All the recent Indian immigrants interviewed seem to be very kind, hardworking people who are just trying to create a better life for their families. Then I read the comment section and it's just a bunch of people spewing vitriol towards Indian immigrants. "Canada isn't supposed to look like India". What the hell is Canada supposed to look like, to me it just looks like America, what "Canadian national identity" do you really have?

I proposed hiring a team of individuals from the Muslim community, Chinese community etc to brainstorm on how to get their message across that if your an immigrant your best to vote conservative because the liberals don’t care about them they just want their vote. Show them how they may never own a home, how their kids will be worse off than them. That buy bringing in about 2 million more immigrants a year it is causing inflation and the affordability crisis. I believe if you can show these immigrant communities the truth they may consider voting conservative. When I go to work building new homes, I am almost always the only person that speaks English. You ask someone to move their vehicle to get a truck in or something and they look at you like a Taxidermized fish. DONT let them eat lunch in the house, you'll never get the curry smell out. As a Indian Sikh that was BORN in Australia with parents that have been in Australia for over 17 years, these new Indians coming here are the problem I’m not trying to be rude or racist but I’ve gone to India many times and there everyone is in Canada or something but when they get there they treat it like India, like if ur gonna go to a different country at least respect them . The problem is there are just to many off them. Then too many have gotten very arrogant saying thing like this our country now. Taking over cities street with loud music for some wedding and to those who also live on the street cannot even park there car or live in there homes due to the loud noise. No permit, just taking over. The other problem the last few years immigrations number have skyrocket and 90% of them our Indians. The government should have never let such a large group from one country enter. Meanwhile as climate change happen a lot of countries will be in trouble and the people will need to go somewhere. Iran has only 3% of there water reserve left. India has ruin there country and so has China with pollution and dumping of heavy metel in river and lakes. Meanwhile the Caribbean is expected to be unlivable in 15 and 20 years. The USA we are expected to lose 100 miles of our coastline. That area is where 50% of Americans lives. Pretty soon it will be everyone for themselves if certain country do not look at the long term picture. Also the lifestyle we are living today is just not sustainable.

You know what too...If Canadians was too go to India I wouldn't be able to bring my Canadian/Caribbean Culture there..I look at it like this his your moving to another Country I'm gonna adapt to The Culture and Lifestyle..Im not gonna bring my Old Ways that I wanted to leave to a New Country and Life...I feel like its not Canadians being Racist it's that they came here and The Government and Businesses are Catering to them From Adding Specific Food Items to cater to them most Jobs are by passing others to hire them...And on top of that Canadians are dealing with Food Cost being High still and Working a Job and still not making else to live a decent Life...Seems like most people are Working to Survive and Pay Bill and don't even have enough to atlest go out and have a peace of mind and have a Social Life...There brought in all these Immigrants to The Country while The Country was basically under a Recession...And this Problem is not getting Fixed now and it seems like it's getting worst..To the point I feel like a Civil War could even break out I this don't get Fixed somehow and someway... Canadian that spent 16 years in Japan. I went as an individual. I stayed as an individual. Married a Japanese. Came back to Canada for a pension and can't wait to leave. I were in Japan and if I saw a group of Canadians arrive expecting Japan to change for them, I would have been severely pissed off with them. Every other country and normal immigrant that came as an individual or individual family probably thinks the same way I do. No one in any country likes to see "Mass Immigration" and even Japan these days are looking at an influx of half a million Indians and who knows how many more Africans. This will change Japan and they'll turn a good culture into their shitty culture and I'm not happy with that. I liked being one of few. Yes I had American, Canadian, Australian, Kiwi and British friends as well as Japanese friends. But we were all individuals that adopted the way of living in Japan into our everyday lives. If I go back, I don't want to be in india. It'd be like living in Brampton. What pisses me most is the attitude of that muslim guy. Yes you are out breeding us but not all majorities rule. In Malaysia, Malays rule despite being the smaller population. They have more Chinese and Indians there but they have to live under the rule of the native Malays. So you will have to do the same in Canada despite if your population is larger. You adapt to this country. The country doesn't convert to accomodate you. Individuals are key. Groups are the bane of all countries.

Indians have been in Canada for a very long time. Many came from Punjabi closer to colonial times. The racism in the comments is inexcusable. People of all different backgrounds commit crimes , public nuisances, etc. and the complaining of dominating every industry? I’m not sure what angle that is. Maybe the other groups should do better at dominating industries or advocate for businesses to hire other Canadians (equal opportunity employment). And the whole “ cow poop video” Tyler posted is one village in India ; which of course makes Indians collectively look bad and gives way for many of you in the comments to continually perpetuate this idea that Indians are sub-human. And Tyler, word of advice, if you’re going to show parts of the Indian community and Hinduism religion in Canada — at least learn to pronounce words correctly so you don’t sound like a complete idiot.

