Jason Kenny allowed in those who couldn't speak or write English....so he has nothing to add. I'm a sick, disabled Canadian who is being EVICTED from my home of almost ten years...because of a bad faith N12 eviction....so that my foreign-born landlord can increase the rent. While I can prove this bad faith, gov't officials have advised me to just give in and move out of my home...while very sick and unable to find any new housing. I've been looking into MAID as a way out of the torment that Canada has become for me. Kenny, in his fancy home...doesn't have a clue how poor sick Canadians are suffering. I have both an undergraduate and graduate program completed....and Canada treats me like I've never tried or done anything with my life worth respecting.
Primarily a first-person account of personal hardship and housing crisis, with secondary critique of policy and expression of despair.

I talked to a family of immigrants a few years ago and they were terribly upset with the open door policy that Canada had adopted. They said the reason they left their home was to get away from the bad people that Canada was now welcoming. They said these people will poison Canada. Well, years later they seemed to be spot on with their assessment.
Recounts a conversation with immigrant family members to support a narrative of demographic threat and policy failure, grounding fear-based argument in anecdotal evidence.

Let me tell you this as a legal Indian immigrant that came here 13 years ago with my whole family. There was a balance of immigration coming in from every country which was amazing until they opened the gates to India like it’s another bus stop away from India. Since then there have been so many illiterate people that fraudulently came here and keep trying to make Canada like back home which needs to stop. The reputation of Indian people which used to be hard working and family people is getting ruined by people that come here to give back nothing to Canadian economy. People that used to come into Canada came in with a dream but now it feels like just visiting another Indian state especially Brampton……… hopefully this stops but with the monkeys that have currently taken over Canadian parliament i hardly see an end to this.
Combines lived experience as an immigrant with broad claims about Indian immigrants being 'illiterate' and fraudulent, and assertions about demographic change without evidence.

My cousin came to canada under a 1 year work visa,, shes white french woman.. Speaks 5 languages, has 3 degrees, ran a business in France.. she landed here 1 years ago,, had to spend 400$ to prove she speaks ENGLISH, (she speaks it fluently),, she paid taxes the moment she landed and got a job, bought a car, a small apartment. Everything Canadian,, not like these degenerate scum sucking immigrants. Had to spend another 500$ to extend her visa for another year.. Everything was going well. Until these worthless liberal cockroaches knocks on her door and told her she has 1 month to leave, because shes taking a JOB away from a CANADIAN!!!.. Are you fuckin kidding me.. These worthless ungrateful, self serving pakis, indies and chinese and who knows what else we let in, are getting subsidies to work at tim hortons,, Walmart,, canadaian tires.. Meanwhile our real Canadian kids can't get summer jobs or part times,, because of these worthless immigrants. Shes corporate, she doesn't take small coffee serving jobs..
Extended first-person account of cousin's immigration experience used to frame other immigrants as undeserving and threatening to Canadian jobs.

My friend had a crazy incident a year ago. When due to very strict rules, he lost his pgwp and became visitor status. He had to use hospital services and he called them and asked them why the bill was so high. He was given remarks on the phone by a lady that “Oh we citizens pay taxes and thats how healthcare is usually free”. I mean he was here from last 6 years and was called that like he did not pay taxes. Idk why being rude to person without knowing what thier status was before. I think people are really fed up with anyone who says they are either visior, on pgwp or TFW in general. Sorry to say but, no one should just burst on others and say oh I paid taxes or its free for citizens only.
Recounts a friend's anecdote about discriminatory treatment in healthcare and argues for fairness in how non-citizens are treated.

what ruined the immigration system are the immigrants> My first job in Canada was demolishing houses for Teperman Demolition and I started two days after arrival. Today, I potentially would arrive, get high stay at home government wages to support me indefinitely. What good would I have been to Canada?

The elephant in the room is the fact that the majority of immigrants come from one country. As someone who proudly escaped Canada I understand the difficulties of adapting and integrating into another culture. It is difficult and it would be far easier if there were just so many Canadians here that none of us have to adapt or learn a new language but could simply live in an insular community of Canadians and transplant our own culture here. When I go back to Canada I see that that is exactly what has happened there.
Shares lived experience of emigration and cultural adaptation, observing parallel dynamics in Canada with immigrant communities.

This is a huge win and any smooth brain saying “ diDnT tHEY jUsT hAvE aLbErTa is cALliNg” ? Yes. We need skilled trades workers. Not more foreign students who get jobs at Tim’s or at any small retail/ gas station. If you guys will still complain about this even after we’re getting the healthcare spending and wage increases you really are shills who are just here to push an agenda. You don’t actually care about the betterment of Canada or the quality of life for Canadians here. I as an albertan blue collar worker am beyond happy with these changes and the fact that they’re putting it to a vote get over yourselves please.
First-person account from an Albertan blue-collar worker expressing support for skilled trades immigration policy while dismissing critics as agenda-driven.
