I get it, Im not close to Canada, never been there either but its on my list. If you migrate to a country that is not yours then you should follow the rule of the land and assimilate into their culture, not impose your own. Sure you can celebrate stuff like religious holidays but trying to fight for an independent state is just absurd, selfish and the same behaviour as any other coloniser.

As an American. I don't think it was a good thing to bully other countries, especially allies and neighbors. There are other diplomatic ways to do things. I am not left or right, but I felt like Obama and Clinton had better ways with international relationships. I know our leader are trying to do their best for us Americans, and well we have been helping other countries for decades. Maybe, it is time that other countries start paying us back. So to replace Income Tax with Tariffs, America needs to apply 100% tariffs on ALL Imports from All countries around the world!\nSo prices on imported goods will be at least double in America! That will make people buy less. Imports will drop! So even with 100% blanket tariffs it will not raise 3 Trillion dollars for Trump!\nWhat's more? As America tries to make more things in America to avoid tariffs, tariffs will dry up and where does Trump get 3 Trillion dollars? ?
