There is 2 types of Sikh..... one that are baptized and live that life and then that knife would actually be part of his religion and there is a few extra things..... and then there is Sikh that are not living that life and are more peaceful and would not have a knife like that unless they ( wanted to for fun) ....... if he lives his life as the type that always has that as a Sikh this was a violation of his wright to religion and is a serious lawsuit and also wrongful detaining ..... |

Maybe he has religious intentions but we need to understand its not India, its USA and they have their own laws + there are many many incidents where school shooting happens or people get killed by things so people are scared of anything that they think can harm them. I am not saying calling police on someone is right just bcz they are following religion but we need to know where to follow your religion. I under religious sentiments but it's also seen as a weapon correct. He needed to inform college authorities if there was any initiation or atleast wear it under his shirt. Imagine if white supremacists and kk members or saffron terrorists or other terrorist networks start carrying weapons claiming it part of their religious belief and having free pas to attack anyone anytime |
