Worst thing that ever happened to Canada. I can't even begin to describe how my community has changed. I don't even recognize it anymore. Spent my entire life in a small town and for some unknown reason it is part of a "designated resettlement zone." There are more Indians than whites - it's insane. Local businesses have closed, new businesses catering to Indians have opened. Littering is rampant. Homes aren't taken care of. This is a horrible situation on both ends and the fact that its all 100% administration failure is sad. Its not fair to anyone not even the immigrants. They keep bringing in more people then the economy can afford to live here I frankly find it ridiculous. I want to know whats driving these policies to continue. My parents came to canada 25 years ago, they payed thousands of dollars to get status here. Now people are getting in as cheap labour that can't even afford to live here so they dogpile 10-15 people in the same 2-3 bedroom apartments or houses and the infrastructure is still being built on the logic of single families when in the reality thr opposite is happening we have sudden crowding because rent is unaffordable due to the massive influx of people, including canadian born nationals that are forced to live in these environments if they don't have support- Its crazy why not close your borders stabilize rebuild infrastructure then slowly work on immigration policies again when the housing market and job market are stable again. Theres absolutely no reason to cite labour shortages when theres an unemployment rate and homeless people everywhere- close the borders- get homes built, throw heavy incentives to join and get educated on any productive field that has a shortage upto and including providing shelter to canadian citizens that decide to pursue these fields and are homeless. Have a fast track rotating incentive down to the year along with guaranteed on job training for all occupations. Such a simple solution so stupid we can't execute it. Too busy squabbling liberal conservative baseline rhetoric that we made ourselves blind to the human cost in our own borders.

Personally as an Indian, I really feel bad about it. Unfortunately, we DO go to other countries for a chance at better life and dignity, but a lot us Indians then start to feel privileged and entitled and do not adapt to the culture of the country they are in, and force their own cultures and individual beliefs. This sucks, especially as a young guy who dreams of living in other countries, while respecting their cultures and planning to adapt to them. Even in India too, we don't really pay much taxes since we know its gonna go into corruption anyway, so the Immigrant residents in Brampton may have carried forward that practice as their habit. I wanna tell you this folks , the reason we Indians get jobs ( which you racist people dont like ) is not because our people are there and they hire us , its because we work hard we do extra shifts , we have skills which employers are looking for . I lived in Brampton for 25 years, so I would like to weigh in. We definitely have an extremely large indian population here. There are a lot of upsides and downsides to that. Some of my best friends are Indian immigrants, some of the people I hate the most are also indian immigrants. With any large group of people, you will always have examples of exceptionally nice people, but also horrible people. Something I noticed a lot recently is that newer immigrants are a lot less interested in learning about Canadian culture, norms, and integration. A lot of my longtime indian friends learnt the Canadian culture, Canadian norms, and wish to work with Canadians. They celebrate christmas, are respectful and polite, and are otherwise outstanding Canadian Citizens. A lot of the newer problems in Brampton can make it unattractive for others. Lots of loud music blaring, street racing waking you up at 4am in the morning, fireworks at 3am for no apparent reason, etc.

This guy is just jealous that Indian Immigrants are the highest earning community in both US and Canada. Indians earn way more than avg American or Canadian or even any other immigrant community. As an emmigrant who came to this country 15 years ago, I am astonished by the lack of knowledge this country has. This reason stands in empty education ( in an irony of life, the canadians call it one of the best on the word), and the belief Canada is a democracy. It is typically a fascist country that makes spurious elections because it is truly run by an establishment hidden as a secret society and in the surface is run as a mafia by small groups of interest ( corporations, professional order, injustice system, and emty shell politicians). The others ( the canadian people) they enjoy democracy 😂, high quality of life( really, just make a visit to a poor european country as Portugal, Greece ). The same goes for education, just oven degrees hot and not edible. Now Canadians learned that immigrant are taking their land and opportunities. You're lied, put under pot, and cheated by your democratic representatives.
