2 years, 4 months ago @youstew99 The entire thing is a lie. We don't need people...we're a Country whose GDP is built on Natural resources...Not Tim Horton workers. And now with AI we'll need even fewer workers but it's too late...they're in, and they can now bring in all their relatives. Canada is already gone...I was born and raised in Vancouver and it began right after Expo 86 with China flooding Vancouver. It's all part of the plan...it's planned to collapse. It's clearly an agenda at this point. Not once in the history of Canada have we built more than 200K new homes, yet here we are with a 500K per year mandate on new immigrants, with last year bringing in 1.2M? How can you as a Government deliberately do that to the citizens of your Country? We were all sold down the river for new votes and tax dollars...and of course the eventual realignment for a one-world currency. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @1bam1productions The reason why the federal government wants more people here is because the more people you have applying for one job the less that job has to offer that person in a salary. At the end of the day the only people that win are the large corporations 4 5Hul1p4v4Zs

2 years, 4 months ago @JS-jh4cy By giving some free money, free housing and job positioning throws and wrench ? into the barely functioning economy and craps the whole economic development engine up 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs

2 years, 4 months ago @sumeshjoseph2471 There is no more jobs in Toronto... Statitics canada manipulate data to keep unemployment low by saying labour participation is going down every month 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @Stevgar2 The next federal government had better start mass deportation to correct the mess that's been brought here by virtue signalling sycophants. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @felixfelix8452 If u compare the EI last year and this year, u will see significant increase. The number of jobs in public sector sharply increased since 2020, while the productivity declined since 2020. Number of reported bankruptcies escalated sharply after mid 2023 till now. Also consider the extra taxes since 2020. The shift in oil purchase etc.. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @iamjustsaying4787 So they told people in the West that the earth is over populated and women that they should shun having more tan two children for careers. But, now there is a population shortage? 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @senioraces that's lib BS! Those entry level jobs should be going to Canadian kids & young adults entering the job market First! 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @leoncardinal2035 I have been in the painting trade for many years. Many of the immigrants got put into our trade, including sponsorship for companies hiring them. I was also told companies get up to $20,000/ sponsor.\n The wages are very low now. I had a very hard time getting a decent wage and even a job in Calgary. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs

2 years, 4 months ago @davedismantled We are where we are, regardless of what political theatre show has been in office. Left or Right, we have still arrived where we are at. It did not just happen in 8 years. Government is always the problem, never the solution. People that think Pee Pee is going to save Canada from Turdo are naive children, lost in their Statist cult mentality. Government - all government - is nothing but a system of coercion, violence and slavery; and the great enabler of everything people complain about. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @vinayvarghese9426 It's not labour shortage. It's a way of making vote bank and bring in terrorists. But 90% people will go back as there is no worth 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs

2 years, 4 months ago @prabhdeepdhahan1147 Haven't seen a white person work at Tim Hortons for some time. Ironically, Starbucks is straight Canadian hires, though. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @paulbelisle7213 Food and housing inflation is due to immigration. Supply cant keep up with demand….therefore prices go up. Interest rate hikes are not working. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @dereka5017 As an employer in a mid-skill company, late 2021 and pretty much all of 2022 were the worst times for hiring. You legitimately could not find competent people. Things have only gotten slightly better since then.\n\nThe problem is that few of the people they're bringing in can fill anything but low skill, minimum wage jobs. They don't have the education for more, their English language skills are questionable, and they often clash with the culture. And worst of all, they are financially supported by the government which provides the double whammy of increasing tax burden while also increasing product demand, which exacerbates the labour shortage. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @AllieMatthews-c6t if only people were lining up like that to join the military 1 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @category7273 That's what country does to become a third world country, mass immigration 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @HarpreetSingh-jd3tu As someone with immigrant parents... we work hard and do our best for the community we are in.\n\nIssue today is... no infrastructure to support new immigrants. Citizens suffer and so do immigrants, no one is benefiting.\n\nThere needs to be a serious pause and government needs to fix each problem we have today and when ready then unpause. 5 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @m.t.1616 This government clearly has nothing planned out. They just make reckless decisions impulsively. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @marybourne2439 Trudeau is lying about the unemployment rate in Canada and by bringing in people who will work for cheap wages it keeps incomes of Canadians low 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @m.t.1616 Just wait until automation and AI replace half the low skilled jobs and all these people are living in tents on the streets. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @m310x This is the goal of capitalism. Import cheap labour, lower worker wages, increase profit. Outsourcing what they can. The goal is always GDP growth over culture preservation. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @bandave1 They have a program called the northern ontario immigration project where they have swamped small towns and cities with immigration that have left alot of places with out excess home or jobs for that matter . Companies are taking advantage of the cheap labor and in turn leaving citizens with out employment due to the unlimited flow . 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @MegaSnowman35 Massive immigration is being done on purpose. \nTo destabilize Canadian society, in preparation for a dictator.. \nI'm telling you this fact, a dictator is coming. \nSlowly, life in Canada is becoming a hell of a hole .\nFighting between races different classes of people. \nMost of today's Canadian culture will become meanless.\nWeak families unity or if any families at all. \nThis massive immigration is in preparation for a dictator to rule Canada. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @samreddy27 “Skilled labor” shortage bud, not low skilled 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @MeetPatel-z5m As an Indian immigrant who moved to Canada 5 years ago, I completely agree with him. The government is lying about the number of unfilled job positions. 65 5Hul1p4v4Zs

2 years, 4 months ago @JohalXXX Canadian govt is a joke 1 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @xaviermoreno2248 They should bring skilled Inmigrants with a career path to ensure they not ended up taking advantage of EI and welfare as many do . Fed up of lazy people coming to Canada to abuse the system . As an immigrant myself who came 12 years ago I had to work 2 jobs and study at night French to be able to adapt. When I came I already had a university degree and then did my masters degree here in Canada . At the end it pay off I had a good job now. The main requirement for people coming to Canada should be an university degree at least as in the past . That shows you are able to learn and adapt to new things plus you have knowledge about a specific field . 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @ryanlerouche5122 To collapse the economy. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @Ctrontite Canada was good while it lasted for sure. 1 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @kjova251 1. The Liberals need more Liberal voters. And I'm not just saying that in a facetious manner - I live in an area with high numbers of immigrants and have heard them say they will vote Liberal because they came to the country thanks to the Liberals.\n2. We wouldn't need foreign workers for all these jobs if the gov't stopped handouts and put more focus on rewarding workers. I have 3 family members on AISH that have nothing wrong with them beyond being SO LAZY. But you doctor shop and k*$$ the @$$ of the person deciding if you can be on the program and you get it. They know how to work the system for any cent they can get from the gov't, then complain it's not enough to live on - IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE AN INCOME ANYWAY but just assistance for SEVERELY handicapped people who actually need it. 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @Roman_Octavius I can't stand the immigration policy in this country. 190 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @edzupet1396 True North has a lot of good news articles as does Rebel News. Its a joke what Turdeau has done but at least all these immigrants aren’t getting $3000/mth - free credit cards, eligibility to vote federally right now, free cell phones, $3000/mth living allowance, free health care, free education etc etc as are the American immigrants, or are they? 0 5Hul1p4v4Zs
2 years, 4 months ago @jo-annguthur7314 My high school daughter can’t find a job! Immigrants working at the local Tim Hortons - and the immigrants that own the store or manage the store they only hire their own!!! 5 5Hul1p4v4Zs
