tell the truth, why have them here in the first place in give them assistant,their are no jobs,no housing for them, they put them in hotels for $200 a night, every thing is free for them ,but if you are canadian you dont qualify.if your kid is over 18 in cant find work and lives at home ,he does not qualify for assistance,he has to be living else where for 1 year, what a country we live in, refugees ,have more rights then some one living in canada their whole life,this country has gone to pot,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

A refugee here. Through my job as an engineer, I'm probably giving back more than what half Canadian born do. Many Canadians just live off of interest in money they inhereted while we work to uplift the economy. Refugees would still rather go back to their countries as soon as the war is over. We're not here to steal your money or anything. I bet the guys with negative comments never had to know a refugee in person. Shame.

These comments are jokes … I’m a born and raised Canadian who’s parents came here in the 1960 to British Columbia , Brampton is beautiful city a lot of this hate towards it is just racism .. go to Markham filled with Chinese’s who’s stores names are written in their language they even had police station setup , go to Mississauga area filled with Arabs, go to parkdale filled with Philippines and Tibetan … every city in this country has sub section of communities and if people have issue with immigration go and complain to the government that’s allowing it to happen by selling false dreams … immigration is open to anyone as long as you have the money to support your stay here along with the necessary paperwork… plus half of the people complaining about jobs go and ask manager why they hire international kids .. cause they actually show up to work since they gotta work had to pay for high cost of living.. unlike most of the Canadian born kids that will call in sick cause they stayed up until 3 playing video games , it has nothing to do with skin color but work ethics

If you go to Canada, you will mostly see Punjabi people there. I don’t know why Punjabi people have become so obsessed with Canada. They mostly refer to going to Canada. They don’t even work properly or look for jobs in India; they just prefer going to Canada. I don’t know what kind of jobs they get there. Some of them go there depending on relatives, and some go illegally, which is completely wrong. Because I want to say one true thing about Indian people: there is very little civic sense in India. Yes, if they belong to the upper class, then they may have some civic sense, but in the lower and middle class, civic sense is very low. That’s why wherever they go, they behave the same way they think, without caring that they are in another country. They don’t care about respecting that country or adjusting to its culture. Instead, they try to impose their own culture everywhere. They want to create their own space everywhere and put their own things everywhere. But if foreigners come to India and live here permanently, they just do their work and live normally. Even if they do something publicly to promote their own culture, Indians will immediately go against them. But I haven’t seen the same reaction outside. People there should also oppose this; otherwise, Indians will really spread everywhere in the same way.

When a person moves to another country to live and work, shouldn’t the person supposed to respect the culture and tradition of the country and not flaunt theirs to disregard them? The whites are being incited to rise up by these actions of immigrants… the politicians like Trudeau is to be blamed for such a situation.

I was born here in Canada in 1969 and since Justin Trudeau took over as our government, everything just went downhill. I also very upset with our government bringing in millions of Immigrants and giving large handouts of of our Canadian tax dollars to support the new immigrants that our coming into Canada. Why is the government giving large hand outs to these Indian immigrants instead of helping us true Canadians who helped built this Country. It is a dam shame to see what the Liberal Government our doing to this country of ours were many are homeless, high cost of living and the high crimes that happens every day in Canada and what does the government do is let these criminals back into our streets where us true Canadians do not feel safe any more. The one thing that pisses me off is seeing is all these new immigrants coming into Canada by the thousands that are taking away our Canadian entry jobs like Walmart, McDonalds and A & W fast food restaurant where as our young born Canadian students and others can not find a job to help them pay for there school loans and get a good education degree. We need to put a stop to this. For enough is enough before our Liberal Government destroys our country.

I agree with the these people's comments regarding the immigration issues. I've been Canadian for over 50 years and this is the worst I've seen or experienced here in this country. Why are we as major tax payers are forced to finance the lives of these people who are only here to take from us, not give back in any way for us who supported them coming in to feel it's been a good decision made by our government, from our pockets. They do also bring their war, stealing, lying, scamming with them, creating more division with us who were living peacefully before. There's so much more that I see and experience now, that makes me want to leave, and it shouldn't be me who leaves home for others who have no good intentions.

Im a Canadian citizen (born in Toronto) who hasn't lived in Canada for over a decade. I left and declared non-resident status. I visit nearly every summer, spending around $8-10k a trip as well as sending money back to support my parents in Ottawa. I get nothing from Canada, and rightly so. I have to purchase my own health insurance when coming back. That's completely okay with me because I haven't paid into the system for over 10 years. How in the hell is someone who hops over the border with no previous ties to Canada entitled to ANYTHING though? They should be shipped back to their country of origin and duties assessed on any imports from that country should be raised to cover those costs or some other method of recouping that money should happen.

