We do have a bunch of muslim communities in Australia (the one's I've seen are in Sydney region) and I have heard the call to prayer, but it isn't a widespread thing. We also have schools which have predominantly hijab-wearing students (I think it was a girl's school in Sydney). But racism is unfortunately something that is common here. I wish it wasn't, because everyone deserves the right to respect and living in peace, its the most basic human right. Also as someone who socialises a lot with the lgbt and drag community I so respect your right to parent your kids as you choose. I have things I would teach my kids, and so do you. Hoping you all find the most comfy and safe home in the future. |

I have many muslim friends and they love it here in Canada, they know they have to adapt to to a new way of life. \nMaybe look into going to Pakistan or Malaysia, Afghanistan can be an option. \nDon't let the door hit you on your way out. |

I come from an Irish family and we always thought that we are free people after 1922 but politicians and cops destroy freedom for everyone in the the UK..its is not a way to live being controlled by cops and politicians so I am off next year |

i respect their decision. i wish all muslims in the western countries did that though I realize most cannot afford to. whih is why i believe western governments should initiate programs that finance muslim emigration. that can actually speed up the de-islamization of the western civilization. tbh, it's a win-win. |

May Allah makes it easy for you. As far as Palestine and genocide in Gaza, I'm afraid even some or many Muslim countries are complicit too as they were complicit with war in Iraq, Syria...etc. May Allah guide us all and unite us. So, as painful as it is, I would think that through from that perspective in terms of choosing another country. Also, as you know, unfortunately many of our countries don't offer path to citizenship or even permanent residency and you don't feel truly settled. Keep us posted! |

I left Canada for the same reasons. I am now happily living in Greece. The only thing I want to tell you is that the hijab is not a part of revelation or the Quran. Hijab means to cover the openings (pockets). The hijab is controversial because it was invented during the Abbasids and is not mentioned in the Quran. |
