3 years, 8 months ago @aamadmi2890 I live in india and i havent seen any of my sikh friends in schools, colleges and even in my work place carrying a kirpan or knife, i have seen only nihangs or sikh priest carrying them. I think when you move to a foreign land you tend to show your identity aggressively to be different, even muslims in western countries are more radical than here. 1 helDJ-uTrqY

3 years, 8 months ago @phoenix2gaming346 As a Indian people say kirpan a knife or weapon. what about other religion ? As per a Muslim hijab it's not so necessary to wears it all time but in Sikh religion who practices a Amrit dhari are necessary to carry a kirpan and a kirpan not longer than 4 or 6 inches as per American rules ? 1 helDJ-uTrqY

3 years, 8 months ago @phoenix2gaming346 Hmm as a Indian i see more highlights of this video are people's talking about is to not where or change your religion practice hmm as we know about our constitution we have to right to practice religion freely as far as you can. But people of India also unawared about Sikh religion practice for a kirpan. Every country in this world India also included in this to freely practice and Sikhs have to carry kirpan 'not knife' for Amrit people's not every Sikh. It's legal in every country ? 1 helDJ-uTrqY
3 years, 8 months ago @spreadlove1777 I love Sikh people’s religion but i don’t know it’s scary these days, anyone can be doing and saying this we don’t know what are the intentions, some are in clear view and some are not but we don’t know…which one can be raised to harm. 0 helDJ-uTrqY

3 years, 8 months ago @vikethopfukha9550 That dude is an idiot. He invited upon himself this trouble. Why would he bring a kirpan to a university especially in a country where his religious beliefs and traditions is not a common knowledge to people? Should have jailed him for his idiocy. Period. 1 helDJ-uTrqY
3 years, 8 months ago @mrjellybean9194 They are both at fault cop for not understanding his religion and student for not helping him get to know why he was wearing that. Student should of taken off the knife let the office inspect it and if the officer went any further from there should be sued and either demoted and or discharged from campus. There's the real answer 0 helDJ-uTrqY

3 years, 8 months ago @KidstaSam He is our Indian brother from the Sikh community. Kirpan is one of the 6 essentials that every Sikh must carry in Sikhism - Dastaar (turban), Kada (steel bracelet), Kesh (uncut hair), Kangha (wooden comb), Kachcha (cotton underwear) and Kirpan (steel sword). He was wearing a turban. And if they still can't recognize a person from Sikh community from actual troublemakers and terrorists, then it's deplorable. That police officer must be immediately suspended till he learns his lesson. Jai Hind ?? 0 helDJ-uTrqY
