5 years, 4 months ago @phroot3260 If you don’t think racism exists in Canada, just do some research about the indigenous women in prison. Do some research about the indigenous and black peoples who go missing and aren’t given a second thought. Canada is just better at hiding it. Google is free. 3 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 4 months ago @ThisIsEffy Let’s talk about re-furnishing the training of RCMP/Police officers. Instead of defunding them. We need law enforcement, but law enforcement that isn’t stereotype-driven. 0 7GmX5stT9rU

5 years, 4 months ago @kingnathiii1927 Being mentally distressed doesn't mean they are not dangerous. There is so much cops or social workers can do if the person is running at them with a knife. 1 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 4 months ago @MahadevEternal Nobody's better than anyone and we're all bad to each other and that's what makes us equal. 5 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 4 months ago @honee1985 Police are paid by taxpayers to protect the people that don't pay taxes. Let that sink in. Worldwide systematic. Break the infrastructures that make these systems exist. 0 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 4 months ago @rl9296 I went to both public and private schools in quebec. In public schools there was a huge amount of racism, especially from the French Canadians. Private schools were a lot better. 1 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 4 months ago @Ergot59 but quebec is special, the chosen province. 1 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 4 months ago @jimone732 I said it before and I will say it again\n\nSystematic racism is worse in canada than in the U.S.\n\nBut more well hidden in a real evil genius way 6 7GmX5stT9rU

5 years, 5 months ago @pandbgt01 Racism has existed due to bullying and outright discrimination. We need to keep going and everywhere is different. 0 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 5 months ago @m.taylor It is nuisance for a person who steps out of his/her home to have to be hypervigilant in the event of verbal assaults just for the way he/she looks. 2 7GmX5stT9rU

5 years, 5 months ago @marcomiranda6574 I went to Canada once and I didn't see any of that. Maybe my staying was too short, maybe this whole video is an exaggeration, maybe I didn't interact with regular Canadian people for too long, but the short time I had the opportunity to do so I didn't see any racism in Canadian people. 1 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 5 months ago @alioannis I will be studying in Canada soon should I be worried? ??? 4 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 5 months ago @houssemboughdir8788 systemic discrimination is in Algeria and north african countries we are still in occupation. 2 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 5 months ago @FondestAlloy56 People LOVE talking how much better we are than America but once we look in the mirror it seems we get really upset, disappointing, I thought we were better? 1 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 6 months ago @paulsaul2487 This issue has long needed attention and fixing 2 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 6 months ago @claudiusgordon4458 Institutional racism otherwise known as systemic racism is a form of racism that is cemented as normal practice within society or an organization. It can lead to such issues as discrimination in criminal justice, employment, housing, health care, political power, and education, among other issues 13 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 6 months ago @gustavofranciscoanesrangel6623 I find hilarious the irony of the government and people thinking that putting in place legislation for specific groups of people (Latino, black, Asian , etc.) Is going helping to promote inclusion. Wouldn't it be better to just putting in place laws that apply to every citizen equally, regardless of race and culture? Why do we have to have special treatment just for our ethnicity? That kinda defeats the point of inclusion 4 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 6 months ago @alir3556 It exists big time. 0 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 6 months ago @256alexdt We have to stop pointing at races, colors, nationality, religion for reparation ... we need to focus on the real issue ... you have big corporation getting out of control, billionaire now becoming trillionaire. That is crazy knowing that a lot of us are stuck at the bottom and real estate is getting unattainable, some part of the world people don't even get clean water ... wealth distribution is terrible and is getting worst every months. There's a need for a reset button, it's okay that you make money and that some go to your kids but there should be a limit of how much wealth one group of people should be able to get. Government aren't the solution because people in power there are put in place by the same group that need to be corrected ... 2 7GmX5stT9rU

5 years, 7 months ago @sunnybayimmigration Sure there is racism. As a Chinese born in Canada, this does exists. It is just a polite type of racism. I saw that in school and in the university and at the graduate level in research. 62 7GmX5stT9rU

5 years, 9 months ago @sizzlacalunji While watching this, my eyes popped open when it indicated why the police was created. Police was created for similar reasons in Jamaica. To suppress dissent from slaves. 0 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 9 months ago @rayva1 Their not any different from the U.S. The only difference is that their racism is verbally open and blatant. Here in the U.S. they use subtle ways by manipulating their bureaucratic system to express it indirectly. 2 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 9 months ago @mckensyq Just because you haven't experienced racism doesnt mean it doesnt exist. If all your friends look like you you don't know 16 7GmX5stT9rU

5 years, 10 months ago @TKRevRay971 I am from the USA. I want to move to Canada one day and escape this hell. I've read many comments and I only have one question. Will I be safe in Canada? Can I get a good job? Will I have a fair chance? If I start a family will they be safe and not judged by the color of their skin like I am in the US? :(\n\nThat's all I want to know. Thank you :) 1 7GmX5stT9rU

5 years, 10 months ago @emmyo6678 Every July 1st holiday I mourn for the native peoples whose lands, way of life and freedoms were changed forever. It is difficult to celebrate colonization, genocide and racism. I am Caucasian by the way. ? 12 7GmX5stT9rU
5 years, 10 months ago @johnwang9914 Even if action was taken against the systemic racism against the blacks and natives not only would it still exist but there would still be significant racism towards immigrants and any other visible minority indeed that racism would be literally unchanged. The best we can hope for is to continually bring racism to light. The fight against racism never ends. 1 7GmX5stT9rU
