The BIG reason Montreal is so cheap is because it’s in French speaking Quebec. As soon as you go outside Montreal - you better speak perfect French or people will despise you - literally. All the other major Canadian cities are experiencing similar issues as major American cities. I am very well travelled. |

There’s a reason why every country in the EU is called a state. Germany is a state. France is a state. You don’t need your passports to travel between these states. Just like the US, you don’t need a passport to travel between states. Only difference is in the EU, states have different languages. Some have different currencies. But the majority use euros. |

Outside of NY & New England (which has GOOD quality water) the tap water in the States is not trustworthy.\n\nAlso the US has better intercity plane AND train travel. Amtrak is Golden compared to Via Rail. |

The States have beautiful ocean beaches. Our east coast ocean beaches is so cold it can kill you.\nAmericans give the best customer service.\n\nMy Dad (Montreal, Canada) receives a small monthly American pension, since he worked a few years in the State back in the 70's. He had an issue with it and asked me to call their customer service. I managed to find the appropriate tel# in 5 minutes. Call and actually spoke with a person who answered our concerns and gave us a solution. I told her they need to come to Canada to train our CRA agents. |

I have no idea what you are talking about. The rent in Cambridge ontario is 3500 for a normal house. \nIf you wanna take a bus to Brantford, which is straight down the main road, there is no bus. \n\nCanada is horrible for moving around without a car. |
