I was born in brampton, lived in cbridge then to b.c.! I will never go back! Heres a fun fact tho, the government opened the flood gate to immigration, red taped housing, started a catch and release program for repeat offenders, even violent ones! And made drugs decriminalised! From what I heard, there was commercials and panphlets all over differnt countries saying come to canada for a better life, its great here! Many came and because of the housing shortage due to the red tape, people were sleeping on the street in front of the government offices! Its also colder then many people that have never experienced could even imagine! Then there starting from the bottom! A chip on there shoulder thinking the gov owes them and do whatever you can to get payed! Hence why there were so many car, jewlery store, liqure store thiefts and break & enters! The cops were literally telling people to keep there car keys near the door so the thiefs can take them with no altercation! I blame turdo and sean fraser! Fun fact, sean fraser was the immagration minister then got cabnet shuffled to housing minister during turdos terms, idk what he is now but i think hes still in cabnet. I try not to be racist but this failed experiment and just plain bad math/out of touch with reality cabinet ministers are litterally making people racist! Its too many, too fast, when there manipulating the housing market by red taping it so much nobody can get a shovel in the ground! The stupidity of the gov is insane! The only reason you can use the term Immigrant is because the govt issued visas. But that being said the govt fast tracked the usual immigrant process which takes months to years. So in actuality this is not legitimate immigrants. It's unlawful what the govt has done and therefore these people are immigrants under cover of law. Or color of law. It's defacto. I call them illegal migrants. Most are not doctors or engineers or trades people even. Most are young men from 19 to their 30's. We see Chinese, and many people from different parts of South America and even Africa crossing to the US. A lot of whom end up in Canada. I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. That was a mistake that should be bought 1 house and nothing else. I forgot to add something. The uber driver told me that india doesn't know that it's a debt luxury trap that you can't leave unless you pay your debt. He felt alone and found some people and the internet to make himself feel better temporary. TEMPORARY! He hates it here, but he respects Canadians. He feels sorry for the new ones that are coming to become debt trap. It's the same for the pharmacy. She got into college to be a pharmacy and bought the store. She is on low income but doesn't qualify for any supports like benefits to pay off her medical things. The reason she can't because they'll see the pharmacy store is income. Wait what? So she doesn't quilify for benefits because she's making income to pay off her massive loan to do her job. It's not enough to live by as what she told me. She also does misses home, but also traped in luxury debt. This is what I have learned so far. I went through a car accident and coudln't get out of the car. I thought in Brampton, Ontario was the rudest people on the planet, but was saved by the angels of indian people saved me out of the vehicle from the smoke. I still thank you! My family immigrated during the war, my grandmother came here after escaping a concentration camp when she was a little girl, her and my mother taught me to appreciate what we have, because it was worked hard for, they worked hard to make a living and a future for their families, they were given money by family that was here and paid back every, single, cent, it wasn't just given to them for free by the government while the rest of the people here suffer, so many of the people are brought here and given everything, it's like people have never heard the phrase "Give a man to fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for life." the problem is that they keep giving them fish, so now they expect it so much they damn near demand it... it sickens me. I'm a student right now, 15 years ago it felt like I lived in my home, proudly in Canada, with all kinds of people... now, I go to class, and I feel like I live on a different planet, everyone looks the same, with a hint of variety... American complain that they don't see White people much anymore, I complain because I only see ONE type of person now... nobody else...

