a few years back Brampton had a mayoral election and one of the people running was this guy John Sprovieri and he received and email complaining that a white man should not even be running because white people no longer have any business planning Bramptons future. He replied saying that people of all backgrounds want to come because of what white people built" he was sanctioned by the government for that comment and he was touted as a racist from then on. No comment was made about the indian woman who said white people shouldn't be allowed in the government in a Canadian city anymore. Last time I was in Brampton I was told to go back to my own country because I asked a group of indians who were playing indian music from concert volume speakers in a residential area at 1 am to turn it off. I don't think you captured a small fraction of how bad it is in Brampton.
Recounts personal experiences in Brampton with anecdotes about racial discrimination and demographic change, framed as evidence of societal problems.

Very good speech from a true leader ! So sad that Trump is doing this to the best allies of the USA. Obviously, Putin does really have some compromising videos and info on Trump and he is manipulating him. Today, I am ashamed to have become an US citizen. Is this what the American Dream has become ? Isolationism from our best allies and sleeping with the enemy and dictators ?
Combines personal identity claim (US citizen expressing shame) with unsubstantiated conspiracy theory about Putin manipulating Trump.

I'm white and obviously it's not all Indians, but the only demographic I've experienced racism and prejudice from are Indians. I try to remember to keep an open mind as generalizing is wrong, but it's getting harder and harder especially since majority of staff in jobs I worked recently are prejudiced and stick to their own ranks. Good journalism M8 I can't believe you put yourself in that situation at the end
Commenter shares lived experience of perceived racism from a specific demographic while acknowledging bias, framed as personal observation.

Im a Canadian and honestly I've NEVER had a problem finding a job, I don't even have my highschool... I think it has to do with *which* jobs they are applying for. I get that theres an "immigration" problem, the refusal to adapt and assimilate feels like a slap in the face especially when the same few will talk I'll of the same system they benefit from. HOWEVER I don't think it's good to lump all of these problems together and dump collective blame on immigrants. For 1, all this immigration and policies have happened under a liberal government and y'all voted then in, AGAIN. - clearly you're not THAT desperate for change. 2nd. Are the ones saying they can't find work willing to work in trades? General laborers making $25-$30+++ No experience required. Tradespeople are glad to teach people willing to work hard and learn.. What about warehouse work? Apply to your 5 closest warehouses, I guarantee youll get in 1.. ALSO the government IS willing to help Canadians get little certifications like forklift, smartserve, CPR.. Career colleges can help with training (e.g - computer) as well as soft skills. So yeah, I wonder if it's people being just as picky as they were when Canada wasn't in the economical shitter it is in rn? Maybe Im far luckier or fortunate than most? Maybe expectations are too high? Maybe some stubbornly refuse assistance they are entitled to? Im not sure, but I do sympathize/empathize with you guys, I hope you all can "get through". I pray we can find solutions to this insane cost of living / broken housing market / price gouging / tiny group of business owners having a complete market control and a monopoly on everything thing we need to survive - without competition, limitations or government regulation🫩. Stay strong Canada! 💙Don't let the hate consume you!❤️ 🇨🇦We will overcome🇨🇦
Begins with personal experience finding employment, then pivots to nuanced policy critique and moral argument against collective blame of immigrants.

AS AN INDIAN THANKS FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO . I AS A INDAIN REQUEST you my brother Canadian's to stop the illegal smuggling thing. India is not actually filled with these kind of people. there are poor and rich here both suffer with this country. but the rich understand and are are very well educated to understand the locals and support their country. but idk what's wrong with Canada that they leave the north Indian's ( basically 90% people of this part of region are not very friendly and are very badly educated about things only the top 10% of this region really understand things and even they suffer with this and the allegations some of them for just being the same religion ) and because of them the other people of India who were going to America/Canada for better meant of the country they go to , get with this and get rejected. its just my opinion and the things I have seen going around me.
Commenter shares personal perspective as an Indian, offering lived experience and cultural insight while making moral arguments about education and representation.
