1 year, 5 months ago @locusstandi8329 I've been to several embassies Western and other European Non Western embassies in India over the past 25 years and most of them don't allow Indian visa applicants inside the Embassy/Consulate. Some allow Indian visa applicants only at the entrance or only inside the gate not beyond. Others allow Indian visa applicants only at the gate and you hand your application and passport to the security. It depends on what kind of visa of course. If it's for tourism or a short term visa then you're not allowed inside. If it's long term then some embassies interview you so those embassies allow. But the embassies of those very countries in countries other than India are much more open and you can actually go inside the embassy and speak to consular officers etc. In India in most Western embassies and even some Non Western embassies you cannot do that unless you're applying for long term visa or immigration etc. 1 YhCUCDDeCak

But the behaviour of Indian Language speaking Tourist in these countries is really really horrible. No matter how much these sold out News Anchor or our leader peddle false narrative that Indians are respected our passport etc etc. Indians are least preferred cause of the attitude issue. I once saw a person who thought the air hostess in a Bhubaneswar- Thailand flight was a prostitute and started touching her and taking pictures. And total number of ranks are around 100, because there are 2-3 countries on single spot..slipping 5 rank mean slipping below 10-15 countries.. \nVisa on Arrival does not only depend on passport ranking, it depends on the host countries as well, e.g Kenya has made visa-free(Visa on Arrival) free for everyone accross the world. Most of of the touris friendly countries are issuing free Visa-on-Arrival just to boom their tourism sector...On the contrary, now we don't get any Visa-on-Arrival for any European country, earlier we had access of Visa-on-Arrival for Serbia. \nSituation is getting worse day-by-day, many countries are not accepting INR at the Airport(though you can exchange at their local market, but conversion rate is very poor) 1 YhCUCDDeCak

The countries who give them visas are fully aware that there are universities that earn them forex but this could be really damaging to their countries. What happened in Canada is of course an extreme case and other countries can probably learn from it \n\nAlso India should restrict exit and not give out loans to people who do not intend to return.
