to the people angry at immegration i have a few questions . the immegrants bharampton whos country are they working for india or canada ? where would the money that they produce go to india or canada ? where would they live and help make better . so let me ask u what is ur problem with immegration when ur the country that benefiting from it ? when u are having new jobs , a better demographics etc etc from this deal why hate them ? also no u cant just issue political assylum in canada . u need a student visa u have to work for it as well

Yea, but the immigrant ( all races) kids get far better grades in school, and that generation pays 30% tax every year of their 100k salary... They're the ones that gonna take this country into next century of technologically advanced world. Issue with economy starts with the family. If you have single parent family and social issues.. kids aren't gonna make it in this highly competitive world. Please go to Google, facebook, Microsoft. .. you'll see immigrants left right and centre. Lets face the facts, immigrant mentality is what builds a proper county. First generation immigrants are lost and weird and seems odd, second generation is the cream of the crop . Third slows down then 4th is basically are the ones complaining about the first generation. Solution is to use these people and figure out how they will help this county in the next 30 years, not tomorrow. Look at how Irish, Ukrainian, Chinese, Italian etc.. came as first gen immigrants (to this native land). Cold.. lost.. try to use their wits to survive in a colonial economy. That second generation built what we have now. Immigration is a god damn economical strategy man... Issue with homelessness, has nothing to do with immigration. Homelessness is related to addiction and mental health. Most immigrants don't suffer from homelessness because they have relatives that look after each other. 3rd generation+ Canadians (all races) lack that.. if you're 18 you are own your own, thats where that issue is with homelessness.

One thing to highlight with not seeing any homeless Indians in that first seen is not that Indians are causing others to be homeless - rather, they are willing to help family out to prevent homelessness! When we first came here (20+ years ago from Ethiopia), we couldn’t find work and faced homelessness. Our extended family came thru and let the 4 of us stay in a small 1 bedroom in the basement until we could get on our feet. By having a room to be safe in, we avoided a lot of the consequences of homelessness that would have made getting back on our feet exponentially difficult. What I have found shocking now to see as a Canadian of 20+ years is my non-immigrant Canadian friends who will watch quietly as their family members fall under the poverty line and towards homelessness, avoiding inviting them in to not “disrupt their peace” at home. I’ve had random family of friends stay with me in hard times to avoid them being on the street while my generally kind friends (at least to others!) did not take them in. This individualistic mindset of the West really means if you have a low point in life, you will plummet to rock bottom…. Ofc homelessness and poverty is multifaceted but a more collective approach to community would also reduce the burden!

I remember when my family immigrated here over 15+ years ago and my brother was only 1 years old. 2 weeks after coming here he slipped on the floor and cut open his forehead on the hinges of our door and he was bleeding everywhere (he later had to get 6 stitches to fix it), my father was out working and we didn't know how to contact the police or hospital because we didn't have a home phone yet. We used our neighbors and the ambulance came and I strictly remember that because we didn't have our health cards yet they wouldn't start work even though my father said he will pay when he gets there. I remember my mother and I feeling helpless while my 1 year old brother was bleeding out (the hospital staff tried to stop the bleeding with cotton ball and bandage) and I distinctly remember that they did not start helping my brother even WHILE my father was paying but only started work after the bill was completed. Even though my family felt helpless at that time and we felt it was unfair, we never blamed Canada because it was their policy and they have every right to follow protocols. So it makes me angry to see people who walked into our country illegally getting far better treatment than my family ever got even though it might not be anything as life threatening as ours was. It makes me angry that our hard earned tax dollars are used to help people who have no motivation to help the country that gave them asylum during war.. It's actually the opposite as a lot of these families call their free housing "disgusting" and compare it to "living like a slave". I'm angry because little girls at my brothers own school are getting shoved and assaulted by refugee boys as young as 6-7 and are let off with a simple "don't do that again" and a meeting with the parents. This is not the Canada my family came to love and call home so I can't imagine the hardships of Canadians who are living here for 3, 4, 5+ generations 😔😔

