3 years, 4 months ago @Blackcat8 Most of the things they talk about are justifying. I’m sorry but for example why is safety so important to them. It’s pretty safe in both countries the US is not rio 0 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 4 months ago @TowDow3 mentions east coast but literally only mentions NYC. one city out of the entire eastern seaboard. LOL on the other hand people aren't risking their lives to move to Canada. Is the tap water really bussin' like that tho? 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @Babyluv_ NYC women being “rough” is a stereotype that people WHO REALLY DON’T KNOW NY’ers LIKE THAT SAY. Me, my friends, and even my female cousins are all nice or “soft” lol. We are not ratchet, hood, fighters, etc. but we didn’t grow up in the “hood” and my family is Haitian. Educated Haitians are not about to raise ratchet ass kids! We better have some dang class lol. Btw, I do not like social media. Therefore, I don’t have a FB, IG, Tic Toc, etc . 0 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 4 months ago @ellemichael5934 I am a Canadian living in the USA the last 8 yrs. I would not move back to Canada. The cost of living in Canada (GTA) is significantly higher than many major cities in the USA. The only thing that Canada has an upper hand on is the universal healthcare. I am sorry guys this one I do not agree with you all. 0 4lD0_fuB7qA

Canada used to be cool, too. damn shame. stay strong, bruh. 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @los31388 For perspective Canada population is 38 million that is smaller than Black Americans with 41 million people and they are only 14% of US population. So significantly less dense 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @phoenixflower1225 when you go down south in the states - as a colored man myself that's all you had to say :P 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @TheMandm719 I am originally from Buffalo, NY and we are literally 5 to 10 minutes away from Ontario CA, 1 hour away from Toronto, CA. It is better to me than American. The streets are clean, it is not segregated and food portions are smaller. The only thing I never understood is when Canadians came to Buffalo how they totally switched gears and started acting router then how they normally at the Canada. They also love to litter up in Buffalo, NY as well but they wouldn't be doing that in Canada. I used to work at the cheesecake factory here in Buffalo New York. And I guess there's not a cheesecake factory Canada. But we used to always get slammed because of how close we were to Canada and how Canadians love cheesecake factory. But they will trash the bathrooms , leave their clothes in the bathrooms. Was very rude to staff. It was crazy. But other than that if I had the money I would move to Canada. I heard a rumor, that taxes are higher up there because your health care system is universal and the colleges are free in Canada. Is that true? 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @kaydeetee3398 As a Canadian i grew up in a home where the front door stayed unlocked until the last person was home??‍♀️ also cost of living Ontario v Quebec varies too 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @nadegecallier6877 Lived in NJ????California ?????? Texas???? currently in Georgia ?????? once i get my finances together, i am definitely back to Texas?. Yes, the environment and people in general are different. Since i moved here, the people i have came in contact most of them are aggressive, rude(no southern hospitality for me) and ATL have the worst drivers and traffic. Living cost is way more than Texas. I need to visit Canada one day! 0 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 4 months ago @layzy24 I'm curious about that tap water now. ? 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @Justanothercog24 I've lived in 20+ cities various states & each state has it's own... well, everything. Laws, roads, slang, cultures, dialects AND even from city to city. Beach to inland to country to city are all vastly different. I've met LOTS of different ppl from all over the world in my travels. \nUnique little pockets all over the place. 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @Lochness19 Canada is definitely less segregated as a whole, especially Quebec. Parts of Toronto are starting to head towards US levels segregation though, mainly East Brampton (Indian) and Milliken (Chinese). But for every place like that, the Toronto area has dozens of neighbourhoods that are more diverse. Mississauga and North York are diverse throughout, as well as most of Scarborough, Ajax, Pickering, Milton, Downtown, even Richmond Hill and older parts of Brampton are pretty mixed. 5 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @CulinaryAvocat Lived in Montréal…great experience? 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @Lochness19 Trudeau's got merch, ain't you ever seen a black flag? ? 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @christopherMprice I lived in Europe for four and a half years, mixed between Germany and Italy. I can vouch that the dining scene in the US is terrible. when I got back to the states, most restaurants made my stomach hurt with all the stuff they cram into the foods. The EU has a lot of regulations on what you can and cannot put into food. The US....notsomuch. 0 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 4 months ago @maryland77 I’m from PG County, Maryland, and have lived in Alberta for 14+ years (family is Canadian)… Canada does feel safer, however I miss the sheer amount of “choice” you have in the states. Whether it’s airline, mobile phone company, places to shop/eat, USA just had wayyy more to choose (obviously because of the larger population). USA and Canada each have pros and cons. Generally, I don’t see a massive difference though. 1 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @dustincarrigan4558 Wait until you idiots say something the government doesn’t like. You will be running back 1 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @MidwestBoom People live in Chicago, New York, LA and then complain about the high cost and people like no shit 1 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @Lochness19 Tap water can be pretty hard in parts of Canada though (calcite deposits accumulating on your faucets and stuff). I noticed that a lot in Waterloo, ON and I think other cities around there like Guelph, Cambridge, Brantford, London have similar issues. \n\nThunder Bay, Toronto and Montreal tap water was really nice though. 1 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @Lochness19 Montreal rents in pretty good and in Quebec in general. Ontario is a fair bit more expensive. However even Ontario rents aren't that bad compared big US cities. Where Canada is really expensive is the cost of *owning* housing. I also don't really agree about food being more expensive in the US, I'd say it's pretty close, maybe even slightly cheaper in the US.\n\nAnd I don't think Columbus, OH would be that bad to live in. Sure, it doesn't have the big city life like Montreal or Toronto or even Vancouver, but it's probably on par with Edmonton, Winnipeg or London, ON or Kitchener-Waterloo? Maybe even like Ottawa, Hamilton or Calgary? (but warmer than all of the above). 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @yadayada4690 Preach you off the market why even looking on the east coast *kisses teeth ? 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @thecityhall6659 Educated and professional Canadians are desperately trying to move to the US, including my wife, myself, my direct manager and two of my coworkers, but even with TN visa it is tough. Taxes are really high here, rent is expensive, good luck finding a daycare, we are working poor people here, job market is small and very competitive since Canada brings many highly educated professionals from everywhere (India, Pakistan, China, etc) it is hard to build a descent career, and most of all Canada has long and dark winters. I pray every day to have a possibility to move to the US, save some money, maybe buy a house with a 3-4 bedroom (which will never ever happens in the city where I live in Canada). 156 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @Skleet I’m confused. Isn’t Preach married? 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @chillgamerdude4587 Canada is a dumpster fire communist hell hole. Feeling much safer how can you feel safe when your government takes your weapons. I guess you're ok with them being armed and not citizens. This is what they do construct policies to make those feel safe. When in fact your in more danger. You could be starring down the barrel of a government agent for anything. 1 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 4 months ago @presidentoneday6634 As an African it's sooo FUNNY to hear American say, oh you're from Africa. It's so dangerous, wow! I'm just like ???? Ya need to travel the world. For real.... The level of danger here is ridiculous.. compared to majority of the nations in Africa. 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
