It was really sad to hear her stories. They lost everything. She lost two of her daughters on the way up the riots. They went searching for them but never found anything. I can’t imagine hungry, exhausted, homeless mother dealing with loss of her children when still frightened that Muslim mob will rape or burn them any day. People say it both sides. But it’s evident from history Dr Ishtisk Ahmed quotes it was Muslim who started the riots first in bihar, bengal and Jinnah originally supported uprising in parts of Punjab, he wanted to show that we can’t live together to justify for separate state. Sadly now we have more Muslims in India then Pakistan and they live happily in our own neighbourhood.
