6 years, 1 month ago @Evilroco This is a flawed test ,you get similar results from a whole range of physical characteristics such as beards spacing of eyes,symmetry of face and A study based on accents(UK Study) showed similar results north south based on where test was conducted being people being more comfortable/trusting of the society/group you grew up with is normal.\n If you test any racial/ethnic group you are likely to get similar results so it proves humans are human wherever they are.\n Please don't get me wrong racism exists and apart from being aware of unconscious bias toward your own identified group there is little most can do.\n\n\n This of course very different to overt and deliberate conscious acts of racism. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
6 years, 1 month ago @karonxls 8:17 BEST BUY Hello people Just before the COVID 19 pandemic struck our Country, in the United States of America. My son and I were shopping at Best Buy. We had more than five or six different people ask if we needed assistance. My Son would say no thanks, and I would ask each one that did ask if I needed help, to help me. That associate would show me where to look, then try real hard to get away from me. This happened at least five to six times. All six times, I said yes. Finally, they stopped asking me and continued to ask my son. The reason my son would say no thanks is because he was just looking. I, on the other hand, had questions about what I wanted to buy. They did a great job answering all of my questions, however, when it came to buying what I wanted to buy most of all of the associates had either left the area or went home, because I could not find anyone when it came down to purchasing the items I wanted, only to find out what I wanted was made in China, They no longer carry the product, in their stores, or online. However, they still had the items on display; however, you just could not buy them. P.S. We are white. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

6 years, 1 month ago @davidbadwiz85 In Canada there will be low key racism and I have been called the world n- word many times in Toronto but only by Latino Americans, twice by a Mexican in my school, once by Peru guy then by a russian and a vietnamese. But never by a Canadian. In Toronto you will likely face more racism because it's multi cultural than any other city. But you will face racism by people who are non Canadian but more from other countries that have not accepted different races. 1 WjmDwWUhEpg

Walking in Crystal Mall...get out of our country (Asian group of men to me)\n2. 6 years, 1 month ago @kandisgill9535 Two years ago at shoppers drug Mart at Victoria Park and Danforth in Toronto about 7:30 in the evening. I was stopped leaving the store the one security guard grabbed my arm my car was in plain view in wheelchair parking my son was in the car. They insisted I go back into the store to be searched I did not comply. At that time I was 62 years old and wearing about $30,000 in jewellery.I am seven generations Canadian on the black side and three generations Canadian on the White. I have been followed countless times in liquor stores department stores etc. On three occasions I have been followed around wearing my casino manager government identification. I do believe we all do profiling however not on colour of skin, but on how someone is dressed and suspicious action's. Only with bringing attention to this matter will it improve. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

My older daughter would frequent the local grocery store for her lunch regularly. When her younger sister began attending the same high school, she decided to join here sister at that store for lunch. Understand that my older euro daughter had been doing this every other day for the last year without incident or being approached once. The day she showed up with her sister, they were accosted by a woman who’d been “stocking the shelves” in every isle they entered and told, “you have to leave, I have better things to do than follow you around for an hour!”\nMy indigenous wife wanted to prove to me just how prevalent this was by asking me to stand an isle away from her in walmart in a near by city and sure enough, there was a person arranging the shelves a few meters away from her. 6 years, 1 month ago @samel5180 I work at retail and alarms go off all the time but one thing you should never ever do is grab, discriminate etc. You should ask them to see the receipt, this is to check the staffs error of scanning and sometimes theft. Most of the time its the staffs fault for leaving a tag on!! 6 WjmDwWUhEpg
