I agree with you to the extent of your understanding of Canadian culture. However, immigrants to Canada should be aware that the First Nations and indigenous people of Canada often have to seek a better life in other countries because colonizers and their descendants show no regard for treaty rights and have disenfranchised First Nations. The government hides the facts about the plight of indigenous Canadians and lie to Canadian immigrants and citizens, always to divide and conquer. Immigrants often don't realize that most indigenous Canadians are living in worse conditions than what the immigrants themselves came from, and few live as comfortably as white Canadians. When white people talk about how hard they have it because of immigrants, they should think about what First Nations have to deal with everyday because of them. Why is there a French-speaking province and not a Cree or Anishnabe speaking province?

I saw it first hand in my workplace. A major delivery company (not Amazon). Used to be mostly Canadians, until about 2 years ago. The majority are now young Indian guys who speak their own language amongst themselves. Even the new manager speaks Hindi. Work conditions have worsened because these people are willing to do much more for low wages. They drive erratically and treat the country like their playground to make money. This is the future of Canada.

Regarding our military, no one wants to join because it is an absolute mess. So now Carney wants to bring in mercenaries to bolster the military ranks. Not against newcomers! I ve been in Quebec since 22 years now myself ; I am a Canadian citizen since 15 years now of course ; But it’s confusing… Why was Quebec still receiving more immigrants in such program when even thousands of locals were and are struggling to find jobs? For the last 6 years I made a career in Private security ; I became an officer Liutenant at least I tried ; but now a days I don’t even have a job in security anymore ; too many immigrants applying for the same job / and frankly they do not care if the remuneration is only 21$ an hour / so officers can’t afford to work for less than 27$ ; because they have 6 years experience and more : it’s logical / however , comes an Arabic guy ; who quit the job he came here to do under the program , now he is looking for his first job out here in the real market ( does 80 hours training to get a BSP ) the guy had a college degree or university on something else ; and magically he becomes an officer with no experience for $24 dollars an hour And any security company accepts him 🤷‍♂️ Conclusion : true experienced security professionals officers who built their careers from the bottom all the way up Don’t have a job anymore Remember , officers aren’t unionized 🤷‍♂️

Another illegal way of coming is tourist visas. Some bribe canadian embassy staff in their home country and get the tourist visa.

How many of these people can vote? Are they citizens or just PR? If they can't vote then the canadians are free to choose a leader who doesn't want immigrants. If the opposite happens that simply means canadians don't care so much about immigrants.

I’m 60 years old and am now seriously looking to leave Canada. Canada will become a failed country in the next 10 years (or sooner) and I don’t see anything changing. You can’t keep on borrowing endlessly without consequences, most Canadians don’t understand how economics work.

Canadian here. It doesn't divide Canadians, pretty much everyone, unanimously wants the numbers at least lowered. There are maybe some exceptions, but those are far left extremists

Canadians made the informed adult choice to destroy Canada for no apparent reason. They chose their fate by passively accepting it in the utterly submissive manner standardized by centuries of British monarchy. It's too late to fix and the will to do so does not exist at any scale. Nothing will be done to mitigate this. The voters did this to themselves at the ballot box by action or inaction which I find hilarious.
