8 years, 3 months ago @kathrynstone8940 Have I got this right? He has been an illegal in US for 10 years then because he felt unsafe with Trumps changes he uprooted his family and tried to stay in Canada. Yet he speaks to his family in Spanish?? Why?? If his kids were born in the US their first language should be English and he should have learned it by now too. No attempt whatsoever to integrate and become American. I can't feel any sympathy for him 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @CopiousDoinksLLC So wait... this guy has spent fifteen years in another country as an illegal immigrant because he refused to enter by normal laws, all the while apparently not having learned a single lick of English while he was there (or simply refused to)... and now he's complaining because he 'made a mistake' of illegally immigrating AWAY from said country?\n\nFolks, I'm starting to think there might be a damn good reason why people like this are 'illegal' in the first place. Just saying. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @midnightdl Thanks, Trudeau 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @dirtbones This guy can't even speak english. He has zero right to live in Canada. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @gudmunduregill 15 years in the U.S. and he can't speak a word of English... 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @carel1540 As a Canadian Salvadoran I’m grateful to be in this great country. However, I implore all immigrants/refugees to wake up and smell the roses, it is not paradise here....it’s great but not that great. There are things here that oppress Canadians, and the government is one of them. Racism exists here, better believe that, Sadly, In this world there is no more empathy, kindness. It’s a Dog eat dog world. No matter where you go.....ok maybe Switzerland or Iceland is alright ? but no where else. Like I always say Follow the laws, take care of yourself and your family and be happy. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @brokenmedic9133 So, after 15 YEARS as an ILLEGAL (not undocumented) he never learned a word of English and never tried to become a LEGAL immigrant in the U.S.? Well if I was illegal (not undocumented) in any other country and not speaking their language, I would be tossed out immediately. Our country was built on immigration, you can NOT say that immigrants are not welcome. Legal and illegal is the difference. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @kathybrown2322 Wow,I'm an American and I don't have 15,000 dollars to spend on attorneys ,wait that's because we have to pay taxes, food medical insurance, and use a drivers licence to drive a vehicle or we get in trouble, these peoples sense of entitlement is utterly ridiculous and think laws don't apply to them. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @roborr6491 If he was a Muslim our Muslim PM Trudeau would let him in a minute. Always keep in mind Trudeau only wants Muslims. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @jbamerican_usnavy White sand beaches, rainforest, snow-capped mountains, fertile ground nobody from Latin America is a refugee. Including Cuba. They are Economic opportunist not refugees. It took 400 years of History to build America. Now Latinos are pouring into America demanding jobs and rights they don't have in your own country. Refusing to learn English screaming solo Espanol. Call Donald Trump a racist but have no problem setting up racist ethnic cleansing zones against African-Americans. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @americandream1718 It doesn't matter if he's wearing a Haji or whatever it's the fact he's an immigrant and nobody wants immigrants in their country 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @Lumnuon Spent years in the US, spends years in Canada. Doesn't even speak English.\n\nIntegration is working you guys! 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @toreshammerecelt861 Adios. You can’t even speak English. That demonstrates you have no desire for North American culture and customs. My grandpa had to learn French when he emigrated to Canada from Holland more than a hundred years ago. When him and my grandma emigrated to the United States, they learned English and gained citizenship. They only had two kids and my grandpa employed people who he refused to let go during the depression in the 1930’s. What have you done for our country? 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @sugarfish6722 Go to Morocco! Open border, sunshine and the food is really good. And there's plenty of work 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @sirroxalot Question: Why don't poor people get their selves settled and established before they have kids? It's not like they have good jobs and then lost them. They were born poor. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @Smileyyy21 My cousin got a good lawyer after almost 30 years of being here temporary. I wish I could get his information to give him the name of a lawyer whose not a scammer. She heard about her lawyer from a church she went to. He needs to meet people and someone will lead him to a good one. Part at 6:00 reminds me of my dad when he's giving us lectures lol. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @uncleruckus5121 and canada needs to inform the hollywood morons\nthat just because your candidate you support loses the presidential election\ndoes NOT give you a right to live in canada ! 0 ONjCMzB_FPw

8 years, 3 months ago @peterpoertner9573 He illegally enters the U.S., doesn't seem to understand why ICE wants to deport him.  So he illegally enters Canada and doesn't seem to understand why they want to deport him.  So instead he plays the system by moving about to get his case 'put to the bottom of the pile' to cheat yet MORE time to stay in Canada illegally.  Then when he gets told 'NO', he changes up and says he no longer in any danger of returning but now it's humanitarian.  Time to pack up and move back to El Salvador and turn your home country into what you want it to be. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw

