2 years, 4 months ago @sonjaclark9785 #3- Canada is not an Islamic country. Western Country, Western culture, and way of life. \nIf a Westerner moves to a Muslim country, they'll be expected to adjust to that culture. \nI do agree these two cultures do not mix, at all. 380 Ba65tdu6JQQ
2 years, 4 months ago @maryrosed8475 I am not Muslim but Canada is still a great country. A Muslim country will be a huge change and it does depend on the country. I lived in Morocco for 2 years and you are judged by your money. Really snobby people. They hate the poor and there are lots of poor people. Cost of Living has also increased. Lovely climate. No job opportunities for young people. I worked in Dubai for 6 months. All bling and only the 20 % have any proper say. Spent a holiday in Oman. Woman still kept back. Also might get caught up in Middle East conflict. Countries like Kuwait/Saudi etc very strict after freedom of Canada. Albania probably would not be strict enough for you. 60% percent Muslim. Had a holiday there about 10 yrs ago. Beautiful in summer and I believe still reasonable. Will be interested to see where you pick. I live in Ireland cost of living madly expensive!! I have cousins in Montreal. Have spent many vacations there. Why not try Vancouver for better weather? I just love Canada but all my immediate family are here. Will be in Canada again in September.\nReally living in a country just because of your religion in this day and age is not great. We now live in a Global World. If you have good family values that is all that matters. Anyway Good Luck but it is a big jump. 1 Ba65tdu6JQQ
2 years, 4 months ago @user-bt8dl6ey9q One of your comments stated there is no freedom of speech in Canada. Can you elaborate on what you mean. You seem able to openly use your social media platform to be critical of Canadian leadership and society without fear of reprisals from the authorities. Is that not free speech? \nOnce you relocate to a country with greater Islamic culture, do you anticipate having greater freedom to be critical of that countries leadership without consequences? 0 Ba65tdu6JQQ

2 years, 4 months ago @szzariff May ALLAH bless you and preserver you as a couple and family. I totally relate with you both. I would invite you to come to Houston, Texas USA - We have more than 100 masjid, very very strong Islamic presence and the most manageable cost of living. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. 0 Ba65tdu6JQQ

2 years, 4 months ago @nicoletabeliciu3176 Oau, I want to move to Canada,, looks like a good country to live in as a non muslim. 0 Ba65tdu6JQQ
2 years, 4 months ago @larrycanada2100 The Christian/Atheist West will never fully accept practicing Muslims. They will tolerate it because we need young bodies and it allows them to feel three powerful human emotions: superiority, pity and, for many, disgust. Another reason to leave for a Muslim country is you will be lucky if one of your grandchildren are practicing Muslims. The power of culture is far greater than parental influence over a couple of generations. I know very little about Islam but if this important to you , the West is not the place for you. \n\nAs a non practicing Christian, I hear these sentiments from Christians all the time who assume I am one of them. Many barely tolerate Jews even though they have been here for generations and are very economically productive. \n\nIf your husband has professional skills, the Gulf States are a good choice. Also Pakistan as they have more security due to possessing nuclear weapons which I guarantee no other Muslim country will possess in our lifetime. Pakistan hopefully will develop over time. \n\nGood luck. 1 Ba65tdu6JQQ

2 years, 4 months ago @margotperez-majul807 I agreed with you ? about the number one reason. So tell me where are you going then?… of course some countries in Central and South America are not supporting this genocide, but have others types of problems. You will always find something that you won’t like. So good luck with your journal. \n\nBy the way, we moved 40 years ago to the USA and at this time, when my husband is retiring we are looking to move somewhere else ?…. 0 Ba65tdu6JQQ
2 years, 4 months ago @Paddysavage4738 spread the word by all means. Canada is cold and miserable most of the year as you need to stay indoors, Travelling to work when it’s dark in the morning and coming home when it’s dark, how can that be enjoyable. People who enjoy living in very dry warm climates should live there. Housing would be much cheaper in most Muslim countries and no need to have the heater on 24/7 just to stay warm . The sports is so different, Grid Iron in summer and Hockey in winter. Soccer is much easier and to play Cricket all you need is a bat, stumps and a ball and off you go all day.? 5 Ba65tdu6JQQ

2 years, 4 months ago @Ahmed-wh2xn Come to Egypt. I'd be happy to host for a while.\n\nEdit: I used to be a Montrealer, but I left for the same reasons.\nI didn't leave because of the Islamophobia (I actually didn't face a lot of that), but my quality of life was much better when I lived in the middle east.\n\nI think Canada is a great country, but it's not really that much better than living in Egypt. 1 Ba65tdu6JQQ

2 years, 4 months ago @sophieb8578 FYI There are many religions in Canada. Why should one get special treatment? If you have to be called to prayer. then you are not praying because you want to but because you have to. Plus religions were created to control the masses. You don't need to go somewhere o pray, you can do it anytime anywhere when you want. 0 Ba65tdu6JQQ
2 years, 4 months ago @ayeshasiddiqi2193 MashaAllah good for you that you have means to do that \nMay Allah subhanaotalaa bless your decision with HIS rahma ameen \nJust pray dua of istikhara where ever you go and Allah will bring peace and ease to your family InshaAllah \n\n\nFOR OTHERS WHO CANT MIGRATE \n\nDon’t feel bad bc it’s will of Allah and you might be the reason for someone to accept Islam or may be someone from ur generation ahead might be able to bring a big impact in west, islamically \n\nI went through this phase too where I prayed and prayed that I could move somewhere else when my kids were babies \nBut then I told myself that not accepting Allahs will by heart is not good and I didn’t had means to move \n15 yrs later\nAlhumdulillah kids go 5 times to Masjid living in mississauga paying high rent but I’m satisfied Alhumdulillah and v hopeful that InshaAllah Allah will use us for HIS deen here 0 Ba65tdu6JQQ
2 years, 4 months ago @peterdewar8592 Where are you guys moving to? There are some pretty bad Muslim countries? Move to any large Canadian city. You can pray openly. If you don't like snow, move to Vancouver. Good luck finding a better country. 0 Ba65tdu6JQQ

2 years, 4 months ago @pat_peter You don't waltz into someone's home and try to make it yours, instead be humble, courteous and show gratitude for the accommodation. Canada has been my home for the past 23 years. I will consider myself as a successful immigrant, my son born in Canada is at leading engineering university. My wife fulfilled with her career. Hard work and commitment to live and let live will take you far. Your personal belief and ideology should stay in your basement. I Respect your decision, good for yours and Canada's future. 3 Ba65tdu6JQQ
