1 year, 4 months ago @shawnswc2539 I have 2 brothers that live in the US and they both enjoy living there. Yes, the medical is expensive and not as good as Canada's medical plan. But it's also true that you could get in fast all in the US. Hospitals pill to getting in to Canadian hospitals for appointments. For\n Myself, I love, the US has lot of nice cultures. And I Love all the theme parks that you guys have down there like Disneyland and hollywood theme park as well and even Hawaii. 1 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @monicabouteiller8482 ???I don't know of any Canadian of sound mind wanting to move to the USA. Your country is now governed by authoritarians, a convicted criminal t rump and his stupid maga maggots! Your country is literally collapsing. Your country is filled with hatred and racism!! Why on earth would Canadians want to live in a country that's going backwards. We love our multiculturalism and our universal healthcare. We don't like your ridiculous, long-drawn-out politics! Our country is a million times safer than your country, which has a bunch of foolish people running amuck with guns and semi-automatic rifles. I would never want my kids to go to your schools because your education is not that great. I also don't want my kids to be afraid of going to schools.... you have crazy people who are racists, including students who shoot kids, teachers..... good grief!! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @mr.2cents.846 As a canadian video gamer I kinda fell in love with Montana when playing Far Cry 5. Which is set in the fictional Hope County in Montana. But from what I know they have long cold winters.\nhttps://youtu.be/8JxUY1St8hI?si=JuDKdQFNW7tOWN6J 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @mr.2cents.846 In America health is not about health it's all about money. Everything in the hospital is unreasonably expensive. Toronto is the most American like canadian city. 0 zJycj8c73sQ

1 year, 4 months ago @UbiqueTransport As a Canadian, I get treated better as a foreigner in the USA , than as a fellow Canadian in Canada. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @evamae9295 Lived in Texas during Trump 1.0 , watched groceries and fuel cost skyrocket. Keep your cheap alcohol and cigarettes, keep your gun violence try your thoughts and prayers on the borders . USA is are redneck neighbour. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @tss9886 You are a very sweet young man, Tyler, but please remember that your life is privileged. The poor in the USA don't have the privilege of moving to better parts of the country. They simply can't afford it. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @lorettasimeon4350 Our police are armed as well but they're taught to de-escalate before they pull any weapons, its usually them trying to talk to you and put you at ease if that doesn't work its like pepper spray first or other physical detainment but civilians don't carry guns so there isn't as much of a risk when they're be apprehended by police so they don't need to have such a strong presence, of course there are other ways of intimidation 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @bluebelle9370 Sorry to say , i lived in the U.S for 3 yrs and found the majority of the Americans to be arrogant, racist and not very bright . 0 zJycj8c73sQ

1 year, 4 months ago @MysteriousMrX My dude you just said that health care is never discussed in american politics. \n\nAlso, all these people saying that health care in Canada takes years and years for things that take weeks in the US are typically full of it. Yeah. Some provinces that shall remain nameless like to break contracts with health care professionals, resulting in shortages of certain types of workers. \n\nI live in remote northish parts of my province (not NWT, Yukon, or Nunavut), and 6 years ago I was diagnosed w/ lymphoma. They had me set up to do chemotherapy treatment within 2 weeks. They wanted me to start that weekend, but I needed the time to put my work in order for me to be gone for an extended period, get applications set up for EI/Healthcare claims, and figure out who in my family I wanted to share the information with. \n\nIn Canada you end up waiting for elective surgeries and treatments, because they aren't critical by virtue of being elective. That's about it. If you need an elective and have 10K in your pocket not doing anything, go ahead and go to the states. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @DaSoleMan Whats the rent there ? 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @j.c.nightwalker5322 I live in Toronto and ive been around Canada. In all the cities of Canada, it is way way worse than 10 years ago. I don't recognize it anymore. Drugs, crime, and cost. It sucks right now. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @maya_b728 I have Leukemia. I have to take a particular medication, that costs $8400.00 PER BOTTLE. Doesn't cost ME a cent...ahhhh Living in Canada is so much easier.... 0 zJycj8c73sQ

My cousin recently moved to Tampa Florida & loves it. \n\nI have a friend who married & moved to California, raised her 3 boys there but then moved back to Canada to assist to care for her aging mother. She is one of the biggest advocates for living in Canada. \n\nI am working on moving to the US due to my fiancé lives there. 2 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @JayeEllis Willingly give up the right to choose? Canadians are smarter than that, which is why their Supreme Court answered the right question. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @mikewhite723 if you are a Canadian and you move to the usa after a while your hospitalization here is cancelled . Your not paying our taxes. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @LadyJane222 If you have insurance in the US are you 100% covered for doctor visits, surgeries, hospital stays and medical tests? In Canada we are covered for all these things and there’s no bill after we receive these services. A family of 4 pays about $17000 a year in taxes to cover these things. This would be about $12000 USD. A family of 4 in the US pays about $24000 per year in insurance and still have to pay for services. I think we have the better deal. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @GoddessArianmor Hell no. We have that already 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @richardblack1940 So true without healthcare and others its like a third world country ad I lived in the US 0 zJycj8c73sQ