8 years, 3 months ago @danielcervantes9743 God bless him and his family. Hope he feels welcomed somewhere. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @soisitimpossible We need the same approach when it comes to Syrians in Canada. Every immigrant takes work from a Canadian. Unlike Canadians who help out everyone when it comes to employment. East Indians for example only hire east indians from my experience alot of foreigners only hire their own. Say for example when Alberta was busy the government flooded the market with tfw(temporary foreign workers)to support the trades, but then let them all stay. Now it's slow and there are foreigners working when Canadians need jobs. Cause unlike Canadians they refer all their foreign friends for work. We need to curb this shit in Canada and stop being so kind! Atleast most Mexicans have similar traditional values as most generational Canadians. Unlike most middle eastern countries. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @artificialavocado9652 I've been hearing a lot about El Salvadore lately and this super high murder rate they got there. Of course anyone could be caught in a crossfire but are they really just picking random dudes up off the street to murder? I imagine the stats are MUCH lower when you control for things like gang involvement and other criminal behavior. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @kylej.4158 Good Riddens 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @frankydaniel1463 Head south when you hit central America yoll be home 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @edwardparks3565 Just because the murder rate is high does not mean you're in danger. Baltimore has one of the highest rates of murder and I lived here my whole life. Go home dude. 130 ONjCMzB_FPw

8 years, 3 months ago @lauriemove God This is heart breaking. Years ago, you go go anywhere if your were not a person of color and do whatever you want. And ppl of color are not forced to listen to rules by the ppl who killed off the ppl of color in the first place. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @Elltonjohn22 They think that if they come to AMERICA or CANADA they have it made. That will give them everything they need. Yet we have our own people to take care of. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @axlyoung1218 It's easy to save money when you don't pay taxes. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @piontropechetrini5640 He has to understand that just by coming to Canada and claim refugee status wont guaranty that he will be accepted. He needs to have a long beard, hate women, cover his wife from head to toe and try to change Canadian ways. Then, and Only then he will be accepted. 3 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @randyjohnson3823 Here's an idea!! Why not apply to enter a better country through the standardized legal channels like millions of other immigrants??? Obey the laws of the country you wish to enter, live, work in and be a part of? Who would have ever thought of that?? HBO is run by idiots and ruled by group think. HBO is a joke 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @rascalhusky8129 Not immigrant but refugee. Big difference. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @jf8461 I understand his reasons for wanting to leave El Salvador, but the sad and hard truth is, no other country is OBLIGATED to take them in! Canada, and even the USA is a long ways from El Salvador; did they try any closer countries?? 43 ONjCMzB_FPw

8 years, 3 months ago @glennbornsen6770 Go back to your own country 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @vannuck8677 I honestly feel bad for him and his family but #1 as the said you can't just hope over the border and climate refugee status unless you are under asylum. #2 he did play the system by moving his family to another province...not only is that a guaranteed depotiaton when the case comes up but it will hinder any re applications in the future....Buddy screwed up big time. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @MrBolas33 Looks like Pancho can afford a nice smart phone. 1 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @billybobnorton1828 hopfully him and his family stay in Canada the US doesn't need anymore illegal aliens living here not paying any taxes and getting government aid extra 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @X5000-c4b These are not asylum migrant, but economical migrants. Why dont they go back home and make el Salvador better? Afraid to work for peanuts? Then, you can start your own revolution. They do not come to the US to integrate but only for the money as clearly demonstrated in this case, F..k him and his family. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @newuser285 The issue is that the intending migrants and the general public are ignorant as to asylum law. The public think of asylum as some far reaching, grandiose humanitarian gesture- when the truth is that asylum laws provide an EXTREMELY LIMITED basis of relief. \n\nMerely coming from a dangerous country is NOT enough to win asylum, in the U.S. or Canada. A person must prove they are specifically persecuted, by the GOVERNMENT, because of some specific basis. A Central American claiming Central America is full of gangs and poverty, while true, is NOT a basis for asylum. This is why it's my personal belief that the thousands of Haitians making a run for the Canadian border have an almost zero chance of receiving asylum- ESPECIALLY after NOT living in Haiti for many years. \n\nIn spite of this, migrants still make these claims because it forces the country to go through a time consuming legal process, and is a way to buy time and prevent their deportation. Or perhaps allow them time to find a local job, continue their education, or have a child born in the country and then make a humanitarian argument to allow them to stay, even after losing their asylum case. \n\nThe truth is, unless a country holds asylum seekers in detention for the entirety of the process, it's a given that failed asylum seekers will NOT return to their country of origin, and will simply go underground. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @cpaul57 In america, attorneys are free for undocumented people 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @thesrtsuperb8e627 Getting a visa or any form of legal residence in Canada is a pain in the ass, I know because I've tried. I was gonna move up there full time from Los Angeles at one point and I spent 10 full months applying and waiting and still got denied. I wasn't even a refugee either, they make you prove what you have to contribute to the country as far as skills and education and it's very difficult to get accepted 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
8 years, 3 months ago @fergalfarrelly8545 We cannot support refugees that are not by definition of our laws actually refugees. If you want to apply for imigration that is fine too. On top of all this i believe they should also be asking for permission from the native people of this land who are the true owners of this place, but there is no system in place to even consult native tribes. 0 ONjCMzB_FPw
