10 months, 2 weeks ago Yakine_nylo I used to defend indians whenever a fellow construction worker is on them however now I don’t bother since most of them showed deep coldness and slick behaviour like racism towards blacks, natives and Asian, smear campaign on job sites to get other contractors fired and of course the job will most likely be handed to them. Was disgusted when realising that some of them are getting paid 13/hr. To be short, this people are terribly dreadful and malignant in so many ways just really good at hiding it. We cannot erase the past, but we can acknowledge it and learn to live with respect. But to the wave of immigrants who came after 2017—listen carefully: you are ruining the very country you ran to for safety and opportunity. Too many of you are uncivilized. You don’t respect others. You lie, you cheat, you act without humility or integrity, you always go for short cut, you stink. You take advantage of a system you never helped build, and you give nothing back in return. This country was built on respect, honesty hard work, and accountability—values you seem to ignore. If you cannot live by those principles, then you don’t belong here. Canada is not here to lower itself to your standards. Either rise up, learn the values that make this country strong, or stop pretending you deserve the opportunities that others fought for. I agree with the frustration - I find myself cringing at the videos of people violating public norms of decency, and the job market is really bad now for services as companies are employing a lot of migrants for a cheaper price. Immigration control, regulation of companies so they cant go below a %age of Canadian citizen/residents along with effective government stimuli to boost the economy by targetting certain industries will tackle a lot of the problems. As for people discarding garbage anywhere and other unwanted behavior - name and shame. These videos are also going public at least in India as a source of great shame and the more eyes on it, the less people will repeat things of this nature. 0 OERqtxI7nf0

Yes, you can keep aspects of your own culture, but the expectation was that you become Canadians first and foremost. I don't see that with many new immigrants today. I'm tired when I'm on a call with someone it always ends up being someone with an extremely thick accent to the point where I have to decipher what they're saying. I've kept most of this frustration to myself cause I don't want to be racist, but it's getting over to that boil over point. It honestly feels like we're slowly being taken over. Some businesses with labor shortages are helped with the settlement program with administrative support. Hiring specific migrants instead of Canadians is a company decision is pure capitalism. House crisis is a global issue, capitalism (investment vs basic human rights). Inflation is an economic issue. The most wanted criminals in all of Canada, are Canadians. Look into the police web pages, go yourself and see the pictures and names. Blame migrants is a global tactic used 100 years ago by different politics to get elected with the promise of a solution. Migration exists with humanity, economic crises are modern issues.
