6 years ago @nu4chune Just like to say im middle eastern / Heinz 57 mix as i work construction i spend all day everday outside. By the end of the summer i become very very dark and the opposite is true come later winter months when ive almost fully lost my tan. I definately notice a lot more untrusted/weary attitudes towards me when im in the darker state. However in the lighter state those things seem to vanish. 6 years ago @nothingbutlovestaysafe6018 Just by seeing this makes me think if this is what was happening when I was in a cvs one time. I ordered some stones for my nails online but it was going to come later thin I needed so I seen cvs had some stones with a set of nails but I was not able to decide on what stones so I bought one of all the ones they had but I had a lady walk pass me so many times. I happened to notice after a week later a go back to pick up medication and they put the nails in the front of the store. Smh I have everything I need when it comes to my nails and know never buy it from cvs. They was high priced anyways. It cost me 32 dollars for the 10 stones at cvs and my order online was 25 for 100 stones. 1 WjmDwWUhEpg

6 years ago @davidr9876 For the shopping experience, they have the guys go in carrying hand bags. That's going to get their attention since shoplifters could easily put things into the bags and most people don't bring computer bags, hand bags etc when they shop.\n\nI've had instances where people were awful to me for no apparent reason (I'm white), and it struck me that if i was black, I would attribute the terrible treatment to racism since I couldn't think of any other reason for the bad treatment. \n\nAnother form of racism not covered here is the racism of low expectations. If people assume that you are too dumb to understand something or too poor to afford something, that's wrong. Same holds true for treating women as if they won't understand. Usually this behavior is done, not by bad people, but by people who just haven't had a lot of interactions with different people of different races. So they haven't had the chance to have those stereotypes personally disproven. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

6 years ago @clintnovaclaw After working in hospitality industry serving many people in local and international blacks don’t tip or undertip. I became more racial profiling towards black they tend to cause trouble, try to get every free service and tip only $1 for entire bill. 1 WjmDwWUhEpg

Being a person of colour, I feel like even I would have preferrence that can be judged as racisit. I have a question what will you call a girl who prefers to date a guy who is tall, fair ,good build, Is it her preference or she is racisit? 6 years ago @kuldippelia2255 In 2007, I called a property manager in Vancouver about renting an apartment, she told me that there's no vacancy. I was really interested in living in that area. After a few days, I called this building again. This time a South Asian women replied that they have an apartment available. I rented an apartment in that building. I found out that the building was owned by a South Asian family, but property managers were a Canadian couple. In 2012, I was looking for a rental apartment near Metrotown, Burnaby, BC. All property managers, refused me to rent in their buildings. They said they have no vacancy. I had never experienced such a blatant racism before that day. 1 WjmDwWUhEpg
