2 years, 11 months ago @andrewphilips2457 Why would you move from a country that's rated top 3 every Year for best countries in The world to live, and go to a place that's not even top 10 and has highest gun deaths and incarceration rates per capita in the WORLD. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Msmayberry55 As sad as this is, in America the stats actually proove you wrong , as every single day in America there are now 2 MASS SHOOTINGS ..many times more then 2 a day…it used to be 1 every single day….but now it’s at LEAST 2 MASS SHOOTINGS EVERY DAY IN AMERICA…..many of which as you know are SCHOOL SHOOTINGS.\n\nI was disgusted when it reached 1 Mass shooting everyday a couple of years back….the fact that the stat has only risen and one entire Political party is BEHIND IT…IS REVOLTING…THE AMERICAN PEOPLE NEED TO VOTE THE MAGGAT REPULSIVE PARTY OUT OF POWER FOR GOOD. America could be like Canada if they actually gave the Democrats actual majority power in America and if they stopped the VAST GERRYMANDERING, VOTER SUPPRESSION and FEAR MONGERING of the Repulsive party. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @vitalucas9452 Tab berrr knack!\nShort for Tabernacle, it's a common term used in frustration in Quebec.\nIt insults the Catholic church, yet I found most of the French speaking people that I spoke to and asked about this were actually Catholic. It puzzled me. Like being frustrated and insulting their own beliefs. \nNo, sorry, I am happy to live in Canada and visit my friends and family there. \nYou have so many fabulous things to be proud of as an American. I have seen most of the states and would love to do it over again. I have met many, many wonderful and warm decent people there.\nBUT irresponsible gun ownership, mass shooting increasing to the point that other countries are recommending that people not visit the US!!A country divided politically and violently by ignorance of the minority, and allowing people to lose their houses when they lose their health? And women dying from poor pregnancy outcomes although predicted by their doctors....And the gay right thing, and school curriculum foolishness going on in Florida? I'm glad I visited Florida so many times before that craziness. Yey more people keep moving there. 31 million now! Why? I hate the heat an hour and a half above the border! And hurricanes! And massive tornadoes. And Malaria now!\nCome up to Canada. Bring your family too. It's safer. Less people equals less danger.\n\nKeep on keeping on! ❤ 3 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Dragonkrux I crossed the border into Buffalo ALOT growing up and I gotta say, you remind me of the proverbial frog in boiling water. Your country has changed, to the point where my family never bothered to get nexus passes or passports to cross over when those were requirements. My sister got hers to travel to Japan... still has not crossed over. The things we used to go to do there are still there but the whole vibe, experience and culture has shifted so much it feels like a totally different country from 30... even 15 years ago. Do I want to travels to the states? Sure but most of the people need to leave first. 12 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @bettymorgan4735 At one time it was considered. Not now. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @philip1065 I would love to move to US but unfortunately I do not have a career that’s in high enough demand down there to get a green card, and I’m already married so that’s not an option….need to win lotto so I can invest 500k into US business and employee people I guess? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @trevorlsheppard7906 A Tabernacle in Wales is building where religious services/worship are held . 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @oilerfreak Skipping the fetus position, shows you are a chicken to admit one of the the biggest faults of the USA. I do not take this video as seriously and you are kind of mocking us by not addressing the obvious. At least you are brave enough to talk about gun culture and killing kids in schools. You show me the small American towns that are BLUE and not RED. They are rare. Check out your last electoral map. Also we (our family of four) agree, we have decided to NEVER travel to the US for holidays again. Let alone ever live there. We would actually pick Jamaica or Fiji over any of your sunbelt states. O Canada!!! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @alsheppard7067 I am English, I live in the US. The religion, politics, healthcare and racists are evident everyday. Healthcare is part of my employment package, I have paid thousands out of pocket, even with that coverage. I think you are not looking to deep! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @johnnytoronto1066 The USA is free while Canada is rapidly becoming a third world slave state. If you're enterprising, Canada's governments will crucify you. Move to one of the red states: Idaho, Texas, Florida. Avoid the Democrat states for sure. And get a gun. Live free or die. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @jennienoppers210 You live in a town where was no schooldhooting yet?\ncongrats and enjoy the time! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @robertchartrand837 Recent poll - Canada ranked 5th after 4 Scandinavian countries as the best country to live in - USA came 29th. America suffering from terminal HATE and GREED. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @ScottMorgan88 In French-Canada, unlike France, most swear words are religiously based. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @toma9976 Lived there, the US has gotten worse since. Have you seen the trump rallies and MAGA interviews? The country is becoming very hateful. