Im so ashamed right now of the USA. The country i was born and live in. everyone who voted for this should have done your due diligence. You can help us get out of this or you can help Putin and Trump turn us into a country that is devoid of all the freedoms we have known throughout our entire lives

All I can say to Trump is that history is never wrong. Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Saddam Hussein, Anastasio Somoza, Kadafy, Bashar al-Assad, and others tried the same playbook. It didn't go well for them. Did it, Trump? The isolation our country from the rest of the world and the hostile environment you are creating will lead to history repeating itself. As a person who did not (!!!) vote for Mr. Trump, I am heartbroken to see our two countries in a trade war. My sympathies are for the American and Canadian families who will be sharply affected by this madness.

My sympathies go to the US citizens that didn’t want trump but are now losing their global standing because of him. If he continues as he has done so far, I expect escalation and a war that nobody wants.

PM Trudeau got criticized heavily for meeting with Trump back at the end of November. Turns out he was being proactive and attempting diplomacy first, which is the Canadian way. In doing that he's had Canada ahead of the curve on dealing with Trumpler's dopey plans and insults. Trudeau now has new trade deals with other nations in the offing, we are moving forward without the US.

I thought that there were so many checks and balances on the president of the United States, but seeing his actions, I am very confused at how he is not being questioned for his mental stability and his actual ability to lead your country I mean to what degree is the definition of treason not applied I don’t understand how the president of the United States can now align himself with Russia and destroy allegiances with friends and allies This is not seen as treason?\nTo my American readers… just remember the United States knows no better friend than Canada….. so does any of this make sense?