As a canadian I really feel this, thanks these indians and our government getting a job is a nightmare especially if you live in the city and most of the country is far-left so it isn't changing anytime soon. It's just sad to see, I'm not racist I just want my own country and my own job but I guess that's asking too much :/

As an Indian even if you go in any country don't try to live among the native people, try to live in places where you don't overtake another group of people by population. Why is that all hate against Indians in Canada? Am not Indian origin , but what is wrong for Indian making majority in Brampton. Am black African living in Toronto , who love this country for giving me the chance to build my life and always I bless Canada and Canadians.saying all this , Do we not have a pocket in a city / town dominated by people whose origin traces all the way from Italy/ Portuguese/ Lebanon / Ukraine etc . So for me , yes you can talk about controlled immigration without dehumanizing Indian migrants. Am a proud Christian , and receiving an immigrants is a blessing, even my lord and king Jesus Christ was refugee in Egypt. The west welcoming immigrants coming from Christian heritage, that is why indeed western countries are very blessed. Am not saying, open border policy is acceptable . Still you talk respectfully about controlled immigration without dehumanizing any group of immigrants.

I agree with over percent with what the white women said at th e beginning.. The part that she actually does have to hear and accept is the truth..Her ancestors were and are colonizers, those are basic truths.. But the Government must turn the taps down on immigration right away, it is totally out of control.. Things are at the point where no one Zero more immigrants from India and Pakistan should be allowed to enter the country, for at least the next few years , until the government can get a true handle on things.. I really don't think the government officials have any idea of the pace at which Canada is rapidly changing.. It is mind boggling the rapid changes and that's from every single nook and cranny of this once beautiful country you will see new immigrants.. There are places i went to as a child with my folks, where you would never have seen nothing but white people, maybe a few native people, a couple of black and oriental folks and that was it.. Now there are car loads of east Indians running around some actually living in those communities.. I am not a racist person, but that's my own observation on the ground.. I think every single Canadian in this country would have the exact reaction..

The problem is not the immigrants. The problem is with Canadian leaders, and the Canadians who elected and reelected them to office. I lived in Nova Scotia for just over 2 decades. I attempted to have many discussions about these issues and was shocked by the generally vapid responses I'd get. Much more to say, but the main point is that Canadians have destroyed their own country's quality of life and from what I can see, Canada is not worthy of respect as a nation. I take ZERO pleasure in saying this. However, the country should have provided the United States with a up close example of what a well run social democratic nation looks like. Instead, Canada is a joke to the far right and in fact fuels the far right in the US. Now with the global south amassing on the US's northern border (visit Halifax, NS if you have any questions about this), I view Canada as a threat to the USA - which is a nation with more than enough problems. A note to immigrants reading this: I respect many of you individually, and I do not in the least mind having you in my community. You as an individual are not the problem per se. The problem is that policy makers are simply using migrants to increase Canada's population to 100M by end of century. The actions of few spoiled Indians affect the entire Decent Indian community and India. Canada is in need of labour force due to less population and India has more population but insuffient jobs to engage people. If this scenario is reversed Indians would be complaining like canadians do. So the problem is not one way, just becos reducing immigrants does not solve the issue. people have to see things past nationality or physical identity into the statistics. even though canada has professionals of their own there are people who work with dedication and who work without interest, or recent generation being attracted to digital life instead of understanding that college degrees in mainstream subjects are what earns them job and also they have to show dedication and hardwork along with smart work, comply by the work place rules and so on... this goes to all invariable of who they are. all these started changing and now people instead of trying to correct these small changes that lead to these large issues of cost of living and low wages, have now started to pit against live people and their race, nationality or culture. There are good and bad people eveyrwhere, people cant justify the actions of drug addicts roaming the streets and that has increased a lot now, people acting violently against others just becos they dont have what the other has, and so on. but instead of addressing the high amount of actions that are happening around our own country, it has become easy to put blame on each other. I am not justfying the actions of these bad indians who has done these stuff. but we have to see the other side of it before making this a International Issue. Yes, few Indians are bad but not the entire community. Canada has its own needs that needs a lot of hands and support. So, only if we change our perspective beyond the emotional BS we exhibit, we can address the real issue with real solutions. These immigrants come here need to learn English language fluently both speak and listen in it as well, they should not become a Canadian citizen legally until they have resided in Canada for a substantial amount of time! A Canadian citizenship status should be earned big time no matter where you came flat out before getting any benefits of any kind and be able to buy and sell homes here too!? I find cab drivers muslems mostly very ignorant and rude talking in their language while on the job behind the wheel must add yes ppl driving you to your destination and not to mention do these.ppl stop to think maybe your clients passengers get annoyed listening to that on their ride to where ever,???? NO NO NO!! YOUR WIFE, MOTHER, FATHER OR CHILDREN WHOMEVER SHOULD NOT BE BOTHERING YOU WHILE YOU ARE ON THE JOB WORKING?! When I go to work as a nurse do you see me talking to my spouse or family members while I am helping my clients eat or bath and get dress, NO WAY YOU WOULD BE FIRED!!?