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Elizabeth-mp6tr Sorry. I'd never move to the US and I'm considering my options to not travel for vacations either. Canada is breathelessly beautiful. I'm following your political situations closely, and I am flabbergasted at how the GOP treat fellow Americans. I hope for you guys. 40 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @dangervais2328 No way U upset someone you run the risk of being shot in the back of your head 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @gabrielcamire1760 As a Canadian I visited Germany and Poland but never went to Usa, I dont see any reasons to go there. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @mightymissk The States is wonderful in many ways, but the your private health care system is dreadful. People die because their HMOs tell Americans what diagnostic tests they can or cannot afford. I read that one in four US families go bankrupt because of huge medical bills NOT covered by their insurance. Also the gun situation would give most Canadians pause. In Canada, only hunters, trappers, remote forest workers and cops carry guns. Last but not least: the right wing MAGA goons terrorizing people for flying Pride flags freak me out. Canada is a free country. We have bigots and thugs here too — but they don’t run the show the way they do in so many places in the States. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @barbhusband941 NO WAY had the offer to move great job but the medical and education is a no go. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @myrawillis6829 When I was young, late 50's early 60's, I was jealous of people living in the US. We'd go to my Dad's professional conferences in various areas and everyone seemed to drive such expensive cars and live in such big houses. Now I know that's just window dressing. You have to look at what's underneath. I didnt see the poverty and the racism. Canada unfortunately has people who would like to take Canada down the same road as the US. We have good medical care, a social net, respect human and reproductive rights, attempt to keep religion out of politics, gun control (a pro hunter here!) , fair school funding (the whole province, not just district), and the list could go on. Is it perfect? No but its a whole lot better than the US. We Canucks just need to keep fighting for improvements and it isnt an American model for most of them. \nWe had always planned to take holidays and see various parts of the US. No more. The lack of gun laws is really scary, especially when combined with hate. We're not timid travellers. \n\nMove there... maybe California . 3 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @LoudSilences Your reaction makes me laugh. There's a ton of crap going on in Canada right now, none of it good, but I'd still rather stay here. There are tons of quiet and beautiful areas here and it's just easier I think. 5 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @phoarey The United States of Moronica elected Trump and nearly half of voters are trying to again. Enough reason never to consider visiting there. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Lixourio I am from Quebec City and I love my country ! Honestly, the only place I could possibly consider to move (in the US) for my retirement is Honolulu. Hawaii was one of the best experience of my life and one of my favorite place in the world. Yes it's the US but it's also a country of it's own. The people there are the friendliest people I have ever met in all my travels. In short, Hawaii is the only state I would consider to move and it would surely be a place where I would have a foothold to live there for a few months a year during my retirement... I love my Quebec and my Canada too much :) Thanks a lot for this awesome video ! 42 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @jimrichards7014 While kids getting shot is not a daily occurrence, it’s very close to a weekly one.\n2022 there were 51 shootings that resulted in injury or death.\n100 injuries, 40 deaths.\nThat does not even include active shooter incidents where no one was injured. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @morisn Moving to the US? Well if you ask me as a person who first lived in the US as a legal college student ( thought I had to clarify that) and now a Canadian citizen who has lived in Canada for over two decades... ???... Nah, don't think so. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @BrianJohnson-bq9tr I'm an American who moved to Canada in 2009 and I'm quite happy never living in The US.\n\n\nWhile Canada is not immune from many of the social ills of The US, they are nowhere near as prevalent.\n\nGun crime is far less of a problem here. Racism exists but it is not as virulent here and the government, while not specifically trying to help me (I am black) it is not trying to hurt me or dehumanize me.\n\nLife is just...generally...more civil here and community minded.\n\nI'm not saying that I hate The US, just that I. Much happier and feel safer here.\n\nAt my age (62), that is important to me. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @nanach6276 haha, Hollywood, lol 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @fredbyoutubing I lived in New York City for 3 years and am from Quebec city. I would say New York is its own thing but I would not want to go back and live there or anywhere in the US. Especially with the rising of censorship, women's right violation, open racism against immigrants, gun culture, LGBTQ having a nightmare to deal with etc. And I'm a strait white heterosexual male who grew up privileged. 14 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @tryhiguy Are you kidding me?