We are getting way too many from other countries not only India. So everyone's gotta remember that we are getting massive loads from other very populated countries. It's gotta be engineered to help offload their countries of their populations, which in many countries they are packed like sardines. I already left the GTA thinking I would be relieved of this, but no, only slightly. They are in every town. I feel like the government harmed me indirectly because I opposed what the government did, so I took it upon myself to move, and yet, my problem was not solved. Africans, Indians and various Arabs are most in my neighbourhood, now. We are 3 hours away from Toronto. If you here in the comments section plan to move, then find a pocket at least 8 hours away from all the major canadian cities, but closer to some smaller towns.

People are hating unfairly on immigrants when it is the government is at fault for not managing immigration better. Let's not forget that Canada was built on immigration and collectively most immigrants do contribute to the good of Canadian society. I am an immigrant, I have never felt that any one group is forcing anything on me. I live my life, pay taxes, do my civic duties , mind my business , don't bother anyone and try to get along with everyone regardless . Yet I have been verbally attacked several times because I am non white. So I often wonder who is truly Canadian and if you are of "colour" will you forever be a hyphenated Canadian even if you are 3, 4 , 5 th or multigenerational born and bred in Canada. The high cost of living and unaffordabilty of housing is one thing, declining national fertility rates another and immigration is another. To me, It looks like Canada's immigration policy needs urgent reform and yes, immigrants should leave their baggage at the door.

This is a proven fact based on the figures no other community/demographic is as law abidding and successful as Indians in every single western country. Let me use this opportunity to bring awareness to the oppression of Tibetans. No, I am not talking about the Tibetans in China. I am talking about Tibetans in occupied South Tibet, which was annexed by India in 1951 and made a state by India in 1987 to become the so-called Arunachal Pradesh. South Tibet includes Tawang, birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama and home to a four-hundred-year-old Tibetan Monastery. The Tibetans in occupied South Tibet are fast becoming strangers in their own native homeland because the Indian government is settling Indians in the region to change the demographic structure of the area and trashing the place just like the Indians did in India or in Canada. The Indians like to mock them, calling them Chinese as a form of insult (sometimes using slurs such as the C* word or the M* word). Rape by Indians in occupied South Tibet is a major source of anger among the locals toward the thuggish Indian occupiers. Another thing is that India doesn't trust the locals and likes to accuse them of being Chinese spies if they don't display enough loyalty to the Indian occupier. The greatest irony and shameless hypocrisy of India and Indians is that the murdered youth's father is serving in the Indian Border Security Force and deployed along the border with China. He is fighting against China for a country that is ready to kill him and his family for looking Chinese. Some years back, yet another rape case by Indian soldiers occurred in Bomdila, South Tibet. Today, South Tibet is restless, and India knows it. This is the reason a law called the AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Power Act) is imposed on South Tibet. AFSPA gives the state the power to detain or kill anyone with impunity. No due process is needed. AFSPA is imposed on areas India deems restless, such as South Tibet and Kashmir. It is a law meant to suppress dissent and instill fear among the populace. The Tibetans in occupied South Tibet are voiceless people because they are not the right kind of Tibetans, so their plight is ignored by the Western world. I have yet to hear from the Western media any concern for the human rights abuses of the Tibetans in occupied South Tibet by India. P.S. I am using the word Tibetan as an umbrella term to include the various Sino-Tibetan Burmese people (Monpa, Abotani (called Lhotba on the Chinese side),..etc. The Sixth Dalai Lama was a Monpa) in South Tibet. The Sixth Dalai Lama is known for his many love poems and romantic escapades outside the Potola Palace. Sadly, his hometown, Tawang, is now under India's occupation since 1951. The Tawang Monastery is the last major frontier monastery before the area merged into the tribal region. It historically enjoyed a close relation with the Beijing central government. Why do they say we have one of the largest populations in the world. When their own country can't help the population with jobs, affordable housing, medical care, transportation system, over crowding due to population spike, overall provide better living back home. Yet every one of them tries to leave for other countries in the world for a better life. Then why grow the population so rapidly fast! Never understood that part. On the flip side sure grow your population if your country provides better life in terms of all those necessities. But pretty much other countries are baby sitting and raising them yet they brag were the second largest population. Doesn't make sense to brag about that!

Break down from a Canadian who moved to the US. Basically, Indians moved to Brampton because it was a cheaper area, yet close enough to Toronto. Immigrants drove taxi or drove truck usually were paid in cash, leading to tax evaluation. So they were able to save more... They were able to buy a bigger house for cheaper basically. New immigrants move to Brampton probably cause it easier. They don't need to assimilate as much as they sued to. They can speak their own language, not have to learn another, etc. You can actually see certain immigrant groups take to certain cities for the reasons above. Vaughn is Italian, Etobicoke was multi cultural, now Somalian(last I visited), sauga is Arab, etc The universities are a big scam, and the govt is part of it. They don't care cause they get money.... People create these fake colleges and bring in students. Students have "online" classes and so they don't actually go in . In Canada ur allowed to work 20 hours as a student, but all work more under the table. And yes. As a Punjabi, there is too many Indians. It was too many when I left. Worse now.. don't even like visiting Canada anymore unless I go to Barrie or something.

I don’t know how to feel about this. In my head I know without immigration the population will go down and that’s bad for economy. I know that diversity is good and we should embrace people from all backgrounds. Yet, something feels vastly wrong with what is going on in Brampton. Let's be real, about this nation called Canada where real native canadians were "First Nations, Metis & Inuit" they were the ones as Indigenious people who inhabited canada for thousand of years ago & later demographic shift could later be seen during 16th century from European colonization where majority of french and british invaded with consistent colonization & took control of the land, these settlers, along with later European immigrants, seized indigenous land, displaced indigenous communities, and brought diseases that decimated native populations. Yes, they are entitled to wage subsidy yet my grandson can't find a summer job anywhere! They are also entitled to nice business incentives then only hire their own. When looking for accommodations I see " Preference given to Indian only " applications.
