Just to make a correction, I 25 (F) daughter of immigrant parents was born and raised here, live in the greater toronto area and wanted to mention that a lot of folks believe the ones behind the crime rise in toronto are the new immigrants. Over the years I have seen the gradual increase in Indians, and have had to deal with my share of it. The most interesting interaction I have seen is between Indians, namely in college the Indians traveled in packs, and densely at that. They could be tracked via smell alone. But the interesting part was, any Indian that did not stick to the pack, and did not smell like shit had endless insults, and general racist remarks made against them. AKA anyone who did not act the part, was simply seen as a traitor. Which is to also say, they fully wanted to bring India here, and had no intention of leaving anything behind.
