2 years, 11 months ago @MrBrad9 Sorry no.\nhealthcare, political nonsense, violence, guns, poor education system, mass shootings, racism, religious zealots. (yes we have racism, political and religious crazies, but not to the extremes the USA has). That being said I am friends with American folks and they are wonderful. There's good natured ribbing between us. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @susancarter9504 Wow your gun laws r soooooo relaxed, that u don’t realize how bad and fearful it is 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @teklarmeeps7338 The USA has a lot more job opportunities, cheaper food and many neat places to visit. A degree goes a lot farther South of the 49. Lots of Canadians live in both nations. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @danielj9374 Primary cause of death of children in the US is getting shot with a gun. Don't take my word for it, look it up. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Staronqueen There are no safe areas in the USA. Don’t make it out to believe that an area is better than the other because there is wealth or class or ethnicity. The rich people have guns and the poor people have guns in every state and corner of the country. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Eagle-rv3iy I have crohns disease and needed surgery and a 2 week hospital stay already so unless i want to go bankrupt im staying in canada 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @BlossomBlendFibres We moved from Canada to WA and after many years we moved back. Healthcare was fantastic in US but so many things your insurance will say are or are not covered. People very friendly. I miss the shopping in US such a great selection! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @stevester9148 All the Canadians I know that want to emigrate to the US make 6 figures a year, go figure... 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @susancarter9504 Would not move 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @susancarter9504 My health care costs $40 a month, that’s provincial coverage whic is free and my private covers me for everything 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @brunobandiera2062 Well, I would love to move to SoCal, except for... Green Card, drought, guns, health care, MAGA, guns, mass shootings, drugs, racism, and guns. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @TheWarawaj It would have to be for a boat load of money with the knowledge I would leave as soon as I was ready to. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @FBall-im8ui Great place the USA JUST DON'T TURN INTO TH WRONG DRIVEWAY OR you will get shot, I used to have my sailboat there and cottage on the beach in MA WHEN 911 hit the border guards and the people started going nuts, I haven't returned since and I have 2 sisters living there, and everything is politics and lots and lots of hate , you're on the same team and still hate each other. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @bobhastings6464 How are ya?\nHey I’m from Canada and absolutely love your comments . I appreciate how you keep an open mind. Keep up the great videos \nCheers\nBob 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @CurriedBat I've certainly given thought to moving to the United States. Washington had some beach-front homes for around 450k... I also considered buying an acreage in California to start a wildlife rehab for endangered desert dwelling antelope. Turns out poop from animals that don't eat much is a pretty good way to reduce desertification... or at least I was willing to try. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @cam1641 US?? Weather is better and better opportunities in certain fields. That's it. Other than that no way. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @SplishSplashdash Every year 19,000 children in the U.S are shot and killed. There are 365 days in a year, so kids are being shot every day. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @missangiee66 Was an absolute NO for me most of my life until Justin Trudeau came along and if the opportunity presented itself I would of jumped on it until Biden but if it came down to it I think I would move to USA. People here think the health care is great but it's not and it's getting worse and I've seen the care deteriorate over the decades. If you want true medical care you pay a private health practitioner. I actually like that Americans have the right to defend themselves and carry a firearm. Canadians today have been so gaslighted and I think that is the reason for a lot of the negative responses because when winter hits they flock in droves to the US. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @squarepegroundhole1450 Small quiet town... like Newtown? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @7693075 It's interesting you don't feel that fun violence is a big thing in the US, when there's been more mass shootings than days in the year in 2023. Maybe Canadians are bombarded with news about this violence and somehow these shootings aren't broadcast to you in the same manner? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @lo_fye You don’t get it, man. To get health care, I walk into the hospital. I don’t even need ID. No job necessary. Even the homeless get cared for. $0 premiums. $0 fees. Free as in free. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @bernadettetaylor881 I have lived in the US as travelling Nurse. Health insurance and education are sub par. No reason to live there. