Winnipeg: Canada's best kept secret. Thank-you lived there for 45 years 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 6 months ago @shaynekin I would definitely move to the US. Way easier to be a criminal. I'd be set for life. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @zingpulse4138 Canadian health care is good for the basic things but if the poop hits the fan and your condition is more serious America with insurance wins. If they diagnose you with a tumor in let's say May the give you a prescription to slow it's growth and maybe they can pencil you in for October to remove it (real story). Over the last 2 years thousands of Canadians have taken the Government option of doctor assisted suicide. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 6 months ago @jl6757 Come to Canada you won't leave. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @mariev3821 Laredo tx has is the most litigous county in north america. However min motor liability in tx is 30k per person max 60k for bodily injury with 25k for property damage\n\nAs a canadian insurance broker....that fact right there would drive me absolutely bonkers...to work in my field in the usa...let alone all the other mentioned reasons 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @joelpritchard451 I would never ever pay 140 Canadian dollars to get 100 dollars us 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @joelpritchard451 Would we move to the USA NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @StephFish1004 Can't say I'm surprised with the answers, most Canadians I know wont even vacation in America anymore, the situation is just too volatile. My family used to try and do a trip to Disneyland every couple years but their last trip ended coincidentally the day after Trump got in office...haven't even thought about going back since. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @marcy3098 I've just started watching your videos. Love them! Have you done one on Americans who have moved to Canada and what their thoughts are? 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 6 months ago @mrrajsingh Children ARE being shot in school on a daily basis. There are over 306 school shootings already for 2023 and the year isn't over, but students don't go to school year round, so its more than 1shooting per school day for certain. Students only have school between 160 and 180 days per year so that is almost 2 school shootings per day. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @slowdown6436 Im Canadian and I think the US is awesome. I have a handful of friends that moved south and they all love it there. Long ago my grandparents wintered in Florida and they LOVED it. Sure you have more crime but you have a hell of a lot more people so that's a wash in my book. We've visited and always enjoyed your country and people. Canada has changed drastically over the last decade, and not for the better. I really don't see a big difference. My 2 cents 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @ts4743 Interesting to see why they won't come here 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @tobiegosling7147 I agree with parents being uneasy with sending their children to school , people out- house bat crazy can buy guns with no problem . Our health care is much better and our education is by far superior. American coffee is disgusting and their beer tastes like its been filtered through a horse . O CANADA I STAND ON GUARD FOR THEE .......... 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @mikedoherty7224 4:56 big time wrong, if you get a major illness and are insured your best chances of survival is in the states; our Healthcare is fine for basics but if you get cancer you will die waiting in line; if you tell an ER that if they discharge you that you will unalive yourself, they will do just that. When your health care is being paid for and by extension decided upon by a government body who keeps the budget in mind, thing can get very dark..\n\nSpeaking from people I know and knew personally.. Seriously, taking responsibility into your own hands may be more cumbersome, possibly even more expensive, but it is in YOUR hands 0 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 6 months ago @dereksinclair2960 As a Canadian, I would not move to the states. But that being said I would love to spend a lot more time visiting state side. My GF is a US citizen but she want to move here to Canada while her children want to stay state side. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @gingasnapz It would be interesting to see how the Americans who moved to Canada feel about Canada. i would love to hear that 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 6 months ago @stickmanwelding Yes can we move alberta to usa? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @jameslewis2635 There is a problem with the suggestion of moving to a small town - I believe Columbine was a small town with no history of school shootings before the one at the local high-school there (which is world famous because of the shooting) carried out by two boys with guns. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @internalcombustion641 Nope don't want to get shot or pack a gun, news flash we have McDonalds and Starbucks here. At 15:32 its Vancouver Island NOT Victoria Island. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @naMnivraM Ya. I have McDs and Starbucks... And Health Care... Although I envy your climate, Ill take the Health Care! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @charlespapps2389 Good topic, No. Most americans are either mindless sheep or violent wolves. I would NEVER move there. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @jasjaswal4649 I am born in Canada and love the USA.I would love to move there someday. Every year I go on vacation there with my family. The best parts of USA is that its so much more beautiful then Canada, Groceries restaurants clothes electronics stuff is cheaper there, there are more things to do there then Canada, the cities I go to in USA pay more minimum then Canada and most cities there don't have snow or even cities that do get snow don't get cold anywhere near as Canada in Winter. