3 years, 5 months ago @trapOrdoom Dawg, Van Nuys to Long Beach?! Nahh that’s doable. Try fam in AB, and some in ON. Shit some in QC and ON. Easily 6-12+ hour drives depending which city in each province.\nEDIT: y’all live in QC… CoL cheap there; yes, but Provincial taxes high asf. Also, QC had to cry all day long to get all these extra Fed favors. 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @brianpj5860 Central Canada be pretty rough living. Stick near the coasts, its where the beauty and the money is at. \n\nI live in smack dab in the Middle of Canada (204 Winterpeg represents) and not only is the weather Ruthless, but the people can be too.\n\nDont bethinking its safe out here. I was one(of many) witnesses to our city’s 45th murder last year(2022) which averages out to about 1 homicide a week, give or take. (i work security, so i do see alot of fuckshit) 0 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 5 months ago @matty-yp7zi Personally i'm ok with boring politicians. They are not voted to entertain us, they are here to help progress and make the country better. This popularity contest in the states with words over actions is just plain dumb. There are numerous ways to be entertained in life, don't need it in politics. 1 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 5 months ago @KarimKarim-xy9py US pays more in salary for same types of jobs so that’s why they pay more in cost of living. Also It’s cheaper in the states to own a home than Canada. The housing market is cheaper in US. 2 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 5 months ago @KingBongsly So I've learned from bouncing about the world in the United States major cities aren't appealing because denser populations have a major lack of mental health help and you're more likely to be assaulted or robbed but in smaller local communities which actually make up the majority of our country there's more support and safety less crime but the problem in those places is you're sooo far away from everything 1 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 5 months ago @169abr Canada has its perks but I’ll always take a place that has more freedoms over this heavy govt control over your medical choices and the way you live. 4 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 5 months ago @skylord9688 I’ve been to Canada (Toronto, Scarborough to be exact) at least 2-3 times when I was married to a Canadian and I can say that I had very good experiences except for dealing with some of the French. Definitely a culture shock in some aspects. The diversity is very strong which is a plus. Only downsides are the gun laws and the unavailability of sweet tea (yeah I’m southern). But overall Canada is very nice.\n\nBut one thing you’re not lying about is the WATER. Different locations in the states have different tasting water. If you want water that smell like eggs then Florida is your spot. If you want fresh water, buy a water well. \n\n\nYour experiences may vary. 1 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @maddog7012 Something to keep in mind is (if I remember correctly) 80+% of the Canadian population lives within 50 miles of the U.S. border. So it's easier to spread the money around where as our population is pretty speard out east coast to west coast. 1 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @hakeemabdella2304 US cost of living is high but comparing Montreal to LA is weird, my own limited experience with Canada has lead me to believe that Montreal is by far and away the cheapest major city to live in in Canada. Vancouver and LA or Seattle might be apt comparison. 39 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @Lumberjackman I have been living in Victoria for the last 7 years and its soul crushing rent but living on the island is worth it. 1 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 5 months ago @JERRODQ 2 things that came to mind was i'm surprised you didn't mention healthcare. Lifelong american, figured that would be one of the top things. But, one thing on the cost of living, kind of like ya'll said on the america being 40 counties, the cost of living varies so wildly. LA, New York, those biggest cities are crazy expensive to live in, even compares to the rest of america 8 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @walterrochester9335 My wife had a business trip in San Diego just last week where she and her coworkers were set up at a resort for a few days. Her coworkers were all making fun of her for ordering water bottles and not drinking the tap water. Tap water here is gross everybody. 118 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @Ultra_Sauce Everyone I’ve met from the south has had a way about them that’s just eager to please (barring inner cities) while anyone on the coast or north is just out to be an asshole 1 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @LittleBarbiex0 NYC isn’t as racially segregated as other places in America. Different racial and ethnic groups do live more side by side with each other. 2 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @ReformedSooner24 The foods America does best are BBQ, Tex-mex, and homestyle foods. \n\n\nBut yes Chikfilia is also amazing 2 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @gamb1t St. Louis tap water is the best 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @alexschneider8494 See, cities being less compact is something that I prefer. I hate super compact cities. Also, you can’t compare cost of living in LA to cities in Canada. The cost of living in California or NY is considered outrageous for most of the US. I’ve been to Canada and remember thinking it was way more expensive than where I’m from. You can say nobody wants to live in the other places, but I personally don’t mind. I have no interest in being in the “hubs.” Oh, and tap water varies here too. I’ve been all around the US and St. Louis area tap water is amazing whereas some places I’ve been it’s terrible. Really just depends. 