@1:56 THANK YOU FOR SPEAKING OUT, THIS IS ALL I WANT. I am TIRED of people coming here and not respecting our way of life and pushing their ways onto us. Also the lack of English speakers is fcking annoying as hell, especially when they are in a job that makes them have to serve the public. The amount of times that I have ordered food and that person not understand what I want is abysmal.
Also @3:50 that is now reality in my city too. My own born and raised Canadian brother legit can't find a job even in neighboring cities.
Combines lived experience (service encounters, family job-seeking) with cultural assimilation concerns and economic impact claims.

I have scored 18 out of 20. 2 or 3 question was outside of this video.
1 that I can remeber was - The Canadian Coat of Arms symbolizes __
the answer suppose to be - Canada's history, unity, and heritage, blending British, French, and distinctly Canadian symbols, with the maple leaf representing all Canadians and the shield quadrants showing England (lions), France (fleur-de-lis), Scotland (lion), and Ireland (harp).
I got that one wrong.
Anothe one included a true/false question with the names of poet (not the names mentioned in the video). I marked it as true but I guess it also went wrong.
Thanks for this video @immigration Canada
Anyone can pass the exam by just following this video.

People who don't want to talk to us, understand us, do business with us, rent to us. but the same people want us to assimilate, Convert, stop talking to each other and stop doing any business and pay better taxes to contribute better.
Sorry to say, we love white people. I myself had to spend 5 years, put in efforts to make white friends, chinese, japanese, arab, black friends (in order to learn canadian culture and try to adjust myself in it, without compromising extremely on my spiritual beliefs and positive aspects of my culture). quite a few are very good friends and discuss my problems and share theirs while others behave like they are somehow supreme than me...
6.5 years in Canada, worked hard to assimilate and now, Federal Government backstabbed me for PR along with a minimum wage paying, but expecting $30 results employer (white-canadians)...
So, I guess, people who are not trusting them knew something that I didn't...
I never worked cash
never tried to misrepresent myself to IRCC and this is what I am made feel... while 100s of people did cash jobs, saved money and today are getting PRs...
still I am trying my best to stay legally, without exploiting loopholes... but, I feel scammed by the canadian dream.
Extended autobiographical account of immigration experience, assimilation efforts, and perceived discrimination by Canadian institutions and society.

As an American who worked in HR for eight years at BMO in Canada, I’ve noticed an important trend: many local professionals often attribute their career struggles to the system, when the real issue is a lack of updated skills.
In my previous office of 71 employees, around 60% were Indian and Chinese professionals — many of them exceptionally skilled and hardworking. The fact is, immigrants don’t take jobs; they earn them through their capabilities.
I currently work at BlackRock, managing a team of 221 people. Individuals with strong mathematical and analytical abilities often come from Indian or Chinese backgrounds, while only about 20% of our workforce is American. I conduct 4–5 interviews daily, and the pattern remains consistent — candidates from Europe, the U.S., and Canada frequently lag behind in technical skills.
It’s a tough truth, but one worth acknowledging: in today’s competitive job market, skill development matters far more than nationality.
Provides first-person professional experience as evidence that immigrants succeed through skill rather than displacing locals, combining lived experience with economic argument.

I grew up with lots of ukrainian and other immigrants, and on the whole, they are okay. Current ukrainian refugees are, I have noticed, a bit confused owing I think to the unfortunate circumstances which caused them to relocate. I suspect a lot will repatriate themselves when the war ends. I've encoutered many immigrants over the years and I have noticed, that in the last 20 years or so that a disturbing number of refugees are bogus exploitative jerks who wound up here because they weren't welcome where they came from because of their own character flws.
Extended first-person account of lived experience with immigrants over decades, comparing past and recent immigrant cohorts.
