We need to better vet applications, cut down on asylum seekers, reverse international students back to 20 hours/week work, no one walks in from US and claim asylum. When someone comes to study, the focus should be studying and not working full time. Stop sending billions to other countries and start investing it on our housing, infrastructure and services. Give tax benefits to small businesses and startups. Strict gang and crime laws. Finally, stop giving free drugs to addicts and have better rehab and resettlement facilities. Above all, people have to stop thinking the dumb idea that anyone is being replaced or anything. 1 5Hul1p4v4Zs

However, new immigrants these days are not as qualified, self-entitled, and no opportunity offered at all. The vast majority of international students are Indians. Most of them are enroled in fake or low ranking institutions. So we got more than 1m Indinas in one year. It effectively causes cultural ghettoing of society which lends itself very well to manipulation by the practitioners of ideologies that dislike traditional national identity and strong historical values. That is, liberal progressive ideologies. Most closed work permit employees know what slavery looks like ….these number never show up in Govt numbers and this is a big burden on tax payers…\n\nStudents in useless diplomas are also here to get PR in any way.. they pay their way into PNPs to get PR if need arises….your Master and P hD folks are not in that line… but who knows if 360k limit would impact those good guys more than the diploma students 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs

Even most of the engineers, doctors and other professionals with foreign experience ended up doing general labor or uber driver jobs and even on the basis of their education and work experience they got permanent residency. No one likes to work on these hard jobs but they don't have any other option as most of skilled worker jobs either need their respective field license or Canadian experience. how much fees international student paying, what kind of job they are doing here, living far from family, managing studies and job, how much debt they took to study here and much more sacrifices doing here. Do not say then why came here because applied through legal process and full filled all the necessary criteria. Was it our fault that we dreamed about study and work here in Canada?. I know it is hard for you and your families that they are not getting jobs but don't hate international students. you can only understand anyone if you put yourself in their shoes. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