\nhttps://youtu.be/LT3cERVRoQo 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @wesblood3620 No, I live in Metro Vancouver area. \nI scheduled for a Cataract operation which costs me NOTHING. \nAnd besides, you have Donald Duck Trump. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @tracyrivers460 Nope.... I would NOT want to leave CANADA for the USA, for my health costs & b/c guns are out of control there! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @FallenRosestorm I don't think I ever would because most of my family are in Canada 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @kf9346 My answer has always been: not in a million years. Now my answer is: I won't even visit the US anymore. 2 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @patricktoulze1274 Are you serious. No, NEVER. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @calussier1 The US simply lacks openness. Women’s rights, the LGBTQ rights, immigration, firearms, law enforcement; so many subjects which American and Canadian citizens think very differently. And it’s true that we can find cities who shares the same values as us, but I don’t want to be part of an increasingly conservative country. ?\nAnd for the good part of the US, there are trips! ?✈️? 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @marshabradcoe417 I almost moved to the US in 1983 but decided against it. Wow that would have been a monumental mistake. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @RavenTheLabrador As a comedian I can tell you we literally have everything that you said you have in the United States so you're not exactly giving any incentives for any of us to want to go there all I see is nothing but mass shootings murder drugs and crazy insane presidents so no thanks I'm not going. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @carriemcarthur8125 Never as a Canadian your country is messed up. As a country we've amended our Charter of Rights and Freedom many times. Your country is in the stone age what gives you the right to carry guns cus it's in your constitution grow tfup. Your republican party is corrupt your orange 45 buffoon is a rapist you should be ashamed. If our country could separate from yours I'll be right there. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @marakuyovimalesh3793 The only aspect that makes the USA attractive is the climate: more variety and more pleasant. Otherwise, there's not a single reason I'd consider it. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @teresamarie735 No I would not. Short visits are enough. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @barbiedueck2273 Not a chance! My narcissistic brother did years ago…. You can have that Trumper 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @thebearsden1701 Hell no....we are going to take our country back !!? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @klausschraud7303 Not a chance , the empire is falling apart the land of not so free 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @shannapetersen2470 I do not understand this attitude...they are not shooting near me and I have healthcare from my work? So? Fu-k the rest of the population??? Nobody seems to care as long as it's not there child, getting gunned down??? How do you think we got everything we have here??? We tould the government! And we staid home from work, and we protested in front of the palement and we only woted fore what we wanted!!! Women are respected and we have more women who has a PhD then men! Oh! A Danish old woman who dos not understand how you can care so little about you fellow U.S. citizens??!! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @DerrickRowntree The American government is set up to do nothing 4 years of infighting amongst yourselves to get absolutely nothing accomplished in my mind. One of the most useless governments in the world. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @brimstonewinpete9306 sorry Tyler move to a small town what you mean Uvalde or any of the other hundred smaller areas where there have been mass shooters can't even go to a fn target without getting shot nowadays 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @AngryVet44 Being strategic about where you live?!?! pick a small town… You mean be white and live in a small WHITE town? because Uvalde was small town that was mostly Latino they had to use DNA tests to identify the bodies ?\n\nAmericans don’t worry about school shootings. Seriously?!?! What planet do you live on?? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @EatinPeaches82 We have McDonald's and Tim Hortons as far as the eye can see. And Tim Hortons is better ?. I would live in the states but it would have to be dual citizenship. That way at least if i get sick or anything I can go back for the free health care lol 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @canadiancitizencat We considered it but the lack of universal health care and the inflated costs associated with the necessity of medical turned us away. A country that large doing great economically really needs to evaluate how they spend tax dollars. Healthcare should be top priority 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @jackthebassman1 As a Brit who had the opportunity to move family to America 25 years ago, I'm so relieved I didn't take up the offer. Shite health care, school and mass shootings, kids wearing bullet proof backpacks, government interference in women's reproductive rights, government by religious approval, schoolboards dismissing science, NRA stranglehold of public safety - in short NOT A CHANCE. Oh, did I forget to mention the Supreme Court being totally political l, that's despicable. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
