It's absolutely nauseating that Donald started a trade war with Canada. What a great neighbor and friend Canada has been to the U.S. for so many, many years.

Trump is a crazy immoral liar who wants to be a dictator and he’s trying to ruin the country so that he can be. I hope the people who voted for him are happy. It was clear, and he even described what he would do. I am very sorry it is hurting our friends and allies, as well as the U.S. people, especially Canada, Germany, and France..
Condemns Trump as immoral and a threat to democracy while expressing concern about harm to allies, combining ethical judgment with threat perception.

I think blaming a race for this is just stupid. You cant blame a whole race for your rent increasing. Like thats just a side product of economic growth which creates more demand in a region. Economic growth is good, and if you dont like that, move to a rural city that has no opportunities. A lot seen her is racism, and them saying its not racism dosn't mean anything.

Well said. I love the USA, I have relatives who live there and in all the years of a beautiful relationship with the people of America I have never seen this situation. Mr. Trump you seem to want to conquer and divide relationships at any cost, even with people who care about you. You sabotage yourself and those who are loyal to you. I'm not sure if you understand the implications of your decisions. But I will say respectfully, there are no winners in a trade war, nor is it you that has the final say on the worlds outcome. This is God's world not yours and not ours. I'm really disappointed to see American people and Canadians hurting because of whatever the point of all of this means. But Canada is strong and we will stand up for our country. The American people are strong and they were strong before you became the President. Working together, we can take care of each other for our families and our country.
Appeals to shared values, mutual respect, and ethical principles while expressing disappointment in Trump's approach to relationships.

As a Canadian born to immigrants, the emphasis of 'temporary foreign worker' is on 'temporary'. Its highly immoral for immigrants to be scapegoated for the greed of corporations wanting cheap slave labour, and for colleges to reap the benefit of a broken student visa loophole to immigration, to the detriment of all Canadians. This loophole has remained open for long enough, at the behest of lobbyists and politicians to use for talking-points at election time, but everyone is glad someone is finally doing something about it. Our job markets and real-estate prices needed this to recover to sane-levels. It takes a non-politician in power for things to get done for practical reasons, not to score political points.
Combines ethical critique of scapegoating immigrants with policy analysis of corporate exploitation and economic concerns about housing and job markets.

White imperialists were fine to go to other countries, subjugate them, bleed them dry for hundreds of years, conduct genocide, but of course, they can't tolerate people coming into the countries they are in now.
