2 years, 11 months ago @anitamcgrath906 Guilty-web, I don’t think that you would want to move to Florida now. The dictator DeSantis is doing his best to ruin this state. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @nadz109 I would move to Texas in a minute 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @TheNmecod As a Quebecer, culturally it would be intolerable for me to live and be happy in America. Even outside of language. Maybe NYC or Philly but outside of that I don’t see it as a feasible place to live and prosper following my values and current cultural norms. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @alisonnewall1748 No 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Phoenixavalone The very fact that the US, in your experience, is NOT talking about children's safety in school IS the problem 201 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @davidbrassard9125 You really want your kids to witness a school shooting or two? Hurray for guns 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @jeannierenton7542 The problem with the US is that a lot of the population wants to go back to the 1950’s instead of moving into the future & those people even though they are not the majority, that particular party seems to get in every 4 years or so even though they don’t win the popular vote. This is a ridiculous situation that the rest of the world doesn’t get it??‍♀️ 22 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @morganthomas1835 Best video yet. I thought Tyler might cry for a second. You have a 1 in 89 chance of being shot over your lifetime. I'd only like these odds if I was playing the lotto! 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @barkobama7385 You have more than one mass shooting a day. No thanks. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Dopinders_Taxi I'd move there but i don't think it would be permanent like a recent comment said I'd rather go down east to Newfoundland or go out west and enjoy the Rockies 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @mikejulien2330 Even if you are in a place that hasn’t had a shooting in the local school, seems like locking doors and metal detectors and police in the school are everywhere because of it. That just implies that it’s something to be afraid of. Just thinking about those “security measures” makes American schools sound like prisons. Add on that any time there is a shooting that the problem is “the door wasn’t locked”, or “the cop wasn’t fast enough” instead of facing the facts that your gun laws are ridiculous… it’s amazing Americans DON’T fear for their kids lives… 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @RatonInd Lot of older Canadian people lives half of the year in Florida, but come back the other half (summer) to keep their access to the Canadian health care. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @garbuckle3000 As a middle aged, single white guy with no children, making an average wage in Canada... you couldn't even pay me double to move to the US. Even during my one week visiting Vegas and San Diego, I always had an uneasy feeling that anything could happen at any time. But yeah, throw in the health care, political and other issues... pass. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @jessiehogue. You mention how Americans don't really speak much about the safety of their kids in school... I have another take on it; please correct me if I'm wrong. Americans *do* actually talk about it, except that their solution to the problem was 'more guns', wasn't it?\n\nWas there not a recent change about getting armed guards in schools, and at least a suggestion to give guns to teachers? I think I remember that in the news of the last couple of years. So I think they're concerned too, they just had a different response to it than Canadians. 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @karenwaugh2007 Nope I’m Canadian not American. I Love my Country. Canada ?? is the best. I don’t want Canada to become like the USA ??.. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @MoringAfterStar I don't know if you know this Tyler but America just hit its final hour, 250 years is the expiration date for empires and your United States just hit that mark. Plus have you seen the way Canadians have socialized systems that give us a high quality of life. Our current government is still capitalist but I currently can't be kicked out by federal mandate if I keep paying rent, the liberals have put this provision in place because the housing market is out of control. The liberals under Trudeau also helped the first nation's people more than ANY priminister to date and he dealt with the mass graves the best a light skinned priminister could. He's facing the same issues Biden is facing, the Koch brothers and Peter Thiel are pumping out propogada like transphobia, climate change, trickle down economics and poisoning the left by buying up publications with there infinite dark money.\n\n56 billion was spent last year on influence alone, That means 100,000 Americans saving ALL their money for 10 years would just match Koch influence powers they have in 1 year. \n\nYour housing market was destroyed by the Koch Brothers, they destroyed our water supplies up north fracking bitumen out of the land. \n\nThen when Koch wanted to leave the oil sands they made a propoganda piece pointing the blame at Trudeau.\n\nSo ya, no one wants to go to he country Koch brothers already control 100% were being fought over by Peter thiel who isn't any better. 0 O0gJtVar7_E

2 years, 11 months ago @Polararies We’d gladly send you Canada’s version of MAGATS and their leader Pierre Polievre! 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Nastyboy269 I’d move to a blue state, but I won’t even visit a MAGA Red State even as a tourist. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @SifuSkip I'm shocked that you're shocked that Canadians consider American gun violence. From 2009-2018, USA had 288 school shootings. The next highest is Mexico with 8. Canada had 2. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @TreenaFrook I am Canadian and I have two cousins who moved to the USA. One lives in Texas and one in Kansas City both have said they would never move back to Canada. My 25 year old son is also moving to Texas soon. My husband and I had the opportunity to move to Augusta Georgia from Alberta. We chose not to because our kids were still in high school. Had we known our son would be moving to the States anyways, we would have made the move. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @hditoylfjs You should read about this guy who tracked school shootings across the states and when he masturbated. He found that there were more school shootings than times he masturbated. It helps to put things into perspective. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Al-E-Gator I'm Canadian and no way in hell would I ever live in the US. Sure, there may be cool places and stuff, but 1. no way would I give up the healthcare. 2. I'm disabled and in a wheelchair so can't offer anything work-related which would mean no health insurance or $. It would be a very bad thing for me. 3 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @susanmacdonald4288 There are places in the States that I love to visit (although not right now, because I've never had a passport). I used to be in a drum corp, and we did a lot of parades and field shows down there in New York State and Pennsylvania, and had a great time. But I would never move there. I probably couldn't afford health care there anyway. My niece married a lovely guy from Maine, and he was planning on moving up here, but for unexpected family reasons, they ended up staying there. But he is increasingly worried about the political climate. 