You've got it wrong, super wealthy Western countries like Canada, the USA, UK, Scandinavian Nordic countries, Europe, and even Australia don't 'need' immigrants from 3rd/4th world countries. Super wealthy Western countries first priority is to its own native population and country first by investing in them. The new 180 stance on immigration is proof that these super wealthy Western countries are moving forward with stricter immigration policies, a push for increased mass deportation, eliminating Visa/Green Card Holders for certain groups, going after scam related to immigration, rescinding citizenship and deporting non-native populations a lot easier. It's not just Canadians who are sick and tired of all these new people(legal and illegal) but The West in general🇺🇸

Our government would rather import foreigners and slide them into canadian universitys and jobs than support, educate and train Canadians. we can tell it's all by design..look around, the mass immigration isn't just canada..it's the uk, france, germany, austrialia, new zealand, ireland, and any other 1st world country. He's not telling you that this figure is not reflective of people seeking to remain in Canada permanently. The figure includes student visas, work permit holders including work permit extensions: many of these people will benefit Canada and then go back to their countries. If you look at the FAR more relevant figures for actual population growth, they show that the population will grow MUCH more slowly in 2025 than it did in 2024. I'm disappointed that the person who made this video did not see fit to provide real context to all this anti-immigrant sentiment. Inflating the problem is dangerous. The economic hurt is real, but throwing into the mix completely misleading figures about how fast the population is growing only serves to weaponize the pain being felt from the economy, against immigrants. We can't have a lucid conversation about the problem and the solutions, if the medium is this non-existent standard for fact-checking. Channel owner, please do better.

There's nothing wrong about going abroad in search of greener pastures (most do that, no?) but I don't get the idea of bringing the culture that screws up the home country to the new place --> and turn it into the place they're escaping from. Let's face it: politics is one of the problems, but you can't blame that fully for lack of civic sense?

Why do they say we have one of the largest populations in the world. When their own country can't help the population with jobs, affordable housing, medical care, transportation system, over crowding due to population spike, overall provide better living back home. Yet every one of them tries to leave for other countries in the world for a better life. Then why grow the population so rapidly fast! Never understood that part. On the flip side sure grow your population if your country provides better life in terms of all those necessities. But pretty much other countries are baby sitting and raising them yet they brag were the second largest population. Doesn't make sense to brag about that!

No reason the population of this country should be more than 35M ppl. Canada should not be accepting a single immigrant until the population goes down to 35M.

The EU has this new enlightened plan to open borders to Indian 'talent' as they say. We all know what happened after the previous plans of importing all those docters and engineers 🙄 As a EU citizen, does anyone have any ideas on how to seek asylum in a actual functional country? The entire purpose of allowing foreign students in our universities is so that they can learn essential skills to take back and improve their OWN countries. No foreign students should be permitted to work nor should our government be allowing temporary foreign workers when our unemployment rates are the highest they've been in five decades.

Trudeau and Jagmeet had a deal. What wad it? Since then this has become a huge problem. Don't expect the feds to fix this overnight. Stop immigration for 5-10yrs and hire a dept to verify ALL student visa, biometrics, overstays, etc. Start a dept to do surprise visits to all work establishments for documentation of all employees. Stop giving money away to refugees unless 100% verified to be actual refugee. Don't bring your culture to another country if you left your country. When you leave you adapt to the countries way of life. Canada is not for you of you cannot respect Canadians way of life.. We don't want your cultures, we already have our own Canadian way of life.