So essentially 3 tiers of Indian come(Hamiltonian here who worked in the GTA for awhile) They got pumped in and don't like eachother and look down at the lower tiers ones. They won't even hire other Indians anymore since they have the options of only their type. They erased several industries at this point, most small business are forgien owned, Indian or middle eastern. They can't drive (just google India driving) theirs a couple feet of snow and they just floor it around sliding through intersections while playing candy crush or what ever Every business that is fast food place is almost exclusively Indian to the point the "white point game" isn't even playable. They buy up insane amounts of properties because they bring thier entire family on different visas and many just stay till they get deported as they bring that money home with them. Every student housing is filled with Indians, every one bedroom has 30 of them living in it. Most starter homes where cheap so they bought them to flip with thier combined money. Security sector is filled with them exclusively because it's the highest amount of money they can make here without any skills .(Most are 0 skilled). Schools all had to cut staff in half because when we cut funding and spots for people coming to our universitys they lost half thier income. Crime rate went way up. My city is really bad for human trafficking and aex trafficking. Many come to our city since it's far enough away to commit crimes. Many get 0 consequences because again.. Illegally overstaying a visa is deportation. Doug Ford literally gave everyone 200$ before an election...like how corrupt and garbage is this country. Now we have Indian only business that can't speak English, similar to the daycare issue. Job postings for specific races or language s only. Mind you everything just stated is also being done by the Arabs and Somalis and Nigerians. Many of these people coming here are "escaping dangerous situations" Wich means criminals who want to start again. I am a hindu Indian immigrant. I had come to this country tobhave some peaceful life. But these days there is no peace, hardly any Canadian culture visible. I go to a beautiful park in the evening... The problem is that Canada didn't just take immigrants from India, they took in criminals in the name of "asylum". In certain parts of India, there used to be small-scale separatist movements, back in 1970s and 1980s. Senior Trudeau saw this as an opportunity to vent his frustration for India's not signing of NPT . So the guy kept giving "asylum" to the violent separatists, to "teach India a lesson" (Yeahh... sure) Gradually, it became so that once you have gained enough rep in organised crime, drug trade, so that it's difficult for you to stay under the radar in India, running from law enforcement, you would run to Canada, UK or Australia, and ask for asylum, with whatever reason. And those countries, in their stupid sense of righteousness, would accept it without any background checks. Now, yes, it's a trouble for us (good job), because most of the gang leaders are hiding away in these countries, running their operations remotely. Indian officials are only able to nab the low-level gang members. But it also means that these countries now ALSO have the worst criminals in their cities. And once they settle down, they will do what they know best .... crimes. And gradually they become a problem for their host countries, as well as other Indians in these countries. (Whenever Khalistanis do any parade, they force other Indian families to put up their yellow flags on their homes, to make it look like they have massive support) It's not good for anyone, but these countries have put themselves in a position from which they have no idea how to extricate themselves. Sure, you may blame Indians. But we were literally asking you to send those criminals back, and you refused to do so. Now they are your problem. If they create problems for us, then maybe, they will drop de** in some parking lot. But apart from that, most of their activities are going to be Canada's problem to deal with. They are already turning the streets of Canada into a drug paradise, hurting the young people of both local and Indian origins. Such a waste of life and potential.

I just came from there about a week and a half ago and im originally from o puerto rico living in FL and went into a store to buy diapers for my son and it was all India even the signs in Indian and I really felt like an alien as everyone looked at me like I was not from this planet lol not to offend anyone but I won't be back any time soon.

The problem is immigration back in day was a luxury in India so only riches made it outside and they were rich compared to others after independence because they were more pro british and served them. So it was easy for them to immigrate and assimilate into your culture. Now you see many poor people also immigrating because immigration became more accessible, its just like the touchscreen phones, before only rich people had them, but later and now everyone has it. Plus your overly liberal and the stupid point system lets anyone enter the country if they meet a specific criteria, they barely check their english, background, crime record, etc. Also, living in India is a survival, or a nightmare for short. Especially for the poor people in the up north, and so they go to these shady agents who claim that they can send him or her to Canada, UK, Australia where ever they want in exchange for some money. Sometimes these agents turnout to be scams and sometimes not, then these students apply to some fake university that has no campus in Canada and select a course thats easy. Then once approved they come to canada, don’t go to university and make some other indian friends who say they have contacts with some job providers and through that the students get their jobs at the fast food joints and shopping malls. The mindset with which these students come to Canada is that I want to get a simple job as soon as I land in Canada and through that job I can get a PR. They never go to assimilate or discover the culture, they come because the country looks nice, has resources, and will provide them with a good salary so that they send some money back home to their parents as compared to low paying jobs in India, which too are super competitive. They still like the indian way of life, the culture, the food, the attire, just not in India. Thats why you’ll never see these students eating at anything other than a Indian Punjabi Restaurant or a fast food joint, they will never make white friends, they will never try to change the way they speak and look at Canadians, they will never try to change their driving habits. In conclusion, more poor people and students migrating, paired with their mindset of “I want everything to be Indian just not in India but in a place that looks better” paired with their low interest in actually learning and working better jobs is what makes them a bad immigrant group. But thats not to say that all are like that its only some and mostly Punjabis/ other North Indians that have this mindset. The reason why the Indian group in USA is much better and successful is because they are mostly of south indian descent. Those people are far more educated, actually respect the law of the land. And fun fact: The stereotypical Indian Accent originated from USA mainly and reason why many indians say that they don’t speak in that accent is because that particular stereotypical accent is present in Indian people who come from the states of Andra Pradesh and Telegana, which is is where most of the Indians in USA are actually from. I am indian but why are people allowed to work on study visa. India does not allow that. You are here to study so do that. Moreover which study gives you time to work. They made the whole system look like circus.