I was going through college in southern Ontario about half a decade ago. The faculty was alright but the one that always stuck with me was an elderly Indian man who had a PHd (what he was doing teaching at a community college, I'm not sure). He immigrated from India sometime in the 70's, I think, and sometimes told us stories about how he'd never seen electricity until he was well into adulthood. This was at the early stages of Indian mass immigration to the province, but the international students were already becoming a known problem in the school. They never spoke to anyone else, hung out in big groups together on campus, I swear most of them couldn't even speak English. They constantly cheated on everything and shared answers, I heard like 7 of them got failed for submitting identical lab reports one time. Most people knew they were a problem, but no one was comfortable saying anything. Except the Indian professor. He would publicly call them out for shit in class, berate them, shit talk them openly to other students. I've literally never seen anyone more angry about those Indian students than that Indian professor. It's not hard to see why, he busted his ass to immigrate to Canada, get work and get into a good university. He completed a doctorate, for Christ's sake. He didn't see a street light until he was 25, and worked his way to the bleeding edge of digital science. Now there's a bunch of lazy assholes invited in by the government brazenly trying to cheat their way to a degree in his goddamn class. I'd crash out too.

I am a Korean international student studying in Canada. These types of news makes me really frustrated.. I heard that due to these reasons, immigration officers has been taking very long time to process study visa permits. I 100% agree with immigration officers that they need to carefully review the applications, because I also think things like this shouldn’t happen in any countries. But, I’m getting frustrated because this is delaying innocent international students’ visa process as well. I’ve finished my undergraduate studies and I decided to pursue master’s under a professor i met in my current university. I was very excited to study the field, and i applied for study extension visa months ago, and still haven’t gotten any updates from IRCC. So I couldn’t get enrolled in Fall semester. I’m still waiting, and i really hope that i can continue studying.. luckily my professor understood this situation and he said he can hold a position for me, but i’m still very anxious about all the situation. I hope all people who come to Canada are honest and don’t do illegal things. I really want them to realize that they are affecting students who just want to study. They are taking away the opportunity for others to learn.

(This can be viewed as assumptions but it's factual) Was at a A&W last night me and my fiancee were the only Canadians there... went to Walmart after.... Now sure I wasn't in every part of Walmart but I only seen one actual Canadian born worker... Sure it can be said it's assumption on my part but I am confident with my assumption based on what I saw. Our public transportation ( bus ) there's only 4 Canadians left. Now our busses speed, don't give time for people to get on safely.... accidents almost daily. And from what I heard there has to be a shuttle bus on standby because the new drivers just make false claims of accidents and issues so shuttle has to come and pick up the people on the bus to finish the route. Our rental market is far and thin. Our homeless is Canadians NOT foreign. And we are seeking illicit activities and mind altering chemicals to deal with the stress of life more and more each day. Concerns me my son and daughter have to grow up like this. I fear for them and their future in a country that I once believed in. I'm not racist I try my best to treat everyone fairly and equally. But Canada is changing and it's causing great impact we can't handle.

I’ve lived in Canada for 30 years, but I became unemployed in 2021. This is the first time I’ve been out of work for more than a year and a half. I’ve applied online for over 20 jobs, but unfortunately I haven’t received any responses. This has never happened to me before. When I first came to Canada, it felt very safe—you could even leave your door unlocked at night. Things have changed a lot since then. Nowadays, there are many new immigrants and refugees, which has also changed the job market. I’ve noticed that many companies prefer hiring workers with student visas, because the government subsidizes part of their wages. That makes it more cost-effective for companies compared to hiring Canadian workers. I heard this directly from my former manager. As a result, some of my old colleagues now only get one or two days of work per week, while companies continue bringing in new employees.

Canada’s government needs to check also about issuing the driver license. because i’ve heard that you can pay now to pass the driving test even all this people doesn’t know the rules or even following all the signs on the road. I’ve never seen so much car accident and too much car on the road. Why it is easy for them now to get a license. We need to remember driving in other country is not the same here. Also even your credit score is bad, even your salary is not good the car company gives you a car easily with hight interest. Thats also need to be check

If you had all the points, you would be selected. It took about three years, and while waiting, you could not apply for any visa to enter Canada. The security check was part of the process, and the Canadian government asked applicants to enter the country by bringing money (Like one year's salary). This system was a perfect plan, and many Western countries wanted to copy that (As I heard on many French and American radios before), but the liberals broke the system! And I still don't know why!
