There's nothing wrong about going abroad in search of greener pastures (most do that, no?) but I don't get the idea of bringing the culture that screws up the home country to the new place --> and turn it into the place they're escaping from. Let's face it: politics is one of the problems, but you can't blame that fully for lack of civic sense?

Let’s quit dancing around the subject. Legitimate, contributing, screened immigrants are welcome. Freeloading refugees are not. True refugees cannot afford to migrate to a country and claim asylum. If Canada can has room, we will seek them out and bring them here.

Hi from Indiana. I’m not familiar with life in Canada and I’m shocked to watch what is going on right now in your video. Maybe it’s not too late if your government can figure out to modify some of the immigration laws that will give back the power, the benefit, and advantage to a natural born Canadian. 800 thousand foreigners coming in in the last three months? What’s with that? That’s so shocking. Looks like a legalized invasion/occupation. I’m like you, I was a legal immigrant from Asia in the late 70s retired now and love my great state of Indiana. My family has been here for almost 50 years fully acculturated to the values and culture of American life with my husband and two grown boys. This is my adopted beloved country now. I am everything that it is about. I still know how to speak my birth language only when I go home for vacation. I don’t use it even to speak to a fellow Asian when I see that an English speaking native born American is within ear’s reach. That young lady might be dead with brain tumor before she gets her MRI. That’s unacceptable. Here you go to the ER and if you need an MRI you get admitted and most like have it the next day. Or Y

It's not only about assimilation it's about sheer number of Indians coming to Western countries.

Most of the immigrants landing here in Canada are not boosting our economy but just becoming a liability taking the country backward rather than progress. Tye government should stop immigration including refugees, at least for a while. Add three zeros to it because these people pay at least a $1000 as administrative fee to government IRCC. So that is $817,000,000 Canadian Dollars. Close to a Billion. What is government doing with this money? No Government, we Canadians dont want that money in our GDP. He has enough natural resources that can sustain ourself. Stop selling cheap oil to US. And back to people who come here as immigrants. You are in a different country to have a new life. There is no point in protecting here in Canada about the things happening in your home country. VERY VERY GOOD NEWS!!! Even if it cost 1 billion dollars- I will happily pay more taxes to make sure ALL illigals and expired permits are kicked out of this country. But that's not enough. We need to TOTALLY BAN any permit issuance and renewal for at least 20-30 years. Just to give the country some breathing room. You can apply after 30 years. No issues.

They can find whatever community resources (financial, legal, medical, et al) without having to step outside the community. They have been able to "replicate" India in their Host country. I think what local Canadians may resent so much is the new Competition for whatever low - wage labour and community resources are left over post Pandemic. Also, if one listens closely (Euro) Canadians) resent the imposition of Old Country religious / group cultural practices have "overflowed" into the public Commons rather than kept private. The unspoken "demand" that Locals get use to these cultural differences / just suck it up causes some rancor.

how much taxes do they pay? I was in California and they don't have to get a license but they drive cars with no plates on them. In taxachusetts i know a guy who got in an accident with a truck that was driven by an illegal...he did not have a license and they let him go...the company that owned the truck paid. They get more benefits than us and they pay no taxes. I was unemployed once and had no health care. every place I applied refused me health care so at the end of the year I had to pay a penalty for each month I didn't have health care. What penalty do they pay? I am discriminated against for being a poor white american citizen. This country is a joke and I wish I was never born here.

The answer was little bit ambiguous as number of students coming from India is very large.Rather than total number of frauds from a specific country, It should be calculated based on the how many per entage of people who came from a specific country did the fraud. That's will be the best measure.

Let call it what it is. The government didn't increase immigration it increase refugee. There are so many people trying to come into the country with education and wealth who are denied. The government let people with no education and no wealth into this country. We are doomed

Canada situation is not immigrant’s fault, this is government fault. Someone from a third world nation, will always try to find better opportunities in a different country and this is valid. The issue is that Canadian Government needs to be strong enough and make revision to its immigration system; many people works years and years with no proper documentation, no declaring taxes because they are being paid in cash…not even speaking a basic English, however they have a life in Canada. It’s their fault? No, they just take advantage of a weak system. Is government fault? Sure.

Going back to their countries is a tragedy? Why? It is their countries! Can Canadians go to their countries & get scholarships & benefits & citizenships? No? Why’s that not a tragedy? The only opinion voiced on that tv is on the beneficiaries & the immigration lawyers that make bank off of trading in humans, why are u guys so biased against & isolated from this country’s ppl?

I know why an American youtuber is making this video it's all geopolitics. Listen , Canada wants to be an independent country, with a slogan like “Buy Canadian, Build Canadian.” For that, it needs talent from Europe and Asia as well. But the USA doesn’t want this to happen, so these propaganda channels are becoming active. Look at the timing of this video. I am an immigrant came to Canada in 2014. The immigration system in Canada right now is not let every body in this country, is only allowed low/non skills workers and fraud applications in. I have a friend from China who got a bachelor degree from university of Waterloo and worked at downtown Toronto as a finance person for $500k per year which is extreme high in Canada. But he could not get his permanent resident because he is not what Canada needs as the immigration system. But immigration system is giving lots of pathway on low skills workers who can bring his/her whole families inside the country. These low skills workers need to find employers to do many complicated admin works for the application. In reality, no employers are willing to do such a complicated admin works for a minimum wages worker. So these people are paying the the employers to do the admin works without a single day working. Once they get the permanent residency, they just stay in Canada without working, paying taxes or try to become a Canadian. But for these people who have a high-pay job with high degrees, Canada is kicking them out of this country.

Toronto born and raised, it's really bad.. like REALLY bad.. words can do it justice. I'm looking to move out of the country soon because of this. And everywhere they go the quality drops instantly. Like work standards drop to zero, wages drop, standards for getting certified in any field drop, dollar value drops...

Enough is enough… we are losing our country 😢