Im a Canadian and honestly I've NEVER had a problem finding a job, I don't even have my highschool... I think it has to do with *which* jobs they are applying for. I get that theres an "immigration" problem, the refusal to adapt and assimilate feels like a slap in the face especially when the same few will talk I'll of the same system they benefit from. HOWEVER I don't think it's good to lump all of these problems together and dump collective blame on immigrants. For 1, all this immigration and policies have happened under a liberal government and y'all voted then in, AGAIN. - clearly you're not THAT desperate for change. 2nd. Are the ones saying they can't find work willing to work in trades? General laborers making $25-$30+++ No experience required. Tradespeople are glad to teach people willing to work hard and learn.. What about warehouse work? Apply to your 5 closest warehouses, I guarantee youll get in 1.. ALSO the government IS willing to help Canadians get little certifications like forklift, smartserve, CPR.. Career colleges can help with training (e.g - computer) as well as soft skills. So yeah, I wonder if it's people being just as picky as they were when Canada wasn't in the economical shitter it is in rn? Maybe Im far luckier or fortunate than most? Maybe expectations are too high? Maybe some stubbornly refuse assistance they are entitled to? Im not sure, but I do sympathize/empathize with you guys, I hope you all can "get through". I pray we can find solutions to this insane cost of living / broken housing market / price gouging / tiny group of business owners having a complete market control and a monopoly on everything thing we need to survive - without competition, limitations or government regulation🫩. It's not race that makes countries great or bad. Since there is just one human race. Its the culture that makes places great. Culture or shared ideas among the populace. Specially ideas of being open minded, living and letting live, freedom, being tolerant etc. These are the best ideas or culture that if held long enough by the majority of the people will turn that place into a great civilization indeed. Every great civilization of history was built through this culture in history. persian empire, macedonian empire, roman empire, british empire and now the united states etc... were/are all very diverse and very tolerant of indians and their ideas... cultural exchange of ideas through indians and receiving diverse viewpoints which helped them become great. However great empires, great places and civilizations never last. They fall down. They fall down once the culture changes. which is natural since culture is not static but dynamic, since it exists only in the minds of people, it can change in the same generation, or in the next - all it takes is replacing existing ideas with other ideas in the minds of people large enough. This is what we are seeing happening in canada and India... a shift of culture. The same culture of responsible for turning India into a terrible country is being adopted by canadians. Meanwhile for the past few decades.. india on the other hand has been adopting the better culture and growing slowly and steadily with many mistakes and hurdles along the way towards a brighter future... slowly because its huge... steadily because it knows where to go.... mistakes and hurdles because its an open democracy... If this cultural shift keeps continuing this way... There will come a time where canada would look more like afghanistan and India will look like the us or scandinavia... However i hope thats not the case. and its just a phase that does not lead to some significant revolution in terms of peoples thinking.

Canada's immigration system has lowered the bar big time. What happened to their mandate after '67 that was supposed to be focused on permitting entry to only skilled immigrants? Now, they're letting any immigrant with a pulse come in. As a result, rents and housing prices have skyrocketed, and now the average Canadian can no longer afford to buy a home. Of course, it doesn't help that the government got out of the homebuilding business decades ago; big mistake. Our government has done this country a huge disservice.

8:30 I don't buy it. They say we "have" to increase population because Canada has an aging population? Why? What wpuld happen if we don't? Increased quality of life? More affordable cost of living? Workers actually being valued and needed instead of competing for not even enough jobs? Oooh, so scary. Whatever they thought would happen, I don't see how it could have been worse than what we have now. How is getting millions of Tim Hortons and Walmart workers helping the aging population? It doesn't. The explanations don't make sense. 9:25 bs!!! How could they possibly think this? Their position is that since there was a population explosion in the 40's, now every future generation has to explode their population as well, or else there will be too many old people? Come on. It's too ridiculous to take seriously. Now since the rate isn't the same as the 40's they decide let's just import from countries that are massively over populated.... and become more like them. Like... NO!!! This is not what I want from life or for our world.

People believe it’s because of an “aging” population they let migrants come in???🙄 No, they are. It allowed to work in academic fields. Period!! It’s not about filling jobs it’s to create unrest among the population in order to usher in the New World Order! If it were about an “aging” population it could be helped with giving incentives for young couples who want to start a family.

Afraid. Not asleep. People see hear and feel it. The media are helping the GOVT hide that they have lost control and the host is the hostage. That Indian guy is right What are you going to do about it. Nothing and they know it. So maybe this is the shot across the bow letting us know its going to be that way whether we want it to or not.

Accountability should fall on the Government of Canada. They stopped screening properly. There used to be a point system that determined who could immigrate, and it actually worked. I’m of Pakistani descent, born and raised here, and when I’m in Brampton and walk into a Circle K, people start speaking to me in Hindi or Punjabi right away — it’s a trip. At the same time, I’m not saying everyone coming is bad. A lot of international students and new immigrants are hardworking people who want to build a better life. But plenty are also gaming the system. The real issue is that Canada messed up by letting in too many at once, with no structure to help them assimilate. When there’s no integration, no surprise people just act like they’re back home.

I am concerned about the comments here! Right now we need to welcome people from the US escaping ICE! We need to be humane! I agree that we need to be discerning to risky people, and there needs to be limits. But this is an emergency situation! We need to help good people who are at risk and just wanting a better life! How would you like to be in their shoes?? It would be scary! Lets be the safe place to land for these good people!! Even though I am tenth generation Canadian, we are all immigrants except for the First Nations People.

Canadians need to understand we have a huge immigration problem. We need to close temporatly our borders. stable our immigration, Health and assitenace programs. We need to fix our problems before we coulld help someone else. We are a sinking ship at the momment. lets not bring everyone down with it.

We can thank the Liberal party and J.T for letting in way too many immigrants since 2017. He solidified many votes for te liberals by doing so. It wasnt to help Canada grow. It was to help the Liberal Party grow.

CANADA does NOT HAVE a 'Housing Crisis". The housing crisis is in Vancouver & Toronto, because we let ALL the immigrants move there. But there are a thousand small towns across the country that need immigrants to stop from becoming ghost towns. The failure was in the Liberal Party deciding that getting the immigrant vote was how to win elections, so they let immigrants decide where to go, which didn't help the country. I should know.. I owned a 28-suite apt. block in Winnipeg (not even a small town!) and my property value dropped below the mortgage cost because more people were leaving Manitoba than entering at that time. I lost my block. Thanks, Liberal Party of Canada.
