5 years, 11 months ago @forcesightknight Damn, girl collecting for Syrian refugees has a set of nuggets on her. Lots of crazy people out here. God bless all people of compassion and love, religion aside. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @cinnamonsuga6305 White people are so weird to me...they live on land that they are not from..and always telling people to go back to there country...they even in africa... discriminating against africans...they are in Australia treating the natives bad also...I just dont understand 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @jAyl0rd What good is it for the media to share this kind of information or to do this kinda thing for public viewing.... what are people going to do about racial inequalities by companies... the media has the power to take this kind of information to the best Better Business bureaus and the FCC... what they do is they broadcast it to the public instigating feelings of animosity...\nThere should be a law against the media doing this kind of thing they know what they're doing and it's wrong... they do because someone's paying them to destabilize our people and that's wrong. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @towingpodcast Canada is full of racists. I had better experience from Americans 1 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @justinskelton4605 This happens both ways and is very real in Canada, but the racism against white community is just as bad if not worse than the other way around. Landlords won't rent to white people especially with kids. Some stores dont hire white people anymore. It's very Sad and it's in our faces but once again no one has the stones to dare say anything about it. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @larrysteve7272 wow just skipping Alberta typical 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @suhailshafi Nobody should have to put up with this kind of nonsense. People who mistreat others on the basis of race can, in many situations, be reported to people in positions in authority. Expose them and ostracize them, I say. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @pattimaeda6097 What was the race of 99% of the looters???? That’s why they’re profiles dumbasses 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @evelynarich1952 Then good. This tells us that we can then ask for donations for Christians in the Middle East. I am sure their kindness will be amazing. They will bend over backwards to build churches there. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @SlurySparx I'm really glad they didn't censor the cursing. It helps communicate what is actually going on. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @Heidi_137 Great show, love all the vids. I'd like to see one on SEXISM as well. 1 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @kaleidojess I think he’s right, Canada’s racism is more subtle — that’s most of the time. 5 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @310socal LOL, Decremation around the world on stolen land, think about it! How ironic! 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

5 years, 11 months ago @gabychuels2955 Yes, yes we are 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @cyclingzealot Targeting because of skin colour is wrong of course.\n I am not offended when asked to open my bags before I leave a store. But being white, I don't experience racism so I guess my perspective is different. I could see that being a slipery slope though, when one has to prove everything in a bag was purchased elsewhere.\n I enter stores sometimes with two bike paniers full of gear for the changing weather. \nIf there was a safe place to secure bags at the entrance, I wouldn't be offended to leave it there. But stores wouldn't want that cause that cost money. Instead we criminalize people, particularly people of colour. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @sunny22193 As a former best buy employee for 3 years, I can confirm they enforce a 10 foot 10 second rule. If a customer is withing 10 feet of you, you have 10 seconds to greet and share your name with the customer. This is two fold- yes, to help reduce shoplifting, but also to encourage sales. This is something I share and reference with my sales team in a different setting now, however, I can confirm as an experienced sales person, the technique works to achieve both outcomes. It's super sad to see it being used for the wrong purpose in this clip. I think it shows a lot of racial bias. I'm curious what ethnicities the employees were that approached each shopper. 4 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @ll8937 more than four years later.....NOTHING change! 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @seetamangal6556 Racism is more in the open now, I am a senior and really do not know what words they use to discriminate these days, however my husband and I were walking in Walmart one day, then in between the aisles a disabled youth was walking with his mother and was coming towards us, then he said look, look a cockroach and pointed at us. My husband looked at me and I looked at him, no one else around,we realized he was calling us cockroach, needless to say, we thought hmmm, that person could hardly walk and he is calling us cockroach. We walked out of the store totally shocked. I was later told young people are getting their info from the dark web. We called it ignorance and left it that. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @bighum70 As long as human have eyes/ears, there’s always going to be discrimination people. Get over it. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @marilynduenas1876 That's Ridiculous to keep talking about these topics all the time. Same ppl bring racism up every day categorizing individuals by their skin color, instead of not even thinking about it.. I guess racism is not going to disappear.. because it's been there.. since always.. some individuals give more mind to it than others.. some others, pretend.. and others just live with it 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @yvettebowles9011 They need to do blind recruitment here in America. I think it would go far in fixing some of our issues. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @avanelhylton You should have allowed the black gentleman to go apartment hunting in Toronto too. It is very bad here! 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @harriskulyk5877 If you want to see why racial profiling exists in shopper's drug marts and other stores, just have a look at all the fenced goods available on Saskatoon buy and sell Facebook page. Humans are good at seeing patterns. It shames me to say it. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @Feathersclover Best buy employees always ask everyone if they need help!!! They approach everyone multiple times asking if they need assistance I'm pretty sure they work on commission lol that one I dont agree with 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