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @shirleycrispin8912 I never want to move down in United States first of all they don't have free healthcare they don't have free medication while some medication and their food does not taste like ours I've tried their Pizza Hut that I found was totally disgusting they're McDonald's was totally different also lots of flies in this in the restaurant around where they make the hamburgers and that they're washing very filthy women's washroom overpopulated and you never know when you're walking on the street when you're going to get killed by a gun at least where I live it's a slower pace it's starting to become crazy with the homeless and people that like to make trouble but they're still not that much guns because we don't allow it it's more safe we can still walk on the streets without anything happening happening even at night where I live it's a slower pace the air quality is also better it's not muggy as much as the states a lot of places people here are more friendly but just like it here I was born here 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @debbiemassicotte9201 Typical American scans over the controversial parts 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @biffstrong1079 That is a discussion that has needed to happen for a long long time. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @archstanton2055 If it wasn't for being married with children, I would have moved to the freest place in North America, Florida. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @davidkillens8143 I have a skilled trade, a job waiting and a sponsor. I declined because I do not want to live in the US. Yes, I have many friends south of the border and enjoy any cheap items. But overall, the lifestyle does not suit me.\nWhy does a US citizen assume that their nations is the place everyone wants to move to?\nIn Canada I have everything I desire, and more than can be offered in the US. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @terrizylawy4334 As a born and raised Canadian. I am considering moving to the states, Canada is a sinking ship and there is no sign of things getting any better. The only thing stopping me right now is the crime rate. Crime is MUCH higher in the states. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @KillerSniper55 There are a lot of people up here jump to the shootings as a reason and as much as there is gun violence down there, we aren’t better. I live in Surrey and people are shot every day here. Not to mention our knife crime and random killings are getting out of control.\n\nWe also have to take in to account that Reddit is primarily left leaning which I think if you’re left leaning you wouldn’t want to leave but I think the United States attracts more conservatives.\n\nCanada is not doing better on a lot of things policy wise. We are being torn apart by our current prime minister. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @mikesablarry The way Canada is these day, I would move to USA Tomorrow! 0 O0gJtVar7_E

2 years, 11 months ago @bruster46 are you fucking kidding me. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @cynthiajones9540 I am 57 and have had kidney disease since birth. I never cost my parents a dime for my illness, surgeries etc. I have 5 dos on my team now and still no cost to me beside my income taxes! My husband was American, and the only cost we had after a 370 days of cancer was the one to cremate him. 4 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @dranon0o I'm Canadian\nSome comments are worry about woman rights while woke individuals are already destroying women identity AND rights\nWe have Trudeau that is destroying the entire economy and make life VERY difficult \nLet say I would also choose Canada.... but it's the lesser EVIL 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @brendavalcheff8127 .Noooooooooooooo lol 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @looneygardener You are used to guns. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @looneygardener I feel too afraid to even visit the USA 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @jacqueliner283 The number one cause of death for children living in the US is guns. This is per the US CDC. Canadians and citizens of other developed countries are shocked with the gun situation in the US. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @andrewmurphy9423 We just don’t want to be invaded! Pretty cool spot to live 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @joshuawesten8300 During Covid the Canadian government started cutting into our basic human rights and some of us wanted to move to the US where rights and freedom are more respected or maybe it’s the fact that everyone has at least three guns and you can’t start taking away peoples rights when their armed it didn’t end up working out, but then the truckers came and fixed thing’s 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @cathyriach1285 American culture? Oxymoron 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @johnthom3342 I'd move to the Alaskan Panhandle but nowhere else in US. Its just a short ferry ride back to Canads for medical issues. I like the US second amendment. Alaska is spsrsely populared like Canads and I hate crowds. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Rev.DavidJTowns The best thing that could ever happen for Canada is if the USA took them over and joined as 1 large country! GOD Bless 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @sheilathomas5371 There have been 288 school shootings in the USA in 2023 (and its only July) 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @LouismarieBelanger Tyler, I hope that you'll comment on what I have just written. Have a good meditation... A friend from Québec city. ???? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @LouismarieBelanger During Independance war, it was vital that citizens being armed because the new born government didn't have budget to armed it's citizen soldiers. That's simple as that. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @LouismarieBelanger On the gun issue, I'm not sure that american people really understand the second Amendment. With a 7B $ Armed forces budget and the fact that Indepedance war againts Britain is over for more than 200 years there is no need anymore for the 2nd Amendment. In Canada, we don't have any equivalent article in our Constitution and I'm very happy about it. Some people should meditate on the subject. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @lucyloojones2779 I live within 100 miles of the border…that’s close enough for me! 1 O0gJtVar7_E
