I respect your decision but not necessarily I agree with your all reasons you gave.\nI am also first generation emigrant, my children born and raised in Canada.\nMe and my wife faced very harsh situation despite we both are well educated and skilled from our country of birth, and had very good life back home. We did nit came here for job or money. Assalamu'alaikum, I am from Indonesia, I should be more grateful that I live in muslim country that can hear the beautiful voice of adzan five times a day, easy to find halal food and also my mom provide me learned reading qur'an since I was a child, also feel the solemn of Ramadhan month with people reading qur'an every night from the masjid using speaker. That I believe I cannot hear on non muslim country. Thank you for your share and make me realize that I should thank Allah more. If you flip the coin, it's very interesting to hear stories from expats of Eastern European decent living in Canada - And they're all desperate to return back to their country of origin because they say Canada is saturated with many migrants from the Far-East (China) South-East Asia (India & Pakistan) and Africa. They say they feel lost in all that. Some of these have applied for working visa's to the U.S. It seems every group of the human race has their own agenda for wanting to relocate to other places, mainly for comfort and security. |