6 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @Dvrkwulf I would never live in Canada. They’re so far gone with the hyper-progressive nonsense, the covid restrictions, arresting ppl for using the wrong words. Pfft, that country will never see me. 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @jordonspence5633 I agree about tap water in Canada being better than the United States unless we talking New York. 1 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 5 months ago @toby6540 I'm English, and a massive difference is the food. The food there feels so fake and processed, feels like I'm eating chemicals (if its not fresh fruit, veg or meat). Guaranteed to feel sick for the first couple of days. \nI watched those food wars videos comparing UK and USA food, and it all made sense. The ingredients lists there is like a science experiment. crazy. 65 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @jerome6191 I can't fuck with tap water in general 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @hira6560 Oooh Chik-Fil-A was pretty addictive (but my weakness was actually Culver's lol)! I will say my experience was sort of different from yours with regards to expenses and cost of living - but then I was in a not-so-major, just-starting-to-grow city in Texas. I also like the idea of having a choice with regards to weather in the U.S. - like if you want more summer and shorter winters with not as much snow, you can move south without crossing a national border. I love gardening so being able to finally have enough sun to grow some plants made me happy. 37 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @drogon2988 The unfortunate thing is, a lot of people can't talk about simple truths. And if you try to, you will be called a racist, because facts and statistics are racist apparently. But if you look at the crime statistics database, something like 90% of violent crime is committed by black and Hispanic men between the age of 18 to 45. If you removed that demographic from America, America would be like some future Utopian world where all we knew was peace. So those demographics need to be allowed to be talked about if we want to be able to find solutions and solve those problems. And no, giving reparations would never solve stop those crimes. It's a cultural things that's kept around by bad parenting, poor education, and their surroundings. Sweden is a perfect example where they had nearly 0 crime until they started letting in black refugees from all over. Grape, robbery, and assaults all went up by not 20, 30, 40, 50%. Not even 100%. Those crimes went up by like 400% or more. Women who had lived there their whole lives now had to walk the streets in fear. White men had to now be worried about getting assaulted or stabbed by immigrants who were hitting on his girlfriend in clubs. Or watch what he said back to a refugee who mouthed off to him trying to start shit. They are completely disrespectful and unappreciative of being allowed to live there and be given government assistance. This is how people become prejudice. They SEE how other cultures act and treat them, and they don't want anything to do with them because they simply fear for our safety. 1 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @tayw6466 Great video guys I really enjoyed it. I wish I knew how many different towns you guys have really tested the tap water up there, because in the US the tap water changes drastically depending on where you go, in California they import a lot of their water so it travels a long way from the source, and it has to be treated, usually with chemicals, to keep it safe to drink. But there are many places where you can get better tasting water if its somewhere that doesnt import, and doesnt have heavy treatment for the water. Even in california it can chance from town to town, I know I lived in Dublin, CA for a while and they have such fresh tasting water but if you go just a couple towns over it taste nasty again. Also apartments are notorious for having worse tasting water cause it has to go through all sorts of plumbing to get up to your floor and that can effect it. Anyways Thanks guys, peace 1 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @bjs301 If you're not into hiking, hunting or fishing, Canada is just boring. You mentioned Columbus, Ohio. I just looked up the stats, and Columbus had 43 million visitors in 2019. Toronto, a much bigger city, had 28 million. I'm not suggesting Columbus is a great tourist spot. The world knows our great tourist spots. The best thing I've discovered about Toronto is that the police won't bother you when you drive past it at 95 mph. 2 4lD0_fuB7qA

3 years, 5 months ago @amberfox3220 Got me at tap water ??? 1 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @xelvania1581 - No rights to own guns\n- Speech laws\n- No rights to meaningfully protest authoritarian measures (as seen when the government arrested people & froze their bank accounts)\n- MAID program (this is beyond evil. 10k people in the last year alone in a country with a fraction of the U.S's population?)\n\nJust a few examples out of the many more I could probably find with enough research. But 'muh free healthcare', right? Which isn't even that great considering the ineptitude of the whole system. When someone's trying to use your 'free healthcare' to get a wheelchair lift installed in the house, and because of the very long wait you're instead offered medically assisted suicide, you know your system is far from great. 2 4lD0_fuB7qA
3 years, 5 months ago @eveningswan4491 Honestly feel like population is a huge factor between these 2 countries. The states each one is a different state different people run they all have different problems cultures idk why some people try comparing. Also as for tap water I work in that industry Canada treatment isn’t any different then down here it depends on the source and the process 0 4lD0_fuB7qA
