The thing about India is they only focus on white collar work and this is enforced in their culture and education system. This country of ~1.45 BILLION people (India) vs a population of ~41.3 million people (Canada) looks at white collar work as the only respectable work, sometimes because of their caste system. That's why a lot of poor Indians bathe in contaminated waste water and you see garbage all over the streets. Yet India has some remarkable engineers and mathematicians out of the human species and their billionaires living ~100 meters from the poorest. Second, Indians worship bartering or negotiating for everything even with a set price. saw a group of Indians upset with the price of entry in apple orchard and start arguing with the cashier trying to negotiate the price (my most recent experience). It's just a very different culture that only wants their own from education to even marriage. It's not gonna work with Western values

Hindus and Sikhs indulged in violence against each other and saw communal riots in Canada in 2023. I know some folks, including my neighbour, who immigrated to Canada right after high School — they take services of immigration agents who have contacts with diploma mills there, get a student visa citing enrollment in a sham educational degree, join a minimum wage job and rig the whole process to attain PR & then citizenship — essentially giving low skilled, poorly assimilated labour the citizenship in Canada under guise of skilled or educated immigration. Even as an Indian, the whole situation is insane and astounding to say the least. Hindu Nationalism has spread its roots & conducts marches in Canada within the Indian Hindu areas like they do here in India and people have started performing river aartis as well (communal prayers to worship rivers) — all kinds of pernicious identitarianism is festering there. A ton of Indian immigrants now see Canada merely as a source to better life & resources, but relate to, & are patriotic towards India or assert their rawer religious Sikh or Hindu identity due to lack of any assimilatory pressure & absence of a well defined Canadian identity. Funniest part is Indians, esp Hindus, who vote for hindu nationalists ushering majoritarian policies in India, cheer for persecution of minorities and justify caste system, suddenly co-opt liberalism & decietfully use its talking points to defend their position as a minority in places they migrate to (they do not believe in so, and don't apply the same standards to themselves). If you wish to blame someone, blame the govt of Canada and its elites. At the end of the day, they wanted cheap manual labour, and opened the gates without much consideration.

If you want diversity, bring people from all over the world. If you want Indians, bring Indians from all over India. Then where are the Northeast Indians? Where are the Bengalis? As an immigrant myself, living in Canada for 25 years now, I hate how we keep getting newcomers who do not want to assimilate into Canadian culture. Why try to force and push the very culture you chose to leave? Why try to transform Canada into the same culture you walked away from? I truly do not understand these people, especially those from India and Muslim communities, who fill public streets with their old cultural rituals...

To Canadian people, the community that most interested in coming to Canada is Punjabi Sikh, why?-> ISI of Pakistan with CIA radicalized most of them back in 1970 against GOI. a few years back Brampton had a mayoral election and one of the people running was this guy John Sprovieri and he received and email complaining that a white man should not even be running because white people no longer have any business planning Bramptons future. He replied saying that people of all backgrounds want to come because of what white people built" he was sanctioned by the government for that comment and he was touted as a racist from then on. No comment was made about the indian woman who said white people shouldn't be allowed in the government in a Canadian city anymore. Last time I was in Brampton I was told to go back to my own country because I asked a group of indians who were playing indian music from concert volume speakers in a residential area at 1 am to turn it off. I don't think you captured a small fraction of how bad it is in Brampton.

I am an indian, genuinely speaking, when I came here back in 2023, I didn’t know there are so many people from one of the indian state called punjab. They have ruined this place as well as image of all Indians. Also, If you want khalistan, why they are not protesting in where their land belongs(so called), why in Canada or Usa? There are 70% of the people are living in canada is punjabi. They have ruined the image of our whole country. We are peace loving people and follow rules but just because of these people, we fell into the same group. Fun fact: why brampton and surrey have bad reputation and increased crime rates because punjabi people live there. Thats heart wrenching. The other aspect is the Canadian government doing nothing to curb thia types of people instead of that these people do crime, get arrested, claim asylum, get free food for 1 year and become the resident of the Canada. I'm an Indian not from Punjab, this looks bad. To any Indian and Punjab Gov officials seeing this please take action, these people are ruining India's reputation. And to Canadians, Khalistani's are considered terrorists in my country most of them fled the country and I can see where they are now. Indian Gov officials have warned the Canadian Officials about this, they don't seem to care. I won't be surprised if they want Brampton to be declared a separate Khalistani country in the future.

Just a small word here. Khalistan sikh are not Indian Sikh. They are people who are wanted for various crimes even in India. They have criminal records and India has been requesting Canadian government to deport some of these people to undergo trial in India but Trudeau govt under jagmeet Singh did not agree and so you have crimes happening in Canada but the bad name goes to India. As far as this oppression against minority is concerned all sikhs in India are free to do as they wish in their own land. They have a democratically elected leader and sikhs in India are very happy.