5 years, 11 months ago @sharifalhumaid8537 I believe discrimination is a sad part of humanity. Laws, media and education curriculum are the best ways to reduce the impact and bring justice to those affected. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @eerielconstantine5051 City really has a lot to with it. I’m a Hispanic in Houston, Texas, one of the most Hispanic places in Texas, and I’ve never really felt uncomfortable or felt like people have any prejudice towards me, but I didn’t know racism was still a thing until I was 19, so I may be super oblivious to these things still 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
5 years, 11 months ago @vs8909 My parents came to Canada as teenagers, and they are non-European immigrants. The kindest and most compassionate people Ive ever met and im not saying that because im their son but because its true, im nothing like them anymore. Being born and raised in Canada I have NEVER felt like this is my home or that I belong/am welcomed here. 2 WjmDwWUhEpg
6 years ago @toyairy7612 native americans have it worse than anyone by far. My nephew is native and he'll do fine. his parents are amazing and he's ridiculously brilliant so i don't see him doing anything but succeed, but a kid without the back up of a strong family and his IQ, heck i don't think it will go well. it does hurt his feelings, even at his young age the other kids he's in school with are very disappointing.\ni have witnessed this discrimination almost every time i am where natives are other than where they are well known. Little kids get looks that aren't at all admiring their cuteness....and they are plenty cute kids. I was shocked when it was told to me, unbelieving, thats when i started watching. 1 WjmDwWUhEpg
6 years ago @maxhope7691 I don't really understand one of experiences during my visit in Canada, I am a HongKonger and one time when I was visiting Toronto, some people with different ethnic background made a comment on my English, they said my English was good. But the fact that there are tons of Chinese/Hong Kong looking people living Toronto who speak perfect English or better than me. I really don't get this, those people who made comment are Indian, Russian, even Canadian born Chinese, they didn't even know I was just a visitor. I don't know much about the standard/definition of racism in Canada, is this incidence considered some kind of racism/stereotype? I am humbly asking for your perspectives on this. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

6 years ago @CountryDancingMan History repeats itself, is it still profiling? 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
6 years ago @vic902 Canada is full of racism and that’s a fact. There is not much of the difference with the States either. Only difference is that Canada’s racism comes in the form institutional and systemic racism. The states have a way bigger platform than Canada so their situations regarding racism will be covered more than Canada’s and also Canada hides behind the “it’s such a diverse country” statement to diverge from the issue of racism. Ask yourself this- Which country do you see a wider diverse representation of, concerning the people in power? In Toronto we just had our first black police chief(which was a big thing here) a few years back while in the States they’ve been having people of colour and many minorities in power. Representation of different ethnic backgrounds is an issue here but nevertheless the states still have a long way to go with racism. I love Canada so much but there is absolutely racism that this country will not bother to even acknowledge 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
6 years ago @waimeaguyz9074 born a person of color i envied white people with white skin and hated my skin color. later i grew to like my skin color and ultimately myself. it's who i am, a good person inside and out. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

6 years ago @niwlalf1 I came as a calify worker, and I've living in Canada for 1 year, often, you know, i don't want to go to the stores or simply just take a walk, because everytime that I cross with somebody, they apart the sight, or simply they just stared at me judging with their eyes, like if I own then something it's just awful. 6 WjmDwWUhEpg
