7 years ago @Izlandprincess1 Subconsciously we stereotype people and that to me is natural based on socialization. However, what you do and how it impacts people in reality makes a difference. 7 years ago @674SIDNEY hardware stores and walmart may be the only stores left. maybe we should protest these stores closing because it will contribute to the rise in unemployment. to save a few dollars may not be such a great thing when people are fired 2.1 million at walmart alone thats approx 41,000 per state can the state's unemployment benefits sustain that. look what happens when 2,000 per state are unemployed. employers are only concerned with profits we should be concerned with the workers. damn saving $20.00 a month. if we look at just our personal profit margins we're all going to pay in the end. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg
7 years ago @chrismanning1171 I work at Boeing and I cant get promoted. I was a sergeant in the Army. Now I am a Sergeant in the Guard. I came to the company with an associate degree in business management. Other people with no college at all are getting the promotions. And there is a bachelor's degree requirement. Several managers have told me its not about how hard you work but who you know. I am almost done with my bacholar degree. But, I dought I will get promoted because I am black. 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

7 years ago @VG-qu3vb I'm in the USA and I feel we view East Asians (Japanese Chinese Korean) as equal to or even more trustworthy than all other ethnicities. Also, the face covering is scary to anyone it reminds me of a ski mask. It has nothing to do with race, why would someone feel the need to hide their face? It's very telling. 7 years ago @Migaligaz Yes I ran into racial profiling when I wanted to ask why CBC is biased and won't report fairly. Being white and male, I was told that my opinion is invalid, and in spite of the taxes I pay for their wages, I don't have any say. Moreover, because I am male, CBC's supreme leader Trudeau has dictated I am not allowed any sort of platform. This is an important issue! Why do you think these sterotypes are so prevalent CBC? Crime statistics? Day to day crime by certain groups? CBC hates the question why because it conflicts with their bias as mandated by identity politics. Once I can walk through any place in Canada and not simply see, with my own eyes, the obvious differences between people based on color, or am treated like a direct decendant of slave owners by our state run media, maybe then the forty-thousand years worth of tribal cues ingrained in me will change. Are there really no examples of white men changing the narrative? No exmples you can provide for us devils to follow? No studies on private donors who are trying to help? Maybe it's time for me to stop, as there is absolutely no recognition of my attempts to make changes. The withdrawl of financial support is now my protest against your bias. 7 years ago @2380Shaw I'm a white guy and went to a black Barber shop. I was treated with respect and he did a very good job on the hair cut. Why can't all places treat all customers with respect? Every paying customer regardless of race should be treated with respect. I used to trip on people watching me when I was in stores, however today @ 53 I don't care, all I ever say is if they ever grab me then I will take action, until then I'll shop till I drop! The racism that goes on in the workplace as well as rentals will probably never end because some white people just don't want(minorities)around, and since there is no law on the books that says they have to then it will never change. The late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said that the Government could never make a law to govern the hearts of men, maybe it's because King knew back then that even though the majority of us might want change, there are still a lot of people who would not change simply because they don't know anything else, so anything short of an act of GOD they probably still would never make them change, because you can't force people to obey a law that in their hearts they feel is wrong!!! 0 WjmDwWUhEpg

7 years ago @karenvanzant1621 The problem with the racisim test is , that Black skin absorbed more light and therefore is harder to read as oppose to lighter skin colors. Therefore, when a lighter skin person raised around lighter skin peoplelook at darker people they tend to gaze longer trying to figure them out through their micro expressions. Darker skin people on the otherhand raised around drker skinned people are expert on micro expressionand can judge more quickly.