3 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @jessiehogue. I gotta say, though. I'm a French Canadian, and as far as I - and most people I know - am concerned, I love our southern brothers in general, and the few times I've visited the U.S, it was fun and we met a lot of nice, friendly people. So as a tourist, going to the U.S is great.\n\nBut yeah, I wouldn't want to live there *compared to where I am* because we have a lot of great things here which I'm told by many are just a dream right now in the U.S. Now, if we compare the U.S to many other countries out there, I'd pick them over a lot of others. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @patduclos Aaaaaah hearing an american say tabarnak made my day 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @YARKONE Strategic moving to the states, be white, rich and protestant. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @ezgezg8618 ? for Edmonton ? 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @noraelliott7304 I go occasionally to US for vacation but no, I would not move there. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @TheHotmitch People who are still proud of being Canadian have blinders on. I used to be proud of being Canadian but this country is completely broken and living amongst people that are actively voting to strip me of my rights is painful. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @rayemigh3776 HELL NO I WONT GO unless they issue flak jackets at the border and a bullet proof riot shield 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @hoodatdare7039 I CAN ONLY THINK OF ONE RESON. IF A CANADIAN LIKES DODGING BULLETS HE WOULD MOVE TO THE U.S. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @eddyk9174 Id say America spends lots money why not just pay every Canadian 1 million dollars and buy Canada LOL. Id say that's the only way some would move to the united states. But in reality some would move and some would not move to the USA, would be interesting to see percentage. Count me in the NO though. I don't mind visiting the USA though. There is good and bad places to live in every country in the end. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Colbadore As an Albertan this makes me sad. All of the things people think are better in Canada are being attacked here. Healthcare is slowly moving towards privatization. Several of our political candidates are reminiscent of the crazier US conservatives. There is a pro gun subset that is getting more vocal. Our new minister of Healthcare is a pro-lifer. 2 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Kiera_Jackson74 Most of the Americans I've met in America in their native land have always been the nicest people I've met. Nicer than Canadians sorry 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @deaconknight9658 I can literally go to the doctor with a sniff of my nose being different than the sniff I am used to having without being charged anything. The doctor will explain to me that nothing is wrong by having different sniffs and will explain how the sniffs use different parts of the nose. If the doctor is concerned about anything they will make an appointment with a specialist that concerns your problem. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nt 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @kevinchoong3485 Tyler, the gun laws in the United States are ridiculous! A person can get a gun at the age of 18 but can't buy a beer, pack of cigarettes or see an R rated movie. School shootings happen in small towns too. Uvalde is barely over 15,000. I don't think the founding fathers had your current gun culture in mind when the Constitution was written. Look up Japan's gun laws. That's the model all countries should follow. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @OceanTide231 Healthcare in Canada is falling apart, our prime minister is trying to turn us into a dictatorship, cost of living has gone extreme especially buying a house.......Canada is not Canada at the moment, I would wait before moving here yet lol. I would not go to the states however I've considered other places. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @The_hippy.siren_named_saphira The cost of living in the world is outrageous as it is!!! I couldn’t imagine having to budget in a bulletproof, backpack and bulletproof vest as school supplies on top of everything else because idk about y’all but I wouldn’t buy them at Walmart or Kmart hahahah! And fyi Canada isn’t as accepting as the propaganda makes it seem! The idea people have is what I like to call a maple washed idea that the media puts out there 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @perrybernard1308 With everything going on in the US right now, I think most Canadians feel like they're living above a meth lab... sorry, not trying to be a prick, just saying.. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @nyliram9249 As a quebecoise, canadian french, I think we're still far from all problems in the USA. But we shouldn't forget that there are 300 millions more american people than us, canadians. The more we'll grow as population, the more problems of all kinds will follow. So no, i would never move to USA, it's a fact, but I think it's a little unfair to compare both countries. Plus, Canada tends to be more and more influenced by USA and their politics... And we're no safe anywhere in the world. There are not a lot of them, yet, but still, we've got also few mass violence shootings increasing for more than 10 years now. It exists here too. Nothing happens in a small village because we don't expect it to happen most of the times. But as beautiful as Canada may look, I can tell you it will never be the same again. The only thing we can do is enjoy it while it lasts. And no, Tyler, you're nothing average! :) 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @Moetastic Pre-911, I went to Maryland as a kid for the summer to stay with family, I thought the US was a magical, amazing place.\n\nNow I still think the U.S. is great, but Im a lot more grounded and realistic about it now. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @PJAvenger I would only move partially, as in December to March to a warm state, but prices are too high now since covid, I can't work it.\nPlus politics in the USA is beyond help, they prefer permitless concealed weapons to safety and education.\nI know not every American is like that, I probably like 70% of you - but the 30% are mass shooting and stealing classified documents.\nAnd your voting system is wrong, term limits in the SCOTUS must be set as well as the rest of your gov. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @miket7749 Tyler, I have two American friends that have been living here for years. I am pretty sure it is stable health care is the reason that they have stayed here all these years. 2 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @isisemkeb You have insurance through your job. But what happens once you have no more job : lay offs, retirements, whatever ?!?!?? 1 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @ElderDarkWolfoftheNorth For me...I didn't mind visiting the States but to live there? No thanks. I live in Northern Ontario. My health for one, but I never felt comfortable down there at all. (been right down to GA for Dragon Con. A sci-fi/gaming/movie etc convention and other things) I have good friends down there so visiting is fine, but I just can't. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @pStabs Canadian here. Not interested in living in the USA. The reversal of women's rights, the discord about trans people, the evangelical right...too much hate. Too many guns. I love my American friends, I wish they lived here instead. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
2 years, 11 months ago @007REAPER007 As a Canadian, yes I would consider it but it would have to be a southern State because warm yearly weather would be a big factor for me. 0 O0gJtVar7_E
