I was unemployed for a short period of time at Maple Lodge Farm and another packing company and all workers were Indians and they were rude people. These companies should be raided by the police and they will catch a lot of students hiding there. The immigration should open a site where citizens or legal residents can report these people. That would make it eadier for Canada to track the illegals. But the important thing is stop the incoming students and the refugees.

Why even have an immigration minister. These people clearly have had a mission in mind, make all these failed/fake refugees into citizens for a perpetual Liberal Majority.

We need to have armed immigration officers rounding these people up who have overstayed! STOP THE MADNESS!

As a brown person who migrated to Ireland, i can tell you i haven't met, spoken to or hung out with any of the people from my birth country in years. Why? Because, my Irish school mates, my Irish neighbours & Irish colleagues have never made me feel insecure about my color or origins. However in the last five years, some communities like the pakistanis, brazilians & nigerians started creating their ghettos despite the fact that the Irish did not discriminate. They "rule" their ghettos as if they're sovereign territories and do not interact with the Irish, who loves a good banter & socializing. Now the Irish are feeling insecure & one can feel, hear & see the change in attitudes towards immigrants. I fear that in the future i may face the consequences of some other people's decision to stand out instead of mixing. It is quite sad actually!

I think very less people have problems with other people who come legally and work legally. The problem mainly lies with the illegal and zero accountability towards that. Illegal immigration destroys culture and the country itself. I myself came to USA thinking I will be learning about american culture and maybe start adopting as well but all I saw was brown people because I was in tech which is widely dominated by brown people and it was very sad honestly.

I'm an Indian immigrant, fully legal, we all want these fraud people to go back and only hard working and legal ones are welcomed who wants to accept the Canadian way of living.

I have no words to describe the immigration lawyer guy. I'll let others do that. Canada owes these people nothing. They are here on a temporary basis and now must leave. I suspect some will try to stay but most will go. Their options are miserable and likely far worse then in their home countries.

It’s like being a Canadian Citizen is a crime now talk about immigration they call you racist, go to Tim Hortons, McDonalds, Walmart, or a truck stop you’ll see flip flop drivers 3-4 per truck. Carney is doing squat, just grease your elbows nonsense, bruv can’t even stand for Canadians domestic problems. How can one demographic of people from one nation dominate every work sector.

As a Canadian I’ll try and put this very politely and everything but I am friends with Indians that immigranted here 20+ years ago and the immigrants back then wanted to be Canadian and actually wanted to assimilate themselves in our culture the new round of immigration doesn’t do that they want to make Canada the new India they have no respect no care for the others around them and yes! They do smell not all of them but if it’s a smelly person in Canada 9/10 they are Indian that’s what I’ve seen obviously there is more but we just want them to want to be Canadians and not build your stupid praying status sorry I tried to be polite but this is something that has pissed me off more and more and people are finally talking about it

this is my understanding from London, lived in surrey, Langley and vancouver, its the immigrants who are the most pissed off. my friend from bc he is from fiji and it was so hard for him to get here all the tests and what not, then to get his wife in took him 7 yrs then Trudeau opens the flood gates but not to normal immigrants but to people seeking asylum, by the tens of thousands halting regular immigration.

I deal with truck drivers all day every day. 99% of the drivers are Indian. Seeing someone white is almost as rare as seeing a woman driving. Some are very nice. Some are very rude and entitled. I dont mind immigration. What I dont like is people thinking their still in India and attempting to change canadian values. We need to slow it down and vet people. Stop letting people pour in so you can stay in power. Liberals need to start caring about Canadians!

these white people who themselves are immigrants from most probably the uk are dissing on immigrants from south asia. canada belonged to inuits or metis people not white settlers so everyone else is a settler there, its just that white ones who have been been in majority until now dont like being outnumbered in a few areas now.

There is a very simple way to stop this. People coming to this country and wants us to live by there rules, put them on the next plane back. People of Canada, look on what is going on in England right now coz of ILLIGAL immigrants wanting England to become Islamic. Look at what is being done in europe as a hole and learn. Who does the background checks on people immigrating to Canada. Some of the seem like insurrectionists . Almost like India gathered a lot of their criminal population and sent them here. We had an incident recently filmed a group of 5 or 6 Indian immigrate men shooting up one of our brand trail bridge and shooting shot guns and other long barreled rifes into the air.. then left their garbage and spent shells behind. I'd like to know how non Canadian Citizens get their hands on weapons? Isn't it against the law?

