In other words, they want to keep the refugees to use as a PR weapon against Israel, like they've done for decades. Israel absorbed all the Jewish refugees that Syria, Egypt and Jordan expelled in 1948 and 1967, but Jordan and Syria wouldn't take in ethnically Jordanian and Egyptian refugees. Why not? Because as refugees, they can be used as a thirn in the side of Israel. |

People don’t understand the tribalism in that part of the world. Arabs hate Arabs of other tribes. If Israel didn’t exist, and there were no investments or intrusions by others, there would be a massive Arab vs Arab war raging as I type….. \nIsrael and the west are simply common enemies of these tribes. When hate of another group is the only thing connecting another group… everyone loses. |

Palestinian refugees went to Jordan, caused so much chaos the Jordanian military tossed them out, they went to Lebanon, managed to destabilize that country, they supported Iraq in the invasion of Kuwait and got tossed out after that. History has shown what happens and Egypt and Saudi Arabia dont want it repeated in their countries |
