Im a Canadian and honestly I've NEVER had a problem finding a job, I don't even have my highschool... I think it has to do with *which* jobs they are applying for. I get that theres an "immigration" problem, the refusal to adapt and assimilate feels like a slap in the face especially when the same few will talk I'll of the same system they benefit from. HOWEVER I don't think it's good to lump all of these problems together and dump collective blame on immigrants. For 1, all this immigration and policies have happened under a liberal government and y'all voted then in, AGAIN. - clearly you're not THAT desperate for change. 2nd. Are the ones saying they can't find work willing to work in trades? General laborers making $25-$30+++ No experience required. Tradespeople are glad to teach people willing to work hard and learn.. What about warehouse work? Apply to your 5 closest warehouses, I guarantee youll get in 1.. ALSO the government IS willing to help Canadians get little certifications like forklift, smartserve, CPR.. Career colleges can help with training (e.g - computer) as well as soft skills. So yeah, I wonder if it's people being just as picky as they were when Canada wasn't in the economical shitter it is in rn? Maybe Im far luckier or fortunate than most? Canadians can't afford to have babies. I don't know what makes the government or the immigrants they bring in think that, after the free government stipends and support ends, theyll be able to afford to have babies. They won't. They'll be in the same position most Canadians are in: working their life away to pay their bills, and having the government take half their income in the form of taxes in order to pay for all the NEW immigrants who arrive. I'm guessing that's partly why a lot of new immigrants are leaving Canada shortly after they arrive: they were sold a fairy tale that no longer exists, and probably won't exist again until Canadians wake up and vote out the Liberal party.

The massive majority of Indians I've met in Canada have been absolutely kind. I have no ill will for the people. I do have ill will for our liberal government though. There's just too many people coming in at once. In 2025 we had 415,000 new permanent residences. 2024 it was 425,000. The liberal government said they were going to lower immigration and they didn't. They gutted the international student program but they kept the influx of permanent residences coming in because they're not done buying votes.

It’s good to hear some are thinking of leaving to the US. I truly wish for their success. I worked at a college that became a diploma mill in Vancouver and you couldn’t go to the men’s room without seeing 3 or 4 dudes hanging out. Foreign students also take from the food banks enough to have 1st year students now banned and many people no longer donate. I generally have great experiences Indian people, and have travelled India extensively, but if you let in too many of one type the native population will have a hard time and the immigrants themselves won’t integrate and build their own society.