I did not realize, until I read these comments, how many nincompoops we also have in Canada! 1) we are ALL IMMIGRANTS with the First Nations being here first.* * since "time immemorial," a concept referring to First Nations presence on the land long before recorded history. Yes, restructuring of the process is a good idea. 3) Poilievre is a thin skinned man of the pointy finger and blame game with little to offer in actual plans or programs. He plays to people’s gripes, whining, and general b*tch*ness. He IS very similar to the blow-hart down south although more literate. 4) There is no possible way he, especially being of like behaviour, could deal with The Felon. He is NOT a negotiator. He is not calm; he’s bombastic. He’s waaaaaaaay to the right, and will trample equal rights for women, and other valued communities. He has no interest in listening to other positions, views, or suggestions. His way or the highway. Again like the Fascist down south. 4) Our provincial leaders (except a few traitors to Canada’s sovereignty) are behind the extremely difficult work Carney is doing for our country. 67% of Canadians are cheering him on, including the Conservative playground scrapper, Doug Ford, plus Stephen Harper. So, put your bile on hold and support the positive. We’re in a really difficult, daily changing, coming at us from all sides, battle with the POS south of us. Carney is giving it his all. The entire white western world is turning against non white immigrants. It is a cultural universal that all people wish to live within their own communities where they feel safe because they see their neighbours as their own kith and kin. People want to live among other people who have very similar behaviours and cultural values. White western culture has been very welcoming of non white immigration, but not to the extent that the whites feel that they are being diluted out of existence by the mass immigration of foreign minorities. Especially when those minorities have no intention of assimilating in in any way, are offensive towards the white population, and engage in serious criminal behaviour.

I grew up in Edmonton in a very Indian part of town. It's not "Indian people " not at All!! Maybe mass migration is an issue, but it's not Indians. Maybe immigration scams but trust me, every Indian I lived with was civically minded. Blame the scams ...not the people! That's the federal governments fault!! Indian people have lived here for decades and in the UK. Unfortunately the scams have hurt the community!! (Even listen to the people in the interviews. Some of the best people I've met, and they ARE part of my community. I do worry about the scams but that's it)

Tyler, the offspring of Portuguese farming immigrants fleeing to the US because of economic instability and war, has become a person who attacks and disparages people doing the very thing his ancestors did. Shame. Central Valley logic. Not surprised.

Being indian, I accept when somebody don't like immigrants. But I want to remind you'll be facing trouble with peaceful community than with people of dharmic religions because we believe in co existence & they don't.

I am from Edmonton and we have a high rate of people from India, the only thing that bothers me is if an immigrant comes here learn how to be Canadian. Which is helping the elderly, giving your seat up on a bus, not taking proper drivers training. They have been taking a lot of trucker jobs and there is barely one Tim Hortons in Canada that will hire a white person.

Even Indian Canadians that were born here don't want these immigrants. When people from their own ethnicity don't want them here, that says a lot. As someone who spent years working in public maintenance and sanitation, I know first-hand who the least hygienic people are, and there is no contest. Indians are at the top of that list. Remember that the next time you see them handling your food.

Of course the Liberals don't know what is going on. If they knew what was going on then they could be held accountable and it appears that is something no Liberal wants. They don't want to take responsibility ever for anything that they do and they rely on equally inept voters to keep them in office. As to the subject at hand, Canadians should not be responsible for immigrants or people claiming asylum health costs for anything past their first 6 months here. Going past 6 months indicates that they have yet to gain employment and are living off our backs. Those who are still here after being turned back should be located and sent packing immediately regardless of their present standing. For example, someone came here and was rejected but never left. Today they get picked up and now they claim they have a family here. They should still be removed because if they had left when they were supposed to they wouldn't have that family now would they. Yes, it may appear to be harsh but is it not harsh to use the funds provided by people who have a legal right to be here to support those who never should have been here?
