6 years ago @sandwichtube I’m a white guy that only speaks English. In Montreal the minority community treated me warmly. Giving extra food at restaurants, etc. In this case skin colour didn’t matter. Only that I fit into the minority. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

6 years ago @Ziteseve i mean ive worked alot of retail and we are generally trained to approach customers regularly... retailers like best buy if they are going from section to section will often have different staff approach them simply due to how employees are trained and the fact that generally they work off commission. i can see how this can be seen as being watched. if its the same staff member over and over thats a different story. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

6 years ago @omaoyelowo4369 I used to feel angry,when ignored by shop assistants,for whitees ,but I studied things closely,and found that whites dress up .....properly most of the time ,when going to these stores,and shabby looking white people dont get treated,better than blacks......so it gets down to the selfish silliness of the employee....as to who will actually buy their wares,and ensure their pay. You would think we as human with our high intelligence could know how closely related we all are but for some strange reason we cannot understand. I remember working in Macy’s and one day I was talking to a co-worker and I was saying how science has proven at one point or another everyone came from Africa . She said maybe me but not her. She was from Ecuador . I have one child and when he was 12 he truly did not see difference with anyone and I hope that feeling will be with him forever. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

6 years ago @margl6635 I'm a white older woman who refuses to dress up on my days off from work. I get followed around stores. I am afraid to leave a store for fear of being followed. I always have to show my receipts. I have been yelled at by young males of any background because I refuse to speed while driving. I was called a crazy drunk while crossing a parking lot. People seem to be being raised with very poor manners and a lack of respect for others. There is racism in every race or racial biases in every race. We all need to remember we are all actually the same race. It's called the human race. Remember we are all human beings and deserve to all be treated as such.\nWe are all human beings with plenty to offer each other. A new friendship, a wonderful meal, smiles, wisdom, wonderful stories, knowledge etc. I know I am racially profiled by others as well and wish it just wasn't there. Apparently because I'm white I believe I am first whatever that means. It is so much more comfortable when there are no seams. Love to yall 12 WjmDwWUhEpg