1 year, 4 months ago @robinward3003 I have had 2 children in Canada, both being a cesarean birth, one head injury where I was in a coma for 3 months, total stay in hospital, 6 months, and had cancer treatment in hospital lasting 2 years, all while being a single father, raising my 2 girls, and I only paid my $58.00 healthcare premium paid 4 times a year, and nothing else. These hospital stays would have bankrupted me, 4 times over, if it happened in America. Until you start looking after ALL your people, you're 3rd world. Fact. Boot trump out, and put a real leader in charge, Kamala Harris. Become 1st world. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @waynemcneil2484 I am a newfoundlander known across the country as a NEWFIE. You ask would i give up by birthplace to move to the USA? I wouldn't consider moving to anywhere in Canada let alone move to the USA. We have health insurance which is taken care of by government, we have Dental care that's taken care of by government we have Starbucks, Tim Horton's, and all the other goodies you mentioned here or you think are goodies. We have very nice people and everyone is willing to help and not stab the neighbour in the back. We have some of the best that nature has to offer. Move? Not bloody likely. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @robinward3003 As far as healthcare goes the US is a 3rd world country, where, only the rich can afford to see a doctor, or visit a hospital. You have thousands of people living on the streets, with NO help, or concern. America is no different than Bangladesh, or Ethiopia, for having a part of your society living on the street, begging for food, or money. When the US starts caring for ALL of it's people, regardless of skin color, race, or background, and give them a hand up, like most CIVILIZED societies do, you'll always be a 3rd world country. America had a chance to elect a president that would have turned America into a first world power with Kamala Harris, and Tim Waiz, but, you blew it, you re-elected the worst president, EVER with trump, who will finish the job of ruining America, and make it totally poverty-stricken. WOW, you'd think Americans are all millionaires, the way they turned out, for trump! Did NONE of you listen to what Kamala was offering? Because this half blind, mostly deaf old Canadian heard every word, her promise of a bottom-up building more opportunities for poor, and working class families, new taxes on the rich, and corporations to pay for it. Kamala offered a GREAT deal, a more secure future, more OPPORTUNITIES,,,,, And you all turned her down. You voted for a stalker and rapist, a traitor, and criminal, with multiple convictions, a liar, and cheat, trump. I guess you get what you deserve. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @DG-mi8en I'd never leave Canada for the state's there is no place like Canada ❤ 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @pennymchugh3146 No one made the social net in Canada for us, we made it for each other. That's democracy. Having said, that, I use the healthcare system as little as possible while others are breaking its back with minor colds, especially since Covid. Fear of lack of healthcare was not the Canadian norm, but seems to have become that way resulting in people destroying a good thing and getting lazier about personal responsibility! So much talk about politics everywhere now and not much talk about responsibility for ourselves let alone our neighbours. Politicians are not gods! 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @tonilloyd4704 I’m a Canadian I will never live in the USA I love my country we don’t have to worry about getting sick and having to mortgage our house to afford it. So no I would never ever live there. Besides that I can’t stand your president and his yes boys or his nazi musk 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @wvrjl What Tyler doesn't understand is that when you get REALLY sick, you have to stop working. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @democolor42 Not true, in Canada wait times are not longer than in america, but free and with more consideration served. Canadian doctors are so far superior with knowledge!!! Also american death care does not have good quality, I have just written why in another comment. I payed fortune and was misdiagnosed in contradictions. It is the biggest lie to say american death care can be called even bad. It is terrible. Used to brilliant Soviet Russian doctors, I saw the nightmare! 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @kimmcamp I am just listening to this and as a Canadian I have hundreds of US friends who cannot afford health insurance at all, for others they paying $600 per month plus for insurance with huge copays and very often can’t pay for meds. I think you are truly uninformed on the US healthcare availability. I would think the chances are of walking into an er and being seen in less than 30 mins unless they were in critical condition. The US is one of the unhealthiest nations in the developed world, with a shorter lifeline than most others. Take a look at GoFundMe medical needs and you will be devastated. Don’t make guesses or assumptions do your homework! 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @dcddakin-1515 as per capita canada has more guns per citizen then the americans. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @imisstoronto3121 I used to look forward to travelling in the US but the health care is an issue and since Trump has been on the political scene, I prefer to go elsewhere 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @mouse9727 I’m not sure how you can claim the health care is better in the USA when the infant mortality rate is so high and overall health care outcomes are so low compared to other developed nations 0 O0gJtVar7_E
1 year, 4 months ago @mouse9727 Call me crazy, but I thought New York City was not in upstate New York, but downstate instead? Has Tyler ever looked at a map? 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @laurieehler9074 Canada has world class doctors, 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @siggysue1968 No, politics in Canada is not good. Just that comment referencing Republicans is an example in and of itself.\nHealthcare is good, used to be better, and is getting worse.\nCrime is rampant in Ont. \nHomelessness is high and rising with job losses, inflation, drugs. Foodbank lineups have more than doubled.\nThere are lots of police and they are armed.\nThey ate so busy with rising crime that they don't pursue other illegal crimes \nWhere is a lot of wonderful about Canafa, but it has gotten worse.\nWe are enjoying the end of the thread of beautiful Canada. But for future generations, Canadians seem to not care. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @neverbettercanada She didn't want to raise her kid thier 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @shelleycarefoot2 I was po'd that I had to pay $13 for a tv in my room when I had my kids LMAO! Canadian problem. Free now though. For the most part I like the safety and security of Canada. I always feel a little in danger when I visit the US. I think the idea that anyone can carry a weapon freaks me out. But, I love the shopping in the states. It is not cheaper for us to buy down there but you guys have way more variety. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
1 year, 4 months ago @nucleiphe9497 thanks for making me laugh, if you change your mind, there is a lot of place here!!! 0 O0gJtVar7_E

1 year, 4 months ago @mrsnoopy2uable My parents both born in the states. They renounced their citizenship in the 60s. They said they’d never move back and only visited twice because my grandparents lived there. Plus, North America isn’t the best when it comes to being advanced with technology. 0 zJycj8c73sQ
