He threatens republican congressmen with harm and even death so he can control them. He is mentally unstable and ready to be committed in a mental facility. What will it take to get our congressmen to stand up for the good hardworking people of the USA instead of for a man who is hell bent on making the usa his oersonsl dictatorship.

Americans need to understand: this is an *existential* threat to Canada. We cannot forget this, even if the tariffs go away tomorrow. We now *have* to diversify away from the US to the extent possible. This is a permanent change.

As an American. I don't think it was a good thing to bully other countries, especially allies and neighbors. There are other diplomatic ways to do things. I am not left or right, but I felt like Obama and Clinton had better ways with international relationships. I know our leader are trying to do their best for us Americans, and well we have been helping other countries for decades. Maybe, it is time that other countries start paying us back. I don't know why every move has to be on the media though? Especially the bullying with Zelensky? They could have talked over it without showing it to the whole world. What do yo guys think? Was that even necessary?

Trump will not stop at this! He already said that he wanted to replace IRS with ERS (External Revenue Service). Trump wants to replace Income Tax with Tarrifs !!\nYes! MAGA will laugh and say No More Tax for all Americans!\nThey don't know that America raised a total income tax of 3 Trillion Dollars annually. But America also spend 3 Trillion dollars on imports! So to replace Income Tax with Tariffs, America needs to apply 100% tariffs on ALL Imports from All countries around the world!\nSo prices on imported goods will be at least double in America! That will make people buy less. Imports will drop! So even with 100% blanket tariffs it will not raise 3 Trillion dollars for Trump!\nWhat's more? As America tries to make more things in America to avoid tariffs, tariffs will dry up and where does Trump get 3 Trillion dollars? ?

With tariffs being an import tax set up to deter local business from buying outside the country, then why put tariffs on american goods save for the 25% that goes directly to the Canadian government ? When we could keep prices down for our businesses and imports, it just seens to bump prices up for the microcosm of businesses and puts money in the hands of our federal government, but directly takes money out of contractors,businesses and so on....\nIf there are no contracts for instance with energy flowing to NY, why not bump the price 5% or 10 % ....

Agree with Trudeau here, and as a Canadian conservative, that’s not something I say easily. But let’s get real here. Trump is NOT a smart guy. He has cratered most businesses he’s started, he has no understanding of economics whatsoever and he speaks like a five-year old. Conversely, here in Canada and around the world (including many in the US who are voicing heir support here) we have A LOT of smart people and an enormous amount of good will, and we will persevere and overcome. The vetting of some of these people is very poor. Also, you do have freeloaders that come to Canada, receive all kinds of aid, and take jobs where they are paid under the table. This is equally the fault of their employers and the immigrants.

Canadians can see for themselves how bad this is. But this government doesn't believe what Canadians say or see.