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @corssecurity I think if patients saw how much it actually costs to vist a hospital emergency room they would be able to compare US costs to Canadian costs.\nCanadian health thought bills the provincial health insurance plan.\nRun by the government.\nAll in costs, not itemizing.\nThis province, registration, triage (insured) is $1800.\nBeing seen by the physician is $3000 more.\nAssigned a bed, $5,000.\nUninsured triple the amounts.\nThe communist model is you never see a paycheck\nYou get an allotment of stamps in a passbook.\nYou stand in line for hours to get the stamp in your book.\nOnce you have your stamps you can stand in line for your food allowance.\nIf there's any left by the time you get to counter.\nBut it's free.\nRight? 0 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 6 months ago @InsaneHunter01 Your US health plan only cover's certain Doctors. at certain hospitals. Deviate form those hospitals and or doctors, will force you to pay out of pocket. As a person with a medical chronic condition, I say NO!!! Would never move to the US!!!! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @kimmyb8276 As an American living in Canada, I will never move back. Yes there are issues in Canada but the US of today is NOTHING like how I grew up and I am sad to see how far we have fallen 3 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 6 months ago @GenerationJonesi I have relatives in the Colorado & Nevada. Driving down the highway we had a guy pull a gun out because we passed him. He, & we, had kids in the car & he's yelling his head off & waving his gun around. Yikes! I like visiting, but, wouldn't want to live there. 4 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 6 months ago @MisconceivedPancit Speaking as a Canadian Filipino, I find it interesting that more and people would rather move to the Philippines than move to the United States.???? Consider through American attitudes...who, although those that have no morals... wouldn't want to move to the United States. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @ambrosia5356 Ok I have to say this. You’re saying Toronto wrong. We say it Toronno. Second t is silent. It’s how we pick out Americans abroad lol 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 6 months ago @armadhillo Abortion rights are an important part of the discussion and it felt like you disregarded the concern of women in this video... feels really dismissive tbh just because you dont have to deal with it doesn't make it an unimportant topic. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @ambrosia5356 While you probably don’t want to make a video about it, look up our school shootings stats and you’ll find we’ve had less then ten ever in our history. And that’s using the same stats that give you dozens to hundreds per year. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 6 months ago @Etienne-pb3pt It's funny because I'm from Montreal Canada and about the police visibility I was kind of the impression it was the other way around.\n\nMe and a friend went to Boston in September 2019 we both really enjoy it's lovely feels safe really clean.\n\nBUT VS Montreal not so many patrolling police cars in fact in 72 hours downtown Boston I saw only 2 police cars in downtown Montreal it's 1 every hour or less. 2 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 6 months ago @crazedblade2585 well im gonna make a fair point here... im 28 , i can count im my hands how many school there was in canada since im born ... usa has 389 since columbine... do i need to elaborate ?! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 7 months ago @chris_tine1430 I dont think its normal to have to pay 3000$ to give birth either ???? 0 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 7 months ago @muddywolfking I won't even VISIT. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 7 months ago @mayloo2137 I'm over 60, on a limited income. There is no way I would survive in the US. And at least here, you're not likely to go bankrupt because of high medical costs. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 7 months ago @elainecloutier2764 A friend off mine lived there . She ended up with over 2 million in dept, they were making her feel terrible so she took her life. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 7 months ago @zbret Like you, I know someone happy with their job, location, medical care and opportunities, but they are also very uncomfortable with the political situation - I'll just say it - Republicans. You need only look at Trump and its followers. Guns over lives (including kids), billionaires over poor, religion over others' freedoms (gay/trans/abortion, etc), mass spread of misinformation (Fox news, OAN, etc) and a personal selfishness and anger which was made very clear during COVID times. It makes them feel like they are walking on eggshells, at least compared to Canada where they lived before and people would look out for each other more (even if they didn't know them). They like the weather, job, opportunities, the USD buying power, and their friends, among many other things, but it just feels excessively risky to them dealing with the combinations of these things. I can completely understand why they and others might want to leave the US. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 7 months ago @pennieottawa5151 Tyler you show your true American nature when you mention school shootings didn’t affect you! If it happened in Canada it would affect the entire population. In not an individual thing it’s collective in Canada. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 7 months ago @NotSorryCA In the US, it seems it is way more difficult to elevate yourself if you are born to a poor family. In Canada, there seems to be more equality in that respect, in that if you are from a low income family, there is still a chance to get ahead. 1 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 7 months ago @NotSorryCA Is the guy who moved to Seattle paying more in Canada because he no longer resides in Canada and does not have Canadian HC converage? 0 zJycj8c73sQ
2 years, 7 months ago @NotSorryCA My Canadian friend had to mortgage her house, to help her American sister pay her hospital bills. 1 zJycj8c73sQ
